I had the Lumberjack Slam at Denny's, which was two scrambled eggs, two beef sausage links, two pancakes, hashbrowns, two pieces of bacon, and a buttermilk biscuit.

I've been dieting. I get so grouchy when I'm hungry! But I'm down to 130 so that pretty normal I guess for 5'4"? Thank goodness I take the weekends off. I hadn't eaten anything all day today, so I splurged with the McDonald's Dollar menu... a McDouble with a small fry and ice water.
It'll be back to chicken and veggies on Monday. But hey, it works!!!

Hmh; I'll have to give that a try Gwee. I need to do somethng to rid of this damn weight. I'm starting to think I should get a job as a Blimp. I'm so glad that it is working for you. I had started the Nutrisystem program about six months ago. I lost 31 lbs. But now I've regained that weight loss and added a few extra pounds. I'm so damn frustrated. I don't like having a Thyroid problem.

You know, I've always heard red meat was bad for you, but I never believed or understood it. Plus I thought buying the leaner ground meat was doing better.... But after my Thanksgiving visit, my Grandma had me counting calories, fat grams, and carbs... daily. It got very tedious. I eventually quit, but I did learn that most meats have WAY too much fat to eat very much in a day and be healthy. Plus, I switched out all the soft drinks I drank for tea or kool-aid made with Splenda (or more specifically, Wal_Mart's version of Splenda.)
I don't do well with strict rules, so these little changes seem to work better for me. Maybe they can for you too?
Does coffee count? It's my typical breakfast lately. Sweetened with Splenda of course. When I was doing the strict diet, it was a low-fat granola bar.

I've been just counting my calories and doing some exercise, its been working. I'm still a little overweight. As I see it though, it took time to gain this weight and it's going to take time to get rid of it. smile
Today I had a piece of chicken, and some mash potatoes. It was good enough for me. smile
