"Heat Wave!" cried Zinnia, now truly fearful for her little friend.
It now took a lot of effort to remain aloft. Zyk inhaled deeply before shooting out another red-hot blast. He wasn't sure that he would be able to protect his human this time... He hoped that Shadow Mew would come to the rescue, should he fail...

Get was slammed hard again, this time, he hit the ground.. hard... He struggled to stand again.. "{I.. will never.. give up.... I lost.. my former home.. to humans... I will not.. lose this one....}" He took off painfully, his wing with the poison was almost numb. He looked up at his target, the human lover didn't look much better. He flapped hard, not having the strength to get that high anymore. He fell again as his Air Cutter flew towards the Zubat.

Zyk was so startled at the pidgey's statement that he actually fell a few feet in the air, which luckily allowed him to avoid the Air Cutter. "(THAT'S why you attacked us?)" he said indignantly. "(We mean you no harm, we were only passing through! I don't know what grudge you have against us, but I will not allow you to leave here unpunished after you threatened Zin.)" Zyk regained height, now more determined than ever to teach this arrogant pidgey a lesson.
"Um, Poison Fang!" Zinnia shouted, not sure what the pokemon had said to each other.
Using his anger as fuel, Zyk pounded forward, mouth open and ready to bite.

Get couldn't take off anymore, all he could do was wait. The attack hit, and hit hard. As the Zubat hit his wing with his fangs once again, "{Yes, I know. The ones that tried to kill me last time were passing through as well....}" With that, he aimed the last thing that he could do at the Human Lover, he attempted to peck it, but, he had so little energy left, he wasn't sure if it would hit, even at this range.

Zyk hissed as a sharp peck landed on the thin membranes of his wing. "(Humans... Aren't all... bad...)" he said, panting. "(Zin saved... my life.... She... She would never hurt you... There are many... humans similar to her... Try... To trust one more... time...)"
Then, without waiting for the order, Zyk fired a Heat Blast at Get. Hopefully that would finish him off... Zyk wanted so badly to prove his worth, even though he was not as strong as Shadow Mew...
Zinnia stared up at the battle, wide-eyed with apprehension. Would they be alright? She relied on Zyk and knew he'd probably be okay, but what about the pidgey...?
