The rain poured down, and dark clouds covered the sky, resulting the once bright beautiful day to look gloomy and sad. Dragain, with an umbralla in hand, quickly walked home as she did not want to get wet.
Her mad rush home made her walk the alleyway, a place she often avoids seeing how the place often gives her the creeps. However, the rain was making her wet and miserable, thus, holding her breathe, she started to run through the alleyway. Her run was stopped by a moving bundle on the sidewalk, sheltered from the heavy rain by parts of the old house's roof. Arosed by curiosity, Dragain moved towards the bundle and realised that there was a baby warpped up there. The baby had red eyes, and certainly was not crying.
"A vampire..." Dragain mumbled, shocked, "What is one doing here? I better bring him home... Even one would get sick under these conditions."
She picked him up, and could feel his eyes studying her. She looked at the baby in her arms and smiled, "Don't you even try biting me..." The baby closed his eyes as Dragain hurried home. Somehow, the rain had stopped suddenly, and as the sun came out, Dragain raelised that maybe heaven was crying for this baby.
"And now that I'm here, the sun in shining brightly again!"

The pavement and path up to the door was slippery from the rain, and as Dragain balanced the baby in one arm and hold some heavy bags with lunch in them. Just as she thought she would make it back without falling over, Saniiro appeared and helped her with dinner, peering at the bundle that is in Dragain's arm.
"Another one, Dragain?" Saniiro askedas they walked up the path, "We have enough children as it is... And is he of Vampiric race? I can smell it in him." Dragain thought for a moment, before smiling and answered, "I'm not planning on keeping him. I justy found him alone in the rain... He is just a baby!"
Saniiro sighed and opened the door, and inside many children who are related by name and bond but not in blood, played together as a happy family. "Father, mother, you're home!" A young girl with grey wings shouted, and soon, the children were crowded around the young couple. Noticing the baby in Dragain's arms, some of them tried to take a closer look.
"Who's that?"
"Don't know... A younger brother?"
"I want a sister!"
"Boys are better..."
"No, they're not!"
"His name is Alucard." Dragain said suddenly as Saniiro gave a heavy sigh, "And he's a boy. Come meet your new brother." As cheers of the children of the Storm residence was heard, Alucard opened his eyes and gave a long yawn, unaware of the new life that was ahead of him.

Dear Diary
Alucard turned out to be quite the baby. He doesn't cry, whine or even do what most babies do. In overall, he's a calm child with a cool head. He likes to tease the others too, but he's really good at picking up new skills. I suspect that he hates losing...
I gave him special milk, since he's a vampire. He drank it all up in a second, and wanted more. Somehow, I found myself wondering if he wants to drink pure blood, although I doubt so.
Saniiro is also getting used to the whole 'One nore child' thing. He likes playing with Alucard, and talking with him. Alucard's the only child in the family who actually enjoys Saniiro's books. Even I found them to be quite boing at times.

