As Mas entered the bathroom, Tal was in the midst of removing the rings he kept braided into his hair. It hadn't been until the mage first soaked his head in teh water and ran his fingers through his hair that he realised he hadn't bothered to take them out the night before. Having such an ornate and complex weave of hair and rings was a luxury Taliesin could only afford because he was a mage. Running his hands over his hair, simple spells untangled his hair and caused the rings to come away effortlessly; Tal couldn't imagine how many servants or hours it would take to set up his hair every morning if he didn't use magic.
Setting the dozen or so rings to one side on the rim of the bath Tal then turned his attention to Mas. With a quiet sigh and slight shake of his head Tal slouched lazily in teh bath, slowly moving to comply with Mas's directions. "You need to work on your seduction techniques Mas. Being experienced or skilled is one thing, but making yourself sound like a bath house whore, it ruins the mood a touch?" Tal stifled a slight yawn as he lay beside Mas, the warm bath waters making him feel slightly lethargic as he stretched his tired muscles in teh water.
"So you're going to attend to me are you? Is this another effort to get on top? Lull me into a false sense of security and then ravage me under the guise of a thorough cleaning?" Well that was certainly what had been going through Tal's mind when he had been thinking about the bath. Smirking he leaned against Mas, pressing the full length of his body against his lovers and planting a soft kiss against his neck, while a hand lazily stroked Mas's leg.

Mas did not enter the bath water immediatly. Though he had to admitt that he was eager to do so. Seeing Talisin there was just such a warm invintation. Mas forced himself to tend to selecting a few jar's of soft soap and foaming lotion for the purpose of the bath. He didn't want to just grab willy nilly and end up mixing two scents that would not complment each other after all!
Mas carried his selected items to the pool and quickly joined his lover in the hot waters after setting them along the side ine asy reach. Mas tilted his head though, and listened to Talisin's barbed admonishment that came shortly afterwards. He was able to surpress the cringe that wanted to crinkle his shoulder blades thankfully. Was he really sounding that crude? Talisin most likely cared nothing for lewd behavior. Well that made sense, Talisin was a very refined male. Actually...this felt a bit more shameful when he thought about it. Was he so uneducated in the manner of sex that he came across as crude? That was a very disturbing thought!
"Mmmm." Mas hummed softly as he reached to gently place his hands upon Talisin's shoulders "No no. That was not my intention." Mas gently spoke as he found Talisin leaning against him. For being admonished so sharply, Mas had to admitt that Talisin was not acting much like his mood had been ruined. He felt the light touch upon his leg and Mas could not help but smile slightly. Insatiable. Talisin was just... a hungry aggressive male and Mas could find no fault in that. Only admiration. Mas tilted his head so he could echo the kiss of his neck by placeing one of his own upon Talisin's.
"I merely wish to play some...attention on you." Mas murmured softly. Of course, he was not about to push Talisin away to follow through with his claim. With Talisin so close how could he resist? Mas peered over the edge of Tal's shoulder so he could watch his hand reach and stroke through the long white hair that spilled over his lovers back. "Though I suppose I was slightly entertaining the hopes of being able to take at least a small amount of advantage of you. How could I not be tempted? Just look at you..." Mas lifted his other hand so he could place it upon Tal's hip and stroke at the wet flesh with the tips. "How could I possibly give this up?"

Letting out a bemused sigh Taliesin gently stroked the side of Mas's face. "Mas... You'll never achieve much in life by being meek. Not that I'm complaining exactly, I've no qualms about being in control." Tal moved his arms and wrapped them about Mas's midsection, his hands resting comfortably on the other mages rear and giving it a quick, firm squeeze. "Still, if you make it too easy for me to bully you I might start to get bored?" Tal playfully nipped at Mas's ear, then pulled him close and soon had his lover positioned comfortably across his lap.
Tal let his hands wander up and down Mas's back and sides, the mages fingers delicately caressing his lovers soft skin. Tal teased Mas's ear with a mix of soft kisses and gentle bites, pausing sporadically to whisper compliments and admiration of Mas's beauty and form. Eventually he placed his hands on Mas's shoulders and pushed his lover back, just enough to take in all his face. That handsome visage Tal could stare at all day, the only thing more captivating than Mas right then, was that singular expression when Mas was overcome by the throws of passion. Just picturing that expression brought Tal to arousal.
"So Mas what will it be? Will you give into temptation and take advantage of me as I lay here, too lethargic from the nights games and the hot water to fend you off? Or would you rather submit to my tender ministrations and all the joys and pleasures I can elicit from your willing body?" Tal lay back into teh waters once he finished, letting himself sink up to his neck, his hands sliding down from Mas's shoulders to eventually hold his lovers hands in a light grip; silently awaiting Mas's answer.

