Juda I hope it comes out in 2006, that way, there will be two movies based on my two favorite horror game series coming out IN THE SAME YEAR! OMFG SILENT HILL AND FATAL FRAME. :O XD I cant wait to see the Silent hill movie! It's said to come out on the 21st of april and I hope so! My b-days on the 24th. xd

To be truthful,
I'm a little worried.
I don't want North Americans involved in the movie because they tend to not get the real horror of a Japanese ghost story (look what they did to Dark Water!)
There is this movie series called "The Eye", really creepy, and I hope to see Fatal Frame be something like that.

Us cant seem to make good horror films as well as the japanese do. Like the ring, the japanese version is really scary but the american version sucks.

Mmm I am excited. ^^ My friend was talking about this a little while ago (by that I mean a year and a few months). Of course this brought my other friend on to talk about the porno film that was made about Mio and Mayu gonk She said that they got actors that looked like them. Well, at least thats a plus sweatdrop now if only they'd make one with Itsuki and Mutsuki...

I'm personally quite excited. Video games are rarely (okay, never) made into good movies, but I adore the Fatal Frame franchise and I really want to see how they make the movie. What's fighting with the ghosts going to be like? The DOOM movie was hammered because of its approach to simulating the first-person parts of the game, but the camera is an extremely integral part of Fatal Frame, and I'm very curious to see if they'll still try to stay true to the game in that aspect.
Okay, so the movie is probably going to be awful. But so far the rumor that Steven Speilberg is overseeing the movie (not directing it though, bummer) hasn't been busted, and it seems like more rumors and such have been surfacing about it lately, including a few about who will be playing Miku. At the moment it looks like Courtney Webb and Anne Hathaway are the two main "contenders," but we shall have to wait and see what happens. Let's just hope that we get some concrete info about the movie soon!

Well, I read from Wikipedia that it will start filming sometime this year in Japan, and Courtney Webb is going to be playing the main part as Miku (whoo~<3)...but I forget anything else they said...so just go to Wikipedia and search Fatal Frame to read more... xp