"Can I help," Dragain pleaded, "Please?" The kids were playing outside in the snow while the younger ones were in the living room watching cartoons. Saniiro rose an eye brow and shook his head, "I can't risk anything happening to our Thanksgiving dinner. And you're in no condition to breathe in the smoke from cooking."
Dragain gave another whine before exiting the kitchen. She laid down on the sofa and watched the cartoon with the kids. At that moment, the doorbell rung and Saniiro's voice called from the kitchen, "Dragain, please open the door!" Mumbling, Dragain opened the door and outside, standing on the pavement, was a very familiar face whom Dragain had not seen for a very long time.
"Father!" Dragain said, gasping, "I didn't know. I..." Her father gave her a hug and laughed, "I heard that it's nearing Christmas, whatever that is, here so I decided to come stay for a few days. Unless, of cause, I'm not welcomed?" Dragain shook her head nervously, "No, do come in father..."
Ingina popped in from the snow, and looked at Dragain's father and asked, "Mama, who's he?" Gaiyo stared at Ingina and asked, "What's the meaning of this? Who is this girl?" Dragain sighed and called in all the children, helping them remove their winter clothing.
"Father, this is Ingina, Karimaru, Aicho," Dragain said, "Alucard And Jade. They are my adopted children." Gaiyo looked at the children standing behind Dragain and laughed, "Ah, I'm Gaiyo but you can call me Grandpa!" Excited chatters caused Saniiro to peek out of the kitchen.
"Gaiyo-Sama." He said, "Forgive me..." He removed his apron and walked towards Gaiyo. With that, th two men walked away to Saniiro's study to chat. Dragain sighed and sat down again, scribbling in her diary.
Quote: Dear Diary Father came by today... He said that he was going to stay with us for quite some time. It's not that I'm unhappy, I'm glad to see him again after so long, but now that I have children running around... But father seems to enjoy their company, and them, his. I hope all will go well... Alucard's Quest!
Alucard has - incredibly - made quite a few friends among his fellow Tenjutsu, and seems quite well-adjusted to his adoptive family. Now it's time for this little vampire to move slightly outside of his comfort zone.
The Quest:
Alucard and an adult - preferably NOT his mother and father, hint hint - must go to a child play activity, and he must interact with the other children. He must bring back a flyer from the program or something else to prove he went.

"Bye father!" Dragain shouted as Gaiyo walked away with Alucard in his arms, "Come back soon! Take care of Alucard!" Gaiyo looked at Alucard, and Alucard stared back. He walked over to the family car and placed Alucard into the kiddy chair at the back and fasten it onto the seat. With that, he drove off onto the icy road.
"We're here," Gaiyo said as he unbuckle Alucard from his seat, "The child playground... It's air-conditioned too." He laughed as he locked the doors of the car. Entering the building, he headed straight for the registration counter.
"I've booked a space."
"Name please?"
"Gaiyo... And Alucard, my grandson."
"Hold on... Ah, yes. Please go ahead."
Following directions, Gaiyo arrived in a room full of children, most of them Alucard's age. Giving a smile, he placed Alucard on the floor and went to take a seat nearby. He beckoned Alucard to go play with the others with a wave of his hand and an encouraging smile. He saw Alucard gave the room a glance before moving towards the slide.
Alucard looked at the other infants. They're playing together, and he thought it best if he don't disturb them. That is when he caught sight of a boy sitting at a corner. Feeling curious, he crawlled over and sat in front of the loney boy. The boy looked up and his eyes widened.
"Hello." Alucard said.
"He... Hello..."
"Me Alucard. You?"
"Kyou..."
Alucard held out a rubber ball and said, "Play ball?" He threw it at the wall. Allowing it to bounce back, he caught it back in his hand. He offered Kyou the ball and gave him a nod. Kyou took the ball with an uncertain nod and mimiced Alucard, throwing the ball at the wall before catching it.
Kyou broke into a smile and Alucard grinned as both of them took turns at playing. Soon, many other children joined in, and before Alucard knew it, an hour had passed. When Gaiyo picked him up, he gave a slight frown and waved goodbye to his new friends.
Gaiyo smiled to himself. Coming here had did Alucard some good afterall. Before leaving, he grabbed a brooch off the counter. On the brooch are the words, 'Fun in Play Hut'. He handed it to Alucard as he bunkled him into his seat.
"You had fun today, eh?" He asked and Alucard gave a nod. Laughing, Gaiyo bunkled himself onto the driver's seat before driving home.