Oh...now that truly did hurt a bit. Meek? Mas's blue eyes flickered away so he could consider Talisin's words without being distracted by his handsome features. Still... The mages words struck a small string within MasD'aun. Meek. Had he really become so soft? All for the sake of physical comfort and companionship? Before he had met Talisin... If he had never become lovers with this beautiful and skillful male. What would he be doing right now? His mother would be dead... He'd be ruling Barrith. He'd have swept the House clean and he would have had himself established strongly as the center of power. Mas drew his eyes back to Talisin, even as his lover warned him of possible boredom and pulled his unresisting form into his lap. MasD'aun's mind was honestly leaning away from lust and seduction for perhaps the first time since he had met with Talisin. He could not deny the fact that Talisin could play with his body as skillfully as a spider navigated it's own web. He issued soft gasps and sighs at each caress and play of Talisin's lips. Despite his previous intentions of being the subduer in the bath. It still seemed as if Talisin kept some measure of control. Even in his coy offer. That tempting for Mas to take control, there was still a measure of temptation for Mas to eagerly and willingly submit to his lovers intentions. Meek.... Mas watched as Talisin leaned back and he felt the slender fingers under the water gripping his own hands. Mas gently squeezed Talisin's hands as he considered his situation. He had been allowing himself to be distracted far too much. He was, perhaps, even losing that strong assure that had first impressed Talisin back in the library. If he truly wished to keep Talisin as his lover, he could not allow himself to become boring. Mas's lips split into a thin one sided grin and he shifted his grip underwater. His fingers slipped from Talisin's hands and down to lightly circle his wrists. As his answer, Mas leaned himself forwards and slipped his body forwards to gently straddle Talisin's hips. His hands pulled insistently upon Talisin's wrists to raise them over his head, thus allowing Mas to transfer both wrists into the long fingered grasp of one hand. "Well. When you put it that way...I suppose now would be a very good time to show what I've learned. As well as explore a bit myself. I wouldn't want you to get bored with me...and I would rather be a lover who can equally give as I may receive. It can get tedious being the one doing the work all the time, yes?" Mas spoke in a low murmur as his free hand slipped under the water to begin stroking over Talisin's chest. Those long fingers of his dragged down over the firmness of Talisin's belly and to his thigh. Yes...he could do this. He could be that sort of lover. He could be the lover that was just as willing to take the first kiss as to receive it. He could be the lover that would be able to pin Talisin beneath him and work on making the other drow's body tremble under the touch of soft yet firm fingers. Just as easily as he could rescind his place and allow Talisin to do the same to him. Mas's blue eyes brightened a touch as he leaned in to place his lips upon Talisin's neck in a hungry and rather eager kiss. He wanted to do this. It wasn't as if he had not thought of it before after all. To be able to show Talisin a glimpse of the fire of desire he possessed. Submitting was only half of being a lover. There was also this. There was also the aggression and the passion of taking the initiative. Bathing and cleaning up would surely not be happening for a while within those waters. Not now that Mas had kindled a different sort of fire at the prompting and suggestion of Talisin. he wanted to show the male exactly how deep his lust for the other reached. Perhaps he would not be able to do so in a single bath..but he could most definetly put his hands and lips to work. He could certainly enjoy Talisin in his 'weakened' state and take full advantage of the opportunity before him...oh..yes indeed he could... Now... where was that soap?

Laying nearly fully submerged, Tal looked to be almost asleep as if dozing in the warm waters, but from half closed eyelids he watched Mas with calculating eyes. His expression remained unchanged as Mas shifted his grip and held Tal's arms over his head, it wasn't until the other mage started to speak that Tal's eyes opened up and he seemed to perk up. As he listened, a lopsided grin grew across Taliesin's face, his eyes filling with an eager light, his body shifting slightly to make himself comfortable under Mas. "Well now, this should be a treat. I'm eager to see just how closely you were paying attention."
As Mas's fingers dragged down along his chest, Tal let out a soft murmur that almost became a purr when the hand reached his thigh. Stirring from his lethargy, Tal sat up in the bath, but only to make himself a little more comfortable and avoiding potentially drowning, he made no effort to pull back or give any resistance to Mas's ministrations. His arms hung limply in Mas's grasp, though no other part of Tal could be said to be limp, his whole body felt thought and eager to explore this new game.

