The tail whipped away from him, wrapping around her waist and forming a bow behind her back. "Nuh uh," she told him, shaking a finger at his nose. "No biting. I no wanna be bit."
And when someone riding a four hundred pound monster of a brother said that, you should probably listen. But she didn't seem horrified that he seemed to be thinking of it. In fact she was taking it all in stride.
"Not so much," Chris said. "Carmel really wanted to see them, too."

Zarukah huffed and growled up at her " No fun". Ubara let him bite him and he had offered to let her bite him first. Clearly she didn't know how to play.
Chevy nodded and lead the small group to the enclosed pen where six small ponies were lead about in a circle, each with a child riding on them. " They're pretty docile " the man explained, not that Carmel seemed like the type of child to try and upset them.

"What do you say, Carmel? Want to ride a pony?" Chris asked her, sitting down slowly and reaching up to pull her off of his shoulders. She was busy looking at the horses thoughtfully.
"They no got horns," she said. "But are pretty. Okay!" She grinned up at Chevy. "I ride?" she asked him.

Chevy smiled softly and nodded Carmel, as he slowly set Zarukah down again and prayed the boy would behave himself. When it seemed that his son was not about to try and eat the girl he lead the pair over to Demi just as the ponies all came to a stop and their current riders dismounted, leaving the area surprisingly empty for this time of day.
Zarukah was keeping his teeth to himself at the moment, once again on the ground he was reminded of just how big Chris was and he probably wouldn't like it if he bit the girl.

Chris, when he was close enough to the boy, reached up, his humongous hand patting his head gently. "Thanks for not biting my little sister," he told him. It was a warning, but it was set as a compliment, hopefully it would make the boy feel good about his self control. Hopefully.
Carmel, completely oblivious, went for a joyful pony ride, taking to it like a pro thanks to her experience riding her brother.