Alucard looked at the ball in his hand as he gave a whine. It was a boring day, and it was too cold for a young child like him to be outside. All his brothers and sisters are out playing in the snow, while he only have a picture book and some paper for company.
"Bored, are we?" A voice asked, a hint of amusement in them. Alucard looked up to see his father's face. Saniiro sat down beside him and took out some color pencils together with a few colored markers. He selected a piece of paper and drew out a puppy with a pencil before coloring it in with color pencils.
"This is a puppy." Saniiro said, pointing at his picture. Then, pointing to the dog in the picture book, he nodded, "And this is a puupy too. Why don't you draw. That'll give you something to do in the mean time! Copy out a picture from the book and color it in." With that, he patted Alucard's head and walked out of the room into the kitchen.
"Draw..." Alucard said as he took a color pencil and got to work. Paper after paper were filled with weird drawings of his scribbles. Maybe the day isn't going to be as boring as he thought.

An Unwelcomed Visitor - Part 1
The doorbell rang, and resounded through the house. It was late at night, and all the children were already asleep, except for Kenji who was out in the clinic. Dragain and Saniiro was watching a late night movie, and it surprised them to hear the doorbell. Kenji had the keys to the house, so it can't be him. Who would come here in the dead of night?
"I'll go open the door," Dragain offered, standing up as the doorbell rang a second time. Saniiro nodded, pausing the movie and getting up to visit the bathroom while Dragain make a trip to the door.
"Yes," Dragain asked with a smile as the door swung open, "How mmay I be of help so lae at night?" The cloaked figure outside was silent for a moment, only his slow breathing can be heard. However, the figure pulled Dragain to him, and gave her a hug.
"It's been such a long time," He whispered to a bewildered Dragain, "Do you not remember me?" He removed the cape to unveil a young man with jet-black hair with white highlights. To Dragain, the looks and voice of the male is strangely familiar. Like someone you haven't seen for years then suddenly appear in front of you.
"Fauste?" Dragain exclaimed, making it seem more of a statement of fact rather then a question. "Um... Come in and take a seat... Such a long time..." She stamered and blushed a deep pink. She invited him in, and closed the door.
"Dragain, who's that at the door?" Saniiro asked, walking out of the bathroom located at the side of the kitchen. When he had stepped into the living room, he took one look at Fauste and blinked.
"What are you doing here?" He exclaimed, causing Dragain to give a nervous laugh. She quickly pulled Saniiro to the couch, trying to make sure he dosen't speak another word. After making sure that Fauste is seated as well, she sat down inbetween the two males. She cleared her throat, and an awkward silence hung over the three people as nobody said a word.
"Nice to see you too, Saniiro." Fauste smirked suddenly, breaking the silence. He placed an arm around Dragain, and pulled her head to lay on his shoulder. Then, without waiting for her proests, continued speaking with a smirk and a formal tone. "How have you been, my dear, fine brother?"

Fauste pulled Dragain closer to himself, and wrapped his arms around her. He smiled and asked, "And how about you? How have you been?" His voice became softer, and more sincere.
"Fauste, if you could just let go of me..." Dragain replied, pushing his arms away and straightening herself, "Saniiro and I are fine. We sleep together in the same room, so you can have the guest room."
Saniiro smiled lightly, "Yes, we're still engaged to each other..." He took Dragain's hand and held it up to show a silver ring made not of silver, but of Dragon bone. A white gem sits in the middle of the ring, glistering in the light.
Fauste narrowed his eyes, "Ah, yes... How could I forget? I was there when it took place, the ceremony." He played with the fabric of his windbreaker, and smirked to himself. He paued, and continued, "I could sleep in the guest room for tonight... And I shall find my own place tomorrow."
He stood up, "I met your son, Kenji already, by the way." He smiled, "I'll make myself comfortable then..." Dragain gasped, while Saniiro just smiled back, "This house has more children then just one or two. All hell with break loose in the morning... Go make yourself at home."
"Good night," Dragain smiled as Fauste made his way up the stairs to the guest room. She frowned, "Saniiro, you sure it's a good idea? He don't like kids much..."
"That's the whole point," Saniiro laughed softly, "To get him out of the household." He turned off the television, and got up. Dragain followed suit and sighed. Things are going to be more complicated around the Shojo household...
