Tilting her head, Mikoto responded, "Err... I guess so."
She went over to the rack and slipped an apron on before going back to the station. Picking up a measuring cup, she measured the amount of flour, leveling off the top for an accurate measure.
Picking up the sifter and staring at the apparatus for a moment, she shrugged and decided to wing it. She poured the flour over in the sifter and began to shake it. Flour flew up from the item and got on the woman's face.
"Ptoo! Ptoo!" she coughed and hacked as she tried dusting her face. "Okay... that didn't work. Aki-chaaaan~ You do this. I'll just measure stuff."

A sweat dropped as she watched Mikoto sift the flour. She wasn't good in cooking either. "I-I'll try..." She said her voice quivered as she took the sifter then placed the it on a bowl. She sighed then started sifting slowly.
The flour successfully fell on the bowl without any lumps. She sighed then smiled. "What's next Mi-chan?" She asked, glancing at her.

Watching the other two trying to make a cake, Circe stood quietly and brooded in the corner. Before Urahara had died, he had once taught Circe to make one but she had forgotten after all this time. Looking then to a window, the small bells tinkling gently in her hair, Circe allowed her mind to wander a bit. "I still can't beliee that Mikoto-taichou's making me wear this idiotic outfit... I'll get her for this later." Circe thought, her face pulling into a slight pout.

Taking a finger and scanning over the recipe, Mikoto gave Akino the next step.
"It says here to add the flour and sugar together," she replied. "Easy enough."
Before continuing, she went back to her fukutaichou who had a doom aura around her, signaling that the young woman was brooding. With a giggle, Mikoto glomped the girl.
"Circe-chaaaan!" she sang as she huggled the white-haired Loli. "Come help us with the cake!"
Before she even had a chance to respond, Circe was being dragged into the kitchen behind Mikoto.

Akino nodded then started pouring the sugar on the bowl. "Piece of cake!" she grinned as she mixed the ingredients using a whisk.
"What's next?" She glanced then stared at the poor Circe. She dropped a sweat then smiled sheepishly. "Mi-chan?"

I am Hikaru Koushun ~ The Crimson-Eyed Shinigami"You need the eggs!!" Hikaru popped her head up beside Akino from nowhere and rested her chin on the counter. She looked up at her cutely, her eyes slightly wide while she looked her over."M... moe... moe moe..." she chirped. A flash suddenly went off, as Hikaru had taken a picture of her captain. She grinned proudly, holding up the camera for her to see. "It's a cam-a-ree!" she exclaimed, pointing at the device. "It's from the world of the living!! Now we can take pick-chures!" Her expression suddenly became dark. "Ha-neechan will definitely love to see this strange tool..."` Allow my flame to light your way, and burn those that dare to oppose us

Mikoto was just about to respond to Akino when Hachibantai's fukutaichou popped out of nowhere. The scientist was startled at the camera flash.
"Uwah!" she yelped, letting go of Circe to rub her eyes. "Hika-chan!! When'd you get here and where's Haseo-kun?"

Akino jerked the bowl accidentally, but she caught it before it fell. "Ayii!" she exclaimed, gripping the bowl tightly. Her expression was shocked and scared.
She glanced slowly at her fukutaichou then jumped backwards, yelping. "H-HIKARU!" The sudden flash made her cover her eyes, until she heard the word 'moe'.
". . . "
Akino stared at the camera, she was frozen. "I-I'm not a moe moe!" She detested as her cheeks turned red. "P-picture?" she stammered, leaning on the wall. She imagined what would Haseo's expression be if he saw the pictures of her wearing a maid outfit, she also imagined if everyone saw that picture.
She was chibi when she coiled. "I'm a violation to the Gotei 13." she said gloomily with her doomed aura. She was quivering. "No one must see me, I must run away and change my name. Dye my hair if needed."

Hikaru looked at Mikoto, blinking innocently. "I came just now, and snuck in here to surprise Aki-neechan." She blinked when she mentioned her brother. "He's already seated at one of the tables... he's your first, uhh... consumer!"
She hugged Akino by the waist, wailing childishly when she said she would dye her hair. "Nooo! Don't dye your hair...!" she exclaimed. "If you do, I'll... I'll... I'll cut my hair and dye it too...!"

"H-Haseo's here?" She mumbled nervously, hugging her knees. She was quivering now, as if she was in a cold place.
"heh...heh...heh...heh..." Her eye twitched. "M-Miko...Please let me stay in this kitchen... forever..." she said in monotone, almost soulless because of her nerves.
"No Hikaru, stay here and be the next hachibantai taichou... train well, as I rot here in this kitchen." She uttered senseless words as if she was hopeless. "My world now is doomed..."
Akino leaned on the corner of the wall surrounded by her gloomy aura.

Mikoto sighed and rolled her eyes at the woman. She went over to Akino and lifted the woman up, dragging her to the kitchen door and pushing her out.
"You... Go!" the scientist chuckled as she shoved the moe maid out to their first customer.
She closed the door to the kitchen and peeked out of the order window.
"Don't come back unless you have an order~!" she sang, he violet eyes sparkling.

"E-EH!?" Akino's eyes widened as Mikoto lifted her. "Mi-Mi-chan what are you trying to do!?" She asked, chibi clinging on the scientist's arm. "N-No, Let me bake... LET ME BAKE!" She exclaimed, hugging Mikoto's arm tightly.
"MI-MI-MIKOTO!"
Akino was shoved outside of the door then froze there, hugging the tray. She gulped then saw Haseo seated, reading the menu. Her face was all red and her anxious feeling made her reiatsu spike warmly. The temperature started rising, she covered her face using the tray then started approaching Haseo.

Mikoto covered her mouth with hand and giggled.
Turning back around, she stared at the unmade cake and a whimper escaped her. She was used to experimenting and making odd concoctions, but cake recipes were absolute!
She went back to the counter and frowned a little before attempting to finish the cake.
After a few minutes, she had a mixture completed and she was pouring it into the pans and sliding them into the oven. All that was left to do was wait.
