"Well, I suppose my markings are just peachy thing. Cause my tail is quite long. "He flung his tail towards the front of his body to wiggle it in front of him to show the other. He laughed. All cheetahs had long slender tails, but his... HIS was the best. Of course, he'd lie and tell the females theirs were better then his.
"well I hear they'll go after any stick." He said as if trying to think back on the exact words. "But, I don't think I've ever seen it personally." He laughed. "Stick girl then?" He asked her jokingly.
He laughed again. Watching her put the stick in her hair was rather amusing. "Beautiful! Seems you can work any time of accessory." He told her not to make her feel bad if she actually did want to keep it it. But there was a hint of joke in his voice. He still thought sticks in hair was rather silly. Though, maybe he was silly for not having sticks in his hair?

Poro laughed.
"Of course your tail is long! You're a cheetah!" she swung her own tail forward proudly, moving so she could bat it against his. She didn't seem to notice that his was the best, though she wasn't really comparing them for individual quality.
She was still grinning, knowing the stick probably looked ridiculous. Who would want to wear a stick on their head? But she liked the fun of it, and looked haughty and vain at his words. She sat with her chest and head high, affecting a prissy air.
"I think you're right. Anything I wear is bound to look beautiful. It's my gift, and my curse. Oh the jealousy I encounter! Even you must be feeling it's cold grip now, looking at me as you are!" She tried not to break out in a cackle at how silly she was being.

He couldn't help but start to laugh hard with what she said last. He couldn't even manage to stay up he was laughing so hard. He feel with a light thud and a small cloud of dust poofed from under him. It started to hurt that he had to slow his laughing and actually breath. He couldn't help it though. She was rather amusing, especially when she was acting prissy and high and mighty. Even though he had just met her, she didn't seem like the time to be that way. Too amusing for him.
"I think you made me break a rib!" He said teasing her as he finally was able to stop laughing. He didn't get up though. He felt rather comfortable upon the ground that he was laying on. It was warm and rather nice. He stared up at her with his blue eyes and a silly smile still across it.

She looked down at him, trying to keep her character, but she was grinning. His reaction, in and of itself, was too hilarious to keep a straight face. She didn't even care if he was laughing at her joke, or directly at her. The laugh was contagious regardless.
"Whoops," she said, tilting her head when he feigned injury, "well, if it's breaking that easily than you probably didn't need it. Or it needs this to get stronger. Either way, it's a good thing."
She grinned, sitting down next to him. The stick fell from her ear and bounced off his nose and then onto the floor. She looked down at it, the frowned.

He wiggled his nose after the stick had bounced from it. Smiling. "Apparently you might need something else there to keep the stick from falling out when you sit!" He chuckled a little bit before looking at the stick. Some sap would work nicely, but then that'd give off a sticky mess in ones hair. Hard to clean off too. He remembered rubbing against a tree then having spent hours to get that sticky mess off him.. Never again will he itch his side on a tree... Rocks.... Rocks work better.
"Ah well, but now you have bark in your mane." He pointed out as he looked to the spot where the stick had fallen from. And there was stick residue there. the only real evidence that it had been in her small mane. He shook his head as if it was him with that on him.

"Hm, I think you're right," she grinned, then shrugged, "I'll figure something out. Maybe I can get it in the fur a bit better, so it doesn't fall out. I mean, I can't run if I have to worry about my hair and the sticks therein."
She looked thoughtful.
"I what? That's not as beautious as the stick had clearly been!"
She shook her head, trying to dislodge whatever was left, then tried to rub it off with her paws. Then she looked at him, frowning. Lowering her head and pushing it toward him, she swished her tail behind her.
"Can you get it out?"

He smiled at her pulled off the bits left in her mane with his paw. "There, that should do it" He said with a nod and a smile. "Maybe you should sick to stones and... whatever this stuff is" he pointed to his neck. It seemed like the best way to go with accessories. Who knew though. He wasn't a expert on it, and never would be. "At least they don't make you messy anyways. " He winked at he with a smile.

She nodded. She'd have to remember that.
Sighing, she looked up at the sky, then across the horizon. She had been in one place too long. Even though she had been pretty exhausted after their run, she wanted to get back to playing, back to roaming and being free. Though, the idea of going too far and not being able to find this new friend again was a bit striking. She hadn't really made many friends before, and none that she wasn't prepared to leave when the urge called her away.
Tilting her head at him, she frowned thoughtfully. Even this expression was tinged with playfulness, though.
"I guess I should be going..." she ventured, not sounding too inclined.

"Already?" He asked her with adding to her frown. She was so much fun, and yet, he felt that he needed to go too. He liked to sit down once in a while and chat to someone on occasions. The open world always seemed to have time for him to relax and stop moving a few times a week. "Perhaps while we are roaming, we'll find each other again for another nice chat." It was a hope only any friend could have. To see another again rather then think that life would never pass paths again.
He had a feeling they'd meet again. Though feelings of his never really meant anything. He'd like to believe it did though. "Seems time has passed faster then I thought it did. " He said as he too looked towards the sky. Which had changed in color, but only slightly.

She nodded at him reluctantly.
"I'll keep running, and if I find you behind me some time I'll be one happy lady," she nodded, grinning. She liked this Dragonfly, and did want to see him again. If only to see what more trouble they could get up to. She imagined he was even more fun than just playing with sticks and jewelry.
"Well, I see you again," she said with confidence, turning to pad off. She hesitated, turned and rubbed him affectionately, and then skittered off with a laugh in the air. She was running again, flat out, looking back over her shoulder at him and waving her tail in an effort to say goodbye effectively.
If she didn't run into something, this would make a really cool moment of parting.

He found himself just standing there, watching her go. Dames... They always had away of leaving so great. Well, his day had now just become dull again. He sighed and turned away as he couldn't see her anymore. He wondered if all dames were like that? Which made him want to met more cheetahs. He smiled stupidly as he started off in a trot. The opposite way of the other. Maybe one day they'll see each other again. And hopefully soon.