((Akki believes this is a wise suggestion, as he feels he is at a limit for PG-13 content now XD Mas will not behave anymore for me. Sooo...))
Had they intended to take breakfast together? By the time Mas dragged himself from the magically heated waters his stomach warned him it was far too late for such a meal. No matter. He had indulged in a different sort of hunger, and that appitite had been fully nourished. Well...as fully as it could be. He was certain that given enough time that hunger would return more surely then his stomachs own ache. Mas felt warm and so very satisfied as he dried himself and collected his robes from their shelf. He lingered over his vanity and considered the bottles and jar's laid out upon it. If he were to take the time to apply his usual make up and accessories, hours would pass. He did not wish to make Talisin wait on him. Besides...the point of prettying himself up was mostly for Talisin's benefit, and Talisin was already there with him.
Forgoing the primping routine, MasD'aun settled for merely tieing his hair back with a ornate hair pin and slipping a few of his favorite amulet's over his neck. He turned towards Talisin only as he was slipping his silver finger caps into place. It had been easier for him to dress if he had avoided glanceing at the other male. had he done otherwise he surely would have found dressing a very slow progress as he admired the others slender frame and masculine beauty. "I fear breakfast is long past due now, and we've gotten no progress in settling you in Talisin. Shall I have the servants bring us something a bit more...mobile? That we might eat light as I show you around?"

Out of the bath Taliesin took his time drying off and dressing, after all he was in no rush to be anywhere and he still felt a little lethargic from lying in the hot bath. Once dressed he recovered his assortment of rings and began enchanting the well rehearsed spells to shape his hair back into it's usual intricate weave, the rings fitting into their accustomed place on his head as his hair braided itself. The whole process took only a few moments and Tal had practiced it so often that he could cast the spells in his sleep.
As Mas turned towards him, Tal was already moving towards the other Drow, he bent over and kissed Mas on the cheek and took the opportunity to glance over his lovers shoulder at the mirror and make sure everything was in place. "Breakfast? Then what did we eat before our bath? Perhaps you're trying to fatten me up so no one else will have me?" Tal teasingly nipped at Mas's ear, then stood up and stretched his body before letting his hands rest on Mas's shoulders. "Lets see, I've satisfied my gluttony with our morning meal, the bath pretty much covers sloth, lust, pride and envy. I think I'll wait on wraith in the hopes of finding someone worthy of suffering it, or in case I get bored in the evening. So I guess that just leaves... greed?"
Tal's eyes narrowed slightly as he smiled at Mas's reflection in the mirror his hands gently massaging his lovers shoulders. "I do believe you offered me my own suite of rooms and a tour of those fabulous vaults you keep telling me about. I've certainly been enjoying the carnal pleasures of being your lover, but lets see what other perks there are to having your bed."

The kiss was accepted with a appreciative smile. mas did adore the attention that Tal paid to him. And to have him do so now, with him in less then his usual primping, it proved to be a encouragement.
"Hmm. We did." Mas agreed as he leaned a bit towards Tal's presence. "I simply wished to ensure you were satisfied. It would make me a poor host if your basic needs were not being met. If your going to protect me I must ensure you are happy." Fatten him up! Ah ha! "Ah no. To ruin this perfection would surely be a sin." Mas murmured before shivering at Tal's playful n**. His hand lifted with the intention of tracing his fingertips over the side of Talison's neck before he had a chance to stand back and stretch. Being so near to the handsome mage, it was constant temptation to reach out and touch him. One that mas hoped prehaps Tal shared with him when the other mage placed his hands upon his shoulders.
Such a clever mind...Mas's blue eyes gleamed in admiration at the smooth tongue that he was certain could even manipulate a priestess with ease. Mas stared at Tal's reflection before him even as he rubbed on his loosened shoulders. "Yes. I did offer you that. And I shall certainly follow through on everything I have offered." Mas turned then, gently pulling free of Tal's grip, but only so he could gesture torwards the door in invintation. "Come." He coaxed his lover while moving to the door.
"The top floor is reserved only for the Matron. We are on the second floor." He began to explain as he stepped out into the hall. With a gesture, he motioned down a ways to the right of his room. "There are a total of eight suites on this floor. They are meant for use of only family members. But as Micarreth is gone and 'family' is limited to myself and two children I have discarded this tradition. That room down there I have given to Treil'Nolu. I wanted her close to discourage Micarreth from trying anything. Now that you are here I could request she move to another suite, as her's is the one joined by the door to my bedroom. " he paused and turned to glance at Tal then. "Of course if you desire more privacy there are the other four..well..five suites. Micarreths suites have not been cleaned out quite yet."

