Kick met Nightsky's midsection, head was led by Rock, and Nightsky's face met the turnbuckle! He gazed off, slightly dizzy from the headblow.

From here, The Rock attempted to roll up Nightsky with a school boy -- FEET ON THE ROPES!

Travis was dazed, but not so much that he couldn't keep fighting. He struggled and squirmed as the ref began to count. At about the 2 and a half mark, Travis didn't kick out.
Instead he squirmed, utilizing his flexibility to slide his shoulders out far enough to get one of them up.

Rock glared at the referee for the close two count before looking down at Travis. With the man still down, The Rock looked to keep pressure by trying to fire off a few of those shakyshaky stomps right into the shoulder and ribs of Nightsky.

Travis took the blows, gritting his teeth in pain with the connection of each one. After a couple moments of this assault, he would try and roll underneath the ropes to the apron, hoping the Rock would back off long enough for Travis to regain his composure.

The Rock let Nightsky exit the ring and he turned to the crowd, bowing and raising his hands.
" Thank you, thank you. "
Afterward, he slid out of the ring, backing up a few steps, stalking Travis .. before moving up, attempting to fire a hard elbow down into the man's sternum!

Nailing the elbow, The Rock was pretty sure of himself that he had this in control. So with that reasoning, he grinned wide and stepped back .. looking over to a bottle of water at the commentator's desk. Taking that, he'd unscrew the cap and take a small swig from it, swishing it in his mouth for a bit. Setting the bottle down, Rock returned over to Travis and attempted to just spit that whole mist of water into his face! It was an utter show of disrespect from The Great One, who he felt, was disrespected by Nightsky in the first place.

Travis was able to recover from the elbow to the midsection at this point-- after all, it was just an elbow. He was preparing for an offense when a mist of water was sprayed directly into his face. He stopped for a moment, completely dumbfounded.
"Seriously?"
He asked, staring the Rock down. Travis knew this was a sign of disrespect, but what the hell did the Rock exactly think he'd gain from that?

Probably should've used Gatorade to sting his eyes. The distraction worked, and he shrugged, looking to snap a hard right hand into the side of Travis' face!

BAM! Right hand from The Great One snapped off into Travis' face. Rolling back into the ring, The Rock attempted to hook the opponent up, perhaps going for a Vertical Suplex!

Travis was drilled with the suplex! He kicked around a bit, writhing in pain and letting out a few snarls.

With the kickout, The Rock was half-surprised that Nightsky was staying in this. Looking to keep the pressure on, he attempted to sit Travis up, trying to cinch in a rear chinlock to wear him down some!
