The town was within view now and the troops were excited to be so close to home. From a distance the town didnt look like much but thats not far from the truth. As the soldiers entered the town few gave a smile and even less looked to see them. Most were too busy tending wounds of injured soldiers and others just stopped caring. The village was nothing but a circular wooden wall surrounding 15 large cottages a blacksmith and a shop. Luke sighed. "alright men..get to your bunks and rest up...you earned yourselves a good sleep." Luke looked up to the sky with a saddened look. "...why must you torture these poor souls.." He thought as he sat down on a rock and pulled out a water canteen. He gestured to the girl that had followed to sit with him and looked at anotherk knight near by and asked him to come over aswell.

After Uroth had finished dragging the remaining bodies to Lilliath and watching her suck every last remaining drop of their energy, he stood beside her in his Demon form making sure that no other Demon was stupid enough to approach her. Although, he was sure he could manage on her on. He didn't want her wasting any of her time on the useless creatures who could not even get past him. He was after all, her first line of defense.
"What should we do now?" He asked. Uroth stood ominously beside her. Yet, she did not even cower at his shadow.
Lilliath leaned against the bark of a tree and thought carefully about the answer.
"I need a place to rest." She said looking up at his huge frame. "Even after sucking the energy from these men, I am still a bit tired. After all, we did just end a huge battle not to long ago. There were only 10 men at most who were still conscious enough for me to still their last dying breath. That isn't enough for me. I need genuine rest. I am, after all, just a pitiful elf. I can't live off of death and energy forever. I need something to eat and a place to rest my head."
Uroth nodded. He listened to each word carefully, knowing exactly what she meant.
"I'll gather some Demons and prepare to attack another town." He moved away from her, ready to act.
"W-wait a second, Uroth." Lilliath stirred from the tree. "Do me a favor. Send only 15 at most. It shouldn't be too much to attack another town. And don't go yourself. I still need you here with me. There is much I have to catch you up on."
Uroth nodded once again. Then, he set off to do his Masters bidding.

The dark pressure was intensifying with every step Leon took. It wasn't unbearable, just annoying. It wasn't long until Leon could see two dark figures just outside of his field of vision. Time for a closer look... Leon closed his eyes as he called forth the magic within him. "I challeng the nature of law and reason... By summoning the power of the hawk I fortify my sight!" Leon's emerald green eyes turn yellow as his vision zoomed in on the figures. One he could identify as a dark elf, the other he wasn't sure. Leon wasn't great at reading lips but from what he could decipher, the tall shadow was the dark elf's servant. Not soon from observing this did the shadow vanish. Odd... Yet interesting... His eyes revert to normal as he made himself as visible as possible while approaching the elf...

"W-what the hell?" Lilliath stumbled backwards as she noticed another figure moving steadily towards her.
Who is brave enough to approach me at a time like this? She thought that for a moment to call Uroth back, but decided against it. He was already well on his way gathering demons. Besides, he wasn't needed against one so insignificant as this. Holding her sword out in front of her, Lilliath squinted to get a better look at the imbecile who would be brave enough to meet her head on.
She was completely and utterly surprised to find it was only a lone elf.
"Idiot! What are you doing out here? There are demons teeming all about in this area!" She called out to him.

Luke began to talk with the fellow knight. "well what about the western forest..is that over run?" he said. "Not from what i can tell..our scouts havent returned yet though." Luke nodded. "when were they sent out?" he said. "About two days ago.." The knight said sadly and Luke sighed. "well..the trip from here to the forest is about ten hours..and searching it would take about twelve...another ten back.." Luke frowned. "were loosing this battle...if we dont find something that can aid us this whole village will fall and i have nk knowledge of any other town out there.." He said.
The knight nodded. "i need to get back to my men.." Luke nodded. "alright..i understand..good luck" Luke shook the knights hand and watched as he walked toward one of the cottages.

Kikyo sat idly toying with a book she had pulled out of her bag. She was Flipping through the pictures in what looked like a spell book. It was, but it focused more on the effects of poisons, potions, and antidotes for both. She was still studying her magic, trying her best to improve her ability. She felt the light extra weight of the katana on her back and knew that she would have that for a while, longer than her magic would let her stay awake and helping.

Luke looked around for the girl that had met up with him and his troops. He saw her sitting down and reading from a book. "..hmm.." He walked around the village and snuck up behind her. "SO what are you reading?" he said as he stepped beside her.

Kikyo nearly yelped from being startled. "Huh? Oh...A...uh...potions book..." she said, deciding that lying wouldn't get her anywhere. "Um...So, what's your name?" she asked looking up at Luke and smiling a little. Her book sat discarded about a foot away from Kikyo's right hand. "I'm Kikyo."

Luke smiled. "My names Luke Katora and so you dont have to figure this out for yourself..im incharge of this encampment." Luke walked over and picked up the potion book. He handed it back to kikyo and looked at her curiously. "is there any potions in there for healing basic wounds? we have quite a bit of herbs that could be used.."

Kikyo shrugged a bit. "There is a few." she said, accepting her book back. "And thanks. Now let me see..." she began to flip through the pages, almost randomly. She then came to a section with strange letters. "Here we are." she said, looking for a certain potion.

Leon didn't faulter in his stride. "I am aware of the demon pressence... But to answer your question, I came here because I was curious..." Leon stopped, leaving a good many paces between him and the now not-so-mysterious source of dark energy. He eyed her sword for a moment then diverted his attention back to the dark elf with his signiture blank stare.

Luke looked around as he waited for Kikyo to find the potion. "if we can make enough potions we can heal our wounded much faster"he thought eagerly.

Kikyo found her potion. It was simple enough. A few simple herbs, some water, a toadstool, and a few tree leaves. She sighed silently, however, because of how much magic the potion took. To make enough bottles for healing the soldiers here she'd use up about half of her ability for the day. She skimmed for a possible short cut, but she was already using the short cut by cutting the recipe a little. Despite her better judgement, she said, "Found it."

Lilliath laughed. There was no way that one individual could be so stupid. He'd felt the large presence of a better magic and had come running despite the obvious consequences. The situation struck her as funny. She couldn't resist teasing the young elf.
"Tell me, boy." She smirked and lowered her sword. "You know the obvious saying of how curiosity kills its seeker. However, you were brave enough to challenge all of that. In fact, I'm quite surprised you were able to sense my presence in the first place."
That's right, she thought cooly to herself. He was able to sense my presence. That must mean I'm weaker than I thought. I could suck him dry with my eyes clothes and my hands tied behind my back. But there is no need to do that.
Lilliath replaced her sword in its sheath and turned her back towards him.
"I'm willing to be merciful just this once. You should leave her before he returns. If he were to find you lurking about here he would be unable to forgive himself. Uroth would surely rip you into shreds."

"Uroth?" Leon began, "Is that the name of the shadow with you earlier?" Leon almost felt sad. "The poor soul... Given in to the darkness... Unable to come back..." He paused for a moment. He wasn't looking for a fight, he was blantly curious how a single creature could extend such a pressence. He contemplated if he should leave or not... "Tell me... Do you have a name?"