As Tal followed Mas from the room, he reached out and gently placed his hand against Mas's elbow for just a moment. Out in the hallway he held loosely took hold of his right wrist in his left hand, listening to Mas's explanation. Afterwards Tal looked in the direction Mas had pointed and ponder his options until he wrinkled his nose in a sour expression and shook his head. "No, I think we'll leave that Treil'Nolu woman where she is." The thought of sleeping in the same bed used by that woman was just repulsive. For now Tal intended to stay as far from her as he could. Thinking of beds, Tal began to wonder where Mas had consummated his deal with Treil'Nolu, but his mind reeled at the thought. As a mage he knew all too well there were some things one was just better off not knowing, or even considering.
Shrugging the thoughts aside, Tal started to slowly pace around Mas as he spoke again. "So long as it's nearby and spacious I'll be content. Besides, I'm a wizard. If I'm in that much of a rush to get to your room I'll enchant myself a door. As for privacy... You've seen me laid bare, we've done thins together I've done with no other. What could there be that I would keep private from you, in your own home?"
Smiling softly, Tal reached out slowly and extended a single finger, letting it drop slowly so that it briefly contacted Mas's hand and trailed down it's length before falling away. "Why don't you lead me to the nearest free room and we'll have a look around?"

Each touch, gentle and soft, threatened to chase away the thoughts from Mas's mind. The nearness of Tal to his own person seemed to...What was the word? how could he possibly describe this sense of calm that had settled over him? Mas's blue eyes slipped to look to Tal's own handsome face. Goddess, this man. He calmed his very soul it seemed. He could excite him and fill him with such passion and energy. Now though he was causing him to feel so relaxed and at ease. He did not want Tal to remove his hand from his wrist. He wanted more of that soft and gentle contact. Perhaps he ought to return it? A touch for a touch? Something in his chest clenched tightly at the thought, in a manner that made Mas feel that every second now was somehow being wasted.
"Of course Talisin." Mas smoothly replied while the mage circled around him. He felt a..foolishness really. All his concern with how near Talisin could be...his childish and one tracked mind was leading him to think so little of anything else but being near to him. To be able to touch him..to kiss him... There was more though. So much more that could come of this. Still, he could not help the darkening of his cheeks. He'd done things with him that he had with no other? Honestly? "Ah, you flatter me Talisin. You make a excellent point though. I should be thinking more to your needs then my own though." Mas lifted one of his own silver tipped hands, and reached to gently stroke the tips across Talisin's cheek. Ah! Such a beautiful face! How he had managed to survive these many long months without seeing him...it truly was a mystery to him. Mas did not believe he would ever tire of looking upon him...hearing that silken voice...gazing into those intelligent eyes...
It was that single finger that drew Mas out of the spiral of admiration his mind had begun to sink into. His lips broke into a smile, and he gave his silver haired head a faint nod. Emboldened a little, Mas twisted his hand upwards in a open gesture towards Talisin's arm, so he could attempt to gently slide it under the forearm of the other as he stepped forwards. So that he could lead him towards the vacant rooms and be able to indulge in the touch of the male that had come to mean far more to him then he ought to have.
Mas lead Tal down the hall in the direction opposite of Triel-Nolu's granted room. As the spire itself was circular, the hall curved slightly, and in due time a door became present. Mas stopped before it and gave the slightly tarnished silver spider webbing emboss and dismayed look. While it was true the suite had gone empty since his mothers ascension to the throne, it embarrassed him that the silver webbing detail had been ignored by the cleaning servants and allowed to take on a dull black gleam. Mas pushed open the door, and stepped into the room properly. His head tilted to take in the room..and he felt a sense of relief that the room at least was not coated in dust or in a disgraceful state. The suite itself was rather similar to Mas's own rooms. One large bedroom dominated the suite. A four post bed stood naked on a upraised section of flooring. The silver posts were sadly in the same unpolished state as the webbing on the door. One entire wall was dedicated to dressers, wardrobe closets, and shelving. A full length silver mirror, as unpolished as the rest of the silver in the room, reflected Mas's frowning features in a black gloom from it's frame set in the center of the wall. The rest of the room was terribly bare, save for a pair of silver candelabras' that were missing the magical glow globes and a wide personal fireplace complete with a light filtering screen. Mas only gave the room a cursory look over, before he crossed to one of the pair of doors set in the wall to the right of the entrance. Opening it revealed a room stripped completely bare. Stone shelves lined three of the four walls. "Ah..the study...It seems mother had everything removed from this room a long while ago. If you care for it I can have it furnished in any way you see fit Talisin. I am certain the items are stored somewhere. The other room should be the bathing chambers..."

