Carefully, she considered the offer. He seemed honest enough, and she figured that if he were the underhanded type, she could probably take him easily... "I guess that that would be nice. I could use a bit of a rest... And could help you hunt, of course, if you don't mind company."

Aidan nodded, laying back down, deciding to sun himself a bit. It was a glorious day to do so. "I don't mind company. Espetially from such an interesting lioness. I just hope you can rest up a bit. You seem tired."
He rested his chin on his paws and closed his eyes. He had no reason to fear her. Something told him she would not try to hurt him.

Ozzie nodded, and slid back down to the ground, resting her head on her paws as her glasses slid down her nose. She had forgotten her morose mood, now interested in his other lion. "Well, don't let that hold you back. If you're ready to hunt, I am, too." If there was one thing she had taught herself, it was to hunt regardless of her own condition. Food was absolutely necessary to survival, and you couldn't put off hunger just because you were tired.

Aidan smiled a bit. This lioness was very tough and determined. She was more than equal to him in his mind. Traveling as much as she did, she was probably stronger than him. "If your hungry and up to it, hunting would be something to do."

Standing, Ozzie shook the grass from her belly with the dull rattling of the hidden mail of her armor. She made a mental note that the leather needed to be oiled, but mindlessly blew away a chunk of hair that was tickling her cheek and half-smiled, "Then it sounds like a plan!"

Aidan followed suit, standing as well. Grass never really stuck to him, even if wet while laying in a pile of grass clippings. Possibly due to his ability.
"Then let's go!" He grinned a bit playfully and bounded off, searching for prey at the same time.

Ozzie followed behind, the leather creaking slightly with each movement. The grass wasn't tall enough to completely hide him, but the color of his coat did make it slightly more difficult to find him just by sight - she found that mildly amusing, since she figured it made him quite the good hunter.
She also wondered if he utilized his plant-power while hunting... It could be potentially useful, though she didn't know the extent of it.
Gosh... she thought, keeping a close eye on him. It's like I've found a superhero!

Aidan stopped behind huge bushes, crawling on his stomach as he spotted deer. He looked back and motioned to the clothed lioness behind him and motioned toward them. They were somewhat plump, but not too old.

Ozzie crept up beside him, followed his gesture to the deer, and nodded. They seemed like decent prey, to be sure. If they could run them together and cross paths, even if they were young and quick it would probably be a successful hunt.

Aidan pressed his paw deep into the ground, making a slight hole. He motioned with his other paw to a vine that started to grow silently just behind the deer's hind legs. It was only big enough to wrap around one leg. He soon did the same with the other paw, now two vines behind it.
"I'll trap it..."

"All right... I'll pounce it then?" It was a slight question, but she was already moving around the bush so she could easily jump form behind her. Her claws were already drawn, razor sharp and showing their use.

Just as Ozzie moved, Aidan clenched his paws shut tightly. Just as he did, the vines wrapped around the deer's hind legs with a vice-like grip. It bucked and called out in fear, but was stuck fast. It did show a struggle of sorts for him to hold his paws closed.
"Go!"

Ozzie had bounded over the bush before he even finished getting the word out, the deer's yelp the trigger to her keen reflexes. In just one more bound in the space between herself and the prey, her claws were buried in it's shoulders and her strong jaw deftly clamped down in it's neck and snapped it in one swift motion, ceasing it's cries abruptly in a spray of blood around her mouth.

Aidan released the deer's legs only after he saw the blood. He hurried out from hiding as the other deer ran out of sight, moving in to check on Ozzie and the deer. He stopped short and grinned broadly.
"You are a powerful lioness Ozzie!" He chuckled, sinking his teeth into it's body. With a swift movement he threw it over his back, his own mouth bloody now as well. "I must say I have never met a lioness such as yourself."

Ozzie's brows shot up, "Says you!" She worked at cleaned her claws uickly before resheathing them. "You can make vines grow out of nothing - that's so cool!" She revisited her previous thought as she licked her maw clean of blood before it clumped on her face.
