Poseidon nodded and then looked at her when she mentioned squirrel. "A squirrel? We have two of those, an annoying hyper one and a blind one." He said shaking his head, "It's pretty sad to hear about that. No one should be caged to one spot. Everyone should be able to go wherever they want to go."

Mizuko cocked her head to the side. "Actually I think our squirrel might have been taking a strange interest in one of them. I can't remember." She paused for a moment and nodded her head. "Aye...definitely agree with you on that." She bit her lip thinking. "Although I could pick her up and bring her inside to the house, but she would have to be placed in the bathtub since she needs water so often or else she dries out." She paused for a moment. "I might not look that great, but I am thankful that I can at least roam where I choose."

"Really now?" Poseidon said perking up, "I hope it's not Rawr. It would be a recipe of hyperness and disaster." He nodded at what else she said. "Well I guess you could also take her to different bodies of water if you can take her to the house." He said, "It is nice to roam around."

Mizuko nodded her head. "Oh yeah! I definitely agree with you on that. It would be scary to see." She got up. "Actually if you wanted to I could probably find her somewhere around here if you would actually want to see what she is like."

Poseidon nodded and stood up as well. "Scary indeed." He said shaking his head, "No it's alright. I'm quite sure she doesn't need someone new goggling at her. We can take a walk on the beach though. It'll be something to do."

Mizuko smiled. "Well you're the first considerate moonlit I met." She nodded her head. "Sure thing. That would help a lot." Mizuko walked a bit. "So...I'm guessing that you do this often?"

Poseidon scoffed. "I doubt I'm that considerate." He said walking towards the water line on the beach, "Do what often? Walk the beach? If so yeah. I like being by the water. What about you? Do you often hang out around here?"

Mizuko tried not to show him that she was laughing since it amused her. "Well I guess...I mainly hangout and watch the sea. It's especially nice when the sun sets and rises. It has many colors then." She paused for a moment. "Well...I can also do other things. I tend to also play a role in controlling the weather about the ocean. I can make things nice and peaceful. Or really stormy."
She abruptly stopped. "Originally I was part of a magical cards called clow cards. My true form was a mermaid like creature that could control water 100%. However, I didn't want to return to that dreadful book so only a small part of that is me. I fear a cage more then anything else."

Poseidon scowled at Mizuko's laughter. "I like being around here best at night. So peaceful. That and you get to see the stars." He said looking at her thoughtfully, "Interesting. Sounds a lot like an ability I'd like to have."
He stopped with her cocking his head. The clow cards? Why did those sound so familiar. "The clow cards...... Oh! One of the anthro's who lives with my owner is collecting the clow cards. I think she mentioned something about you when she sealed the watery card." He said nodding, "A cage is something to fear."

Mizuko sighed. Obviously he wasn't one who took things lightly. "Alright..." She went silent for quite a while before speaking again just because she felt awkward. "I guess, but it could get you hunted." She paused for a moment before nodding sadly. "Yeah...I...I don't want to go back to that...." She trailed off a bit.

Poseidon looked at Mizuko and then away. It was suddenly awkward. He wasn't sure why but it was. "It's not like I'm not used to being hunted. My human and some of the other moonlits she has come searching for me at times.... mainly when they've pissed me off." He said, "At least you nor me have to deal with being in a cage or being controlled. We're free just like this water here."

Mizuko tried to smile a bit, but the thought of when they were trying to seal her into a card still lay a frightening memory to her. "Yeah...that makes sense." She lightly laughed trying to not look so depressed. Just for a whim she thought she would play with the water. She looked out to the ocean. "Hey...I don't mean to sound weird, but do you like swimming?"

Poseidon finally was understanding that Mizuko didn't like talking about this stuff and nodded. "Yeah. I don't mind swimming. I bet you like to swim." He said looking at the ocean and grinning. He walked closer to the water's edge and looked at Mizuko. He placed a paw in the water and then splashed the water towards her.

Mizuko smiled at his reaction a bit. "I see." She blinked a bit before deciding to go in as well. She quickly dove into it. For now she kept her head above the water. Mizuko definitely didn't want to make herself appear more strange then she already was although she was thankful that she could live on land. "So do you do this often?"

Poseidon smiled for once when Mizuko jumped in. "Play in the water or go swimming?" He asked moving further into the water, "If it's playing then no. But I do swim every now and then." He watched her as she kept her head above the water and thought about how odd yet cool she looked.
