I have some friends who are choir nerds. I love it when we get to play with the choir. Doesn't happen very often but it's always fun when we do. ^^
Band + Choir = Great Performance
I think the reason they don't put the two things together is because the teachers don't always get along like their students would.
We ended up having a student conductor. He was wacky and joked a bunch on stage, which relaxed everyone and made the performance a lot better!
It's always good to have a confident student conductor. My friend did that once in middle school and she did a good job.
Not she and I are going to be running against each other for either drum major or assistant drum major. It would be really great if we both won though I'd probably be assistant drum major. Sounds like we might have some tough competition though.
Anyways that's off track. But yeah, our choir teacher and band teacher really don't get along. One is new and kind of full of himself and the other has been doing this so long it's practically all he knows how to do and he's still very humble about himself though he'll never give up a moment that he can say how great our band is.
Seeing as this forum has kind of died...RANDOM QUESTION TIME...assuming anyone drops in to read it.
Okay so if your band/choir/group/just yourself could travel anywhere to play in some big show or parade or something. Where/what would it be? Or as an alternative what cool places have you been for music related things.
If you're just a music fan and don't play/sing or anything then what cool music related things have you done? Like concerts, musical productions and things like that.
