Bui moved into his own position, waching as Pilate moved her way around towards the rabbits. He made sure she saw him in position before she attacked, but he was glad when she did. All this talk about food certainly made him hungry. He could feel his stomach growling as he did so.
He watched the rabbit running towards him, more afraid of Pilate... too afraid of her to realize he was there until it was too late. Then he sprung out of the bushes and snatched it up in his large powerful jaws, snapping it's neck with ease now that he was older.
He smirked at her, gripping it tight in his jaws. "Looks like we did a good job." He told her, dropping it in front of the smaller creature and nodding his head, "Looks like, once again, you and I make a good team." His voice was icy, nothing new, but at least he seemed genuin.

Pilate nodded, "We did, that was a lot faster then killing on my own." He really had been training. It showed in how easily he killed that rabbit, and thus, once again amazed Pilate.
"You really have some skills Bui," She nodded at him and the dead rabbit.
((Blah , My muse is dying, promise to have better replies next time))

Bui nodded to her. It had been quite a bit quicker together than either of them would have been able to accomplish by themselves, he had to hand her that one. Normally he liked hunting alone, but this worked just fine.
"Indeed... so have you. You're much faster than I remember. I hope you continue to improve." He told her, repectful and blunt, as he held the rabbit out to her, "You may have the first share, if you like."

Pilate smiled at the the blunt complement. She really didn't mind it though.
"No no, last time I sectioned off the kill. Its only fair you take first dibs Bui." And in truth, she was much better fed then when they had first met. Now she was filling out a little looking more healthy then before. Her figure was lean, but not sickly.
"I bet next time if we meet up again, we'll take down a zebra or two." The cheetah laughed, but she wasn't completely over the top in her mind. Bui was strong and she was fast, in a few months time they'd make a great team if they ever hunted together again, and if Bui still didn't mind such childish games.

Bui looked at her thoughtfully, but shrugged and nodded. He wasn't about to complain that he was allowed to have the first bite. It suited him just fine actually.
"Yes well... maybe if you're a little bigger the next time we meet." He suggested to her thoughtfully. A zebra... yes, that seemed like a good idea. A small rabbit was barely enough to sustain him now really. He would have liked something much bigger.
"I think that would do nicely. Perhaps you could come a little further into the pride as well. I'm sure you'd be welcome to stay a night or two." Not that he really cared, but Pilate had always been a quick study. Perhaps she would make a good impression for him.

"Yeah, next time we can hunt bigger, I ' d like that." And she really would. Hunting was her passion she'd found and she loved it.
The sun was starting to dip down lower then the cheetah would have liked for her trip home and she needed to get back.
"Keep the hare, next time our prey will be more then enough," She chuckled, " I have to get going back now before its to dark to see a tree in front of you. I'll return next time and will be stronger and faster next time," The cheetah rubbed her head to the lions shoulder before sprinting off , fast. She would return another day and she was sure when she did return that Bui would be a full fledged demon hunter.
He had some training left to do and Pilate had some of her own left to do.
The little streak of green accented the plains as she ran home.
