He hadn't arrived nearly as early as he had hoped, somebody was already there resting beneath a tree Sam recognized him from his profile, The Japanese man Nanaya Kurayami Sam held still curious as to where the other fighters were he was somewhat anxious about who his next opponent would be.

Nanaya noticed some movement that stopped suddenly. He stood and took a look at who came and noticed it was a contestant...what was his name, Sam? "looks like someone else couldn't sleep."

Clara calmed herself as he prepared to head out for battle site. Going through her wardrobe, she finally decided on black tanktop and a baggy pair of khaki shorts, since her fighting style was totally dependent on her mobility. Throwing on a matching belt, she made her way to the dresser and snagged the eyepatch that layed on top. Using the bathroom mirror, she placed the soft ivory colored band around her blueblack hair and over her empty eyesocket. Finally feeling ready, she grabbed her ID and left for the site.

Grabbing everything he would need, Fyr left his subpar motel and hailed a cab that would take him to the staduim where the fights would take place. Halfway through the ride, he passed a desolate plain where two figures sat. His heart sank to his stomach as he recognized as two of the other three fighters besides him left in the tournament, Nanaya Kurayami and Sansone Macalusa. What were they doing there? Didn't they get the e-mail that the last two rounds were to be held in the stadium downtown?
A smile suddenly crept across Fyr's face. What if they didn't get the e-mail, and they both didn't show up? Then they'd both be disqualified! Fyr nearly laughed at the thought. Then, there would only be one fighter left in his way to money and glory, the laughably unprofessional Clara Crescent. The thought of getting out and telling the men that they were in the wrong place did cross his mind, but ultimately his greed consumed him as he let the cab keep going onward towards the stadium.

Nanaya looked out across the street. He picked up his pack and started for the stadium. "We'd better get going too. All the fans are heading that way, so we must be in the wrong direction." He wrapped a scarf around his face. and blended in with the crowd.

Sam was still determined not to make any form of connection with any of these people since soon he could be beating them to death.

The cab Fyr was riding in finally pulled up at the back of the stadium, at the players', or in this case the fighters', entrance. Quickly he shoved some money at the cab driver before entering through the door. He walked down the white silent corridor filled with anticipation, hoping he was the first one there. He checked his watch. It was ten to eleven. Looking up, he saw the door to the locker room where the fighters were to meet was just up ahead. Was he the first there? And would Nanaya and Sansone miss the match? Only time would tell.

Nanaya looked back at the hanging clock. There was only five minutes left before the matches started. He was going to have to sprint as fast as he could to get there on time. That included jumping across the tops of cars to get there.

The stadium was readily approaching, she was getting close. As her mind wandered yet again to whom she might be facing, Clara saw an interesting sight ahead of her. It was a man sprinting as fast as he could towards the stadium, making a spectacle out of himself as he went. 'He couldn't be...one of the participants, could it?' She thought to herself. She couldn't tell since he was so far ahead of her, but that was about to change. In an instant, Clara took off running after the man, eager to find out who he was and why he was in such a hurry.

Nanaya saw a crowd of people running in the same direction he was going. It was blocking off most of the sidewalk. To easily curve this problem he decided to pull off a wall run over their heads. He only managed 3 large steps before diving to the ground in a roll past them. He heard their shock as they gasped at the person in front of them as he stood up and wrapped his scarf tightly around himself and walked briskly with his hands in his pockets.