Standing in the hallway, Tal returned Mas's gaze, his eyes taking in all the details of the face before him. Oh the things he had planned. Mas was almost too good to be true, practically a boon from the Dark Mother herself. Not that long ago it seemed his plans were crumbling about him, now he stood on the precipice of something far greater than he had hoped for. Tal made a note to offer up a particularly generous sacrifice to Lollth when he was next in the city, in thanks of the good fortune that seemed to shadow his every decision.
When Mas's hand caressed his cheek, Tal's face twitched slightly and a grin appeared, despite his best efforts to remain stoic. If only Mas knew what thoughts were going through Tals mind right then, how would the poor boy have reacted? The thought of sharing them with Mas latter, again broke Tal's resolve as the grin widened. Reaching up, Tal took hold of Mas's hand and pressed it more firmly against his cheek for a moment before releasing him and pulling away to resume the tour.
Taking the offered arm Tal followed along with Mas, his head leaning slightly against the other Drow as he took in the layout of the building. While Tal had often visited the house in the past, he had actually seen little of it, usually just the reception hall, one of the sitting rooms, the dining hall and of course Mas's suite. His time here was nearly always devoted to Mas, so he'd never had an opportunity to go exploring in the past, not to mention he had some concern over running afoul of Micarreth or Mas's crazy old Matron. Tal supposed there was little to fear now, with Micarreth gone and Mas ruler of the house in all but name.
When they arrived at the room, Tal slowly walked about it examining the size and feel of the space. While he had a keen eye for details when it came to occult texts or arcane artifacts, Tal had come from a House that was a lot poorer and less influential then Mas's so his sensibilities weren't as refined as Mas's. Tal didn't perceive the same faults as Mas did, silver was silver, did it matter how well polished it was? He was concerned over the practical elements, like was there enough space for his needs, was it close enough to Mas's suite and could it be secured to his slightly paranoid standards.
Chewing lightly on his lower lip, Tal nodded slowly to himself before moving over to Mas, peeking over his lovers shoulder into the bare study. Humming to himself, Tal wrapped his arms about Mas's midsection and rested his chin on the other Drows shoulder. "It'll do nicely, dear Mas. A little reorganising is in need. That bed will have to go. I'll just need a small one that'll fit comfortably into the old study." Tal made a vague had gesture dismissing the old bed and pointed towards the bare study. "I want to turn the main room into a large study. I'll be spending as many nights with you as I can, the small bed is just in case I'm working late or feel the need for a short nap."
Tugging lightly on Mas, Tal led them back towards the center of main room. "Once the bed is gone, we could place a large desk on that raised portion of the floor and a comfortable reading chair. Then move some book shelves and cabinets over onto that side and maybe another small table against teh far wall." As he spoke Tal made small general hand gestures pointing at the different parts of the room, but always kept at least one arm about Mas, keeping him held close. "So what do you think, is that all right by you?"

