Meirou assures him she knows some scary girls and it's perfectly alright. In fact, Kanna is kind of scary when you touch her precious dolls. sweatdrop
Meirou smiles up at Kouyo and Boyan, hoping everything is going well, and they will be able to have DANISH in the Space Danish! Or would that be a horrible idea? Meirou brought some, upon Kanna's insistence. She holds up the bag to make her point, grinning.

No scary girls, Boyan thinks, can compare to the three giggling banshees in the other room.
And as he stands to retrieve drinks from the fridge for the aforementioned banshees, he keeps a steady stream of private thoughts toward Kouyo. A gift from the Silver Empress, onto which they have been invited...
Boyan is somewhat concerned as well, but at the same time... He just can't find anything WRONG with it.

The children will have Kouyo nearby while they are there; he touches Xiao Huo's shoulder gently, giving off a small and shy but resolute feeling of protection. They fear and worry because they do not understand. So, while Kouyo seeks answers in the clear water, Boyan will also continue to grope for treasure in the mud, yes? The High Priest cannot see in the mud.
He smiles faintly and glances up at Boyan, projecting a faint feeling of uncertainty, but also hopeful friendliness.
Xiao Huo boggles at Boyan a little. Girls did that to him? eek He creeps to the side a little, trying to get a view into the other room of the giggling girls as though he is attempting to sneak up on a ghost or monster.
... But his interest is quickly captured instead by the bag Meirou has. What does a "danish" look like?

Meirou smiles at Xiao Huo gently. A danish is a pastry that's round with a sort of...fruity jelly stuff in the center. It's good~! Sometimes there's icing on it too! Like a doughnut, sort of.
What kind of fruit do Boyan, Kouyo, and Xiao Huo like? Meirou is quite partial to cherry or lemon. The girl opens the bag to peek inside. Oh good! She has four kinds~. Hopefully this will work out... sweatdrop
