Poem XIV Open Myself
I open my heart to the world today To what I see and is around me. To the ups and downs of the mountains I scale. To what I hear and where I fall to sleep.
But what I open my heart to today, May not be what I see every time. Sometimes it rains, And other times it pours. Sometimes it's sunny, And other times it's warm.
I cannot close my heart to the evils around, To what I have opened it for, To the wars and depressions that pass me by. To that a man's nature is not purely good.
But the world is not full of wrongs, As I found by what I have witnessed. Sometimes it's kind to the puppy, And feeds it as it starves. Sometimes it gives a warm home the cold, And knows what's best to be good.
I will not close off my mind from everything, To stop myself from seeing the nasty things, To abandon the good things in life as they come, To stop everything from invading my mind.
Oh no. I'd rather see everything, The good, And the bad. Then see nothing, And be blinded, To the pleasures, Of where I stand.

Poem XV Protected Innocence
Live a life of luxury, With gummy drops and teddy bears live a life of serenity and never know what's not fair
My angel, my sweet angel, I'll protect you from it all, my angel, my sweet angel, I'll be there when you fall.
Live a life for us, one with happiness and normality Live a life with us, with every bit of sanity
My Friend, my comrade, live like never done before, My Friend, my comrade, within our protective core.
And we'll put ourselves out for you and we'll keep the pain away, Because you don't have to bare What we go through every day.
Our depression is our own, and we'll steal it all away, Every fist that punches at you, Every notion that goes your way.
Innocent you will remain, and innocent you'll stay, For every day I wake and have Is to keep you that special way.
I wrote this poem as a fanfiction poem because of a fanfiction I read. The fanfiction made me realize that in Yu Yu Hakusho the gang just sort of protects Kuwabara. That inspired this poem and the fanfiction is called Out of the Loop.

Poem XVI
Cold and Restless
Hold me tight, and never let me go. Steal my breath, and I'll let you know. Fix my hair, move it to and fro. You touch my heart, I love it so.
I love you with all my heart. I love you because you're smart. I'll pin you to me with only one dart, And kiss you for every peace of art.
Warm me up when it rains, And comfort me through growing pains, My heart speeds the blood threw my veins, Like rushing traffic between all the lanes,
I love you with all my soul. I've loved you sense the days of ol'. You are my forever burning coal, With your warm gentle lull.
Burn me up from inside to out, And make me smile when I want to pout. You kiss my lips and change my route, Just because your touch makes me shout.
I love you and I want to say, That you make me feel that special way, Whether or not you stay, You will always be my day. I'm putting them up in sections now and this is in the love section with Innocent Love and Love's stages.

Poem XVII A love of Him
Shrill squeals, My stomach sounds. Shrill squeals, When no one's around.
I'm only reading, What I love. I'm only reading, What I see as from above.
I love the feeling he gives me, I will love him for eternity. I love the feeling he gives me, I adore every moment of we.
The rarity makes it special, Like an object of rare design. The rarity makes it special, Creating a yearning so divine.
I need him in my life, Even if he's only on once and again. I need him in my life, To be there when he can.
There's nothing that makes me happier, Then to see him on right then. There's nothing that makes me happier, Then to know I'm in his heart again.
All the time we spend, We tell each other this and that. All the time we spend, We never have a little spat.
Life gave him, To the world of now and then, Life gave him, To them.
But I'm stealing him, For my love and adoration I'm stealing him.

Poem XVIII
Puzzle There for an instant, Gone in a flash. Work with the wonders, And save something at last.
The work can be toilsome, But the relief is rewarding, Building the sky and letting fall, Corralling the dams of the celestial beings, Saving the peace of the one's that are living. Piecing together what was once whole. Saving the puzzle for when one grows old.
Live for the moment, Or live for the time, Save for the trip, Or spend every dime.
Life is a puzzle just waiting for space. Care and consideration with no hard feelings or remorse, Some cannot solve the puzzles of time, While others choose to ignore the solution.
Blinded by greed and coinage are they, Respecting not what the coins may say, Every time they spend without a pint of a thought, Only to gain again what was once lost.
Destinations are promised by those who never reach, Those who have ridden on the promise they were bound, Have found truth or falsehood in the puzzles solid ground, For those that find truth passage be toilsome, For solitude and reservation stole from others puzzle on theirs.
Not all pieces fit in a puzzle of time, Some see this advanced, While others deny, Steal from your neighbor what you have lost, That is mainly what has been taught. Not on purpose may one say, But on accident mayhaps.
Shall I undo your solid reservation? Or let you pass over your own creation? Nay say I the answer to this, Toil all night and may you be bliss. -Ale Tuesday, January 31, 2006
Ale: "The first part is about life We're only here for a moment and we're always trying to do something that will last past our time The second is my thoughts on such things. We're attempting the impossible like corralling celestial beings and trying to make peace thus it changes into building puzzles of our lives, making things fit together to understand it once we grow old like asking the question "Why was I alive?" Then there's a statement about how people live such as living for just now like you'll die tomorrow or living for the future The last part is that some people don't think about life and others think about it so much that they can't figure out how to live The first part is a connection to the puzzle from above I think and how people end up leaving the world. At the time my view of it. I have to change that second line The next stanza is the clearest of them all. It's saying that when you are blinded by money and you live for money you might stop respecting what the coins say meaning if you look physically on a coin it says "In God We Trust" and Liberty, these things are ignored by people when they get greedy about collecting what they're on which is totally a backfire of the message and thus they need more to gather what they lost by being greedy Then the next portion is the religion portion It doesn't strictly have to do with it but it is about that when I wrote it It's basically saying that those who don't try to succeed what they say are those who promise great wonders. The people who follow the promises either find their own form of truth or falsehood in life and the makings of life. For those who believe that what they've been told is true, passage is hard to come by and they're using other peoples lives to try to achieve their goal It's kind of like my way of saying that religion is bogus if you didn't learn it for yourself You can never be sure of the ground you stand on because you didn't know it yourself, you knew it by being told and trusting anothers word is a hard way to go The next part broadens the spectrum and states that everyone's lives is all one puzzle and not everyone's puzzle fits into that. Some of us see this as something higher power and others say that there's no way that we don't all belong alive etc. Then the statements change dramatically stating how we go about living. My statement is that we steal our lives from others to make our lives closer to perfect and that we depend on each other even though people would deny it, so perhaps it was an accident we depend on others Then the last part is stepping back form it all and asking if you would like me to unsteady your views on life and death or just let you find out for yourself. I say neither, and wish you good luck with lots of headaches in the end to be bliss So that was my mindset through the entire thing

Poem XIX Misery's Era
All that was green is now lost. All that was fresh is desert's toss. We sit and steal away the bred, From the lives that once were led. Dreaming of that marry time, When all was drink and all was wine. We wish for once again to flow, The music that was never slow, And to dance upon the rhyme, Of the poet who knew no time. We miss the lost generation, Watching The Fall's last penetration. Down the causeway out the back, It takes our wallets, then our sack. We have no food to eat now. Our drink has all gone to waist. And nothing more will help us, In this depression so great.

Poem XX Cold Rain
Our Days, Our countless days Showered by cold rains Coming down like sheets of walls As we huddle up and say,
"Play not in this rain fair child, For your time is young and life is new. Play not in this rain fair victim, For the movement could take to you."
All these times, All these ways, They lighten the path of the dance we play. Touch not your partners infectious hand, For a bruise could cause rebuke. Touch not the neighbor you now have, For their skin is not your own.
Live us well, or live us poor, The end result is all the war. Now march on to our first defeat, For reasons we may never meet.

Poem XXI
The Days Go By
The day you see the sky and night in one, the day goes by. The time you wake and sleep beneath the open sea of shine, the day goes by. The waking moment of your life to when your soul rests from it's run, the day goes by. The time you woke and walked to me, the day goes by.
The day you cried and died for me, The time of a star burning bright in the black abyss, The waking cry of infant pups, The time you spoke of me, the day goes by.
It all goes by like a string slipping through the fingers of Eternity. Across and through the thin grasp as you clutch at it. Never to hold still as the day goes by. Days go by.
Days of dazed dreams and dreary waiting touches. A touch so warm to refresh the freezing skin, A touch whose gentle silken feel can ease the heart, A day that passes in pain and longing.
Days of time better spent gazing at the clouds, Where nothing is wanted but to relax and cry. Where sobs cannot sever what ails the broken heart. Where the day seems to never want to end with the sun-crested sky. The days go by.
The day you woke and it was over, words echoing in your mind. The time the sky flared and flashed so vibrant did it strobe. The waking cry of a scared child climbing into their parents reach. The time you sang out in horror and felt childish, the day goes by.
Days go by. So do feelings, So does time, So does life.
It all goes by, Slow or fast, Just right or in the blink of an eye, Just learn to let it go.

Poem XXII
Cloud
Cloud, Form me a mental picture. Create shapes in my mind. I search for a meaning to you That only I can see.
Cloud, Tell me a riddle Of alligators, women, and hands. I'm waiting for a sign That I can use on my behalf.
Cloud, Show me my mind For I can never understand it. It's so complex I forget the thought just as fast as it can form.
Cloud, Simple and complex, I'm looking deep for the meaning Of the pictures you send forth. Make it deep and pretty.
Cloud, Am I look deep enough? Or too far have I strayed Into the mix of atoms Past high noon?

Poem XXIII Math
All of it is calculated, It's there in laws and Theories. Everything is mathematically done. Numbers over others. Symbols creating problems. Ways to do this and that. Proof of how things work. Everything backed up by the base. Building higher and higher into the sky. The birds are now lines and degrees. They become figures for calculations. Beauty is measured by meters and angles. Nothing is left untouched by it's claws. The claws of Mathematical Theorems. Poem XXIV Carriage Ride
The slop of that hill there, you see? The slope of that hill was calculated by me!
But did you see the beauty? That was witnessed by me. Did you see the fox on it's back? Or the tree?
Why yes I saw the tree, it was 9 meters high you see! The shadows gave that to me!
Yet you did not witness the glory, the glory of the strong tree. What you saw was but a figure, calculated by thee.
Oh yes, I saw the beauty! It was ten times the beauty of the other tree ten meters from thee!

Poem XXV
Connections
Approached by the unknown to find the feeling mutual from what holds the cards. A deck of several cards, Each a different texture within those hands, Take a card for you will see, A meaning to a face, A face to a name. For once a face matched with name, It means something.
Live and love, Love and learn, Learn and live. A loop of several thousand endings, And even more beginnings. What is more important though? To live you must love, Once you love you learn, Once you learn you can live once more. Forever will it continue. Until it is stilled by an outside force, Nothing can stay still for long And not for long will things, In anything. -Andrea Lynn Edwards Friday, September 16, 2005

Poem XXVI
The Music
Dance To the beat that guides you Calls you, And pulls you from the chair.
Swing With the one that makes you, Creates you, A happy blissful eternity.
Tap With the wrap that holds you, Confines you, And makes you feel secure and safe.
Watch The shrew that captures you, Ensnares you, And makes you scream and laugh.
Live The life that knows you, Answers you, When you ask Who am I?