Mas gave Talisin his moment to inspect the room. There were other suites after all and there was no need to rush his lover in picking one out. Though Mas was discounting the nearness of this room to his own. His own thoughts were temporarily wrapped up in all the small things that were out of place. The unpolished silver. The bare and undecorated surfaces. The simple lack of basic furniture. Yes, he knew there was no need to keep the room furnished. But his mothers single minded desire to make the house as bare and boring was really far too obsessive. They had the wealth! They should have been enjoying it! Not ferreting away the coins and furniture as if some thief was going to break in and steal it all away. Honestly. When was the last time a thief had been successful in their attempt? Not In MasD'aun's life time surely!
It was the pair of arms wrapping about his middle that broke through Mas's brooding. He did not look down, nor did he give a start of surprise. He knew who was holding him, and he felt nothing but calm assurity that there was no threat to be found in Talisin. Mas lifted one of his hands, and rested it comfortably upon the curve of those arms. He listened, with no small amount of satisfaction, as Talisin accepted the room. It pleased him terribly to have Tal so near to his own rooms. After such a long time apart, Mas doubted he would care to have Talisin too far away for the next few days. In addition to tht was his fretting over Micarreth of course. His brother would still have access to the House until such a time that Mas could go through and change all of the special wardings so the fail safes would no longer recognize Micarreth. Ah! He'd have to include Talisin as well then! For he surely would not want any ill to befall his lover! Oh..and the babies. It would probably be wise to include them too. He really did not want to have to make more.
Mas turned with the gentle tug, and allowed himself to be redirected by Tal and guided back into the center of the main room. He was listening to his lover. Truely he was. He was not just comfortably leaning into that arm. His eyes were not just following the gesture of Tal's hand so he could admire at just how graceful and sure each motion was. Mas kept his single hand upon Tal's arm that held him about the waist. He did not want that hand removed. Not yet. He wanted this closeness so terribly. It was as distracting as a overwhelming pain, but so much more enjoyable.
"I think your ideas are reasonable and I can have all that you wish done by tonight. My bed will always be open and welcome to you, reguardless of the time of night you may wish to use it." Ah! He really did welcome the assumed presence of Talisin in his bedchambers on a nightly basis. It was not as if he'd be taking anyone else to his bed anymore. It really was a queer thought really. Mas had never before taken anyone to his bed before he met Talisin. Were it not for the single night spent with Tri-No, he could have easily claimed he had only been with Talisin intimately. Well... Tri-No really had only been a business transaction. Did she really count? It wasn't as if Talisin would have agreed to asking for Lloth's blessing just so Mas could have a puppet female to place the mantel of Barrith upon. Hnn. That reminded him... He ought to show Talisin the spawn...
He really did not wish to ruin the mood yet though. So he merely leaned back into Talisin's arm and let his eyes rove over the room. "I will have some servants remove the bed while we continue with the tour then. And have them bring a suitable desk and chair to replace it. Perhaps some fortified tables as well and candle sticks? Or do you prefer glow globes?"

Tal smiled softly and placed a quick kiss against Mas's neck. "Why the rush? I'm not going to blow away on the next breeze and besides, if I'm going to be living here for the foreseeable future, I'd like to take my time in choosing the decor. You hardly plan on throwing in the first few desks and chairs you happen to find lying around do you?"
For a moment a troubled look passed over Tal's face. Oh, he adored the fact Mas was so eager to please and carry out everyone of Tal's whims, and that was fine, in private. However Tal would have to do something about it, there were public appearances to consider. It wasn't something Tal was looking forward to, but he'd have to have a word with Mas about it sooner rather than later, especially if they were going to be spending so much time together now.
Forcing the thoughts from his mind Tal pressed his face against the nape of Mas's neck and savoured his lovers scent. Tal honestly preferred Mas this way, natural and real, not primped, doused in scents and covered in make up. Still such things pleased Mas, so Tal never mentioned it, it just meant he was more appreciative for the times Mas was just Mas.
Finally pulling himself back to teh matter at hand Tal released Mas from the hold, but then linked his arm with Mas again. "Come on then, we had better continue on with the tour. Not that I'm not enjoying holding you so close, but there'll be time enough for such pleasures this evening and I'm eager to see the rest of the House."

Mas felt a distinct sense of embaressment at the gentle chiding he recieved from Talisin. He honestly needed to get better control of himself. He was in such a...rush..a hurry to make things happen immediatly. he wanted Talisin settled in. To take root, so that breeze he spoke of would have no chance of brushig him away. "I know I know." He replied after the warmth of the kiss to his neck had faded to only a pleasent lingering sense. His attempt to calm himself was momentarily shaken as he saw the troubled look pass over the mages face. What? Had he done something wrong? Had he taken too light the others words? Had he offended?
If he had, Talisin must not have thought much of it. mas felt a curling warmth in his belly when Tal pressed his face into the nape of his neck There was something just so...enjoyable about him. it was more then just the sex. As new and exciting as it was, mas knew there was no way he could possibly become so enamoured of Tal if it was only sex. As tal lingered against him, Mas's mind faltered to properly discern what it was about Tal that made him so...attractive. Beauty? In part. His features were fine. His body was fit for artwork. His eyes... Ah...his eyes.
Mas's mind pulled free of the dreamers haze that had begun to wrap itself around him. His arm tightened slightly around the presence of Tal's as the other mage would nudge for them to press on. Perhaps a full tour was not required yet. It would grant tal the opportunity to wander the halls and establish his presence in Barrith as a noble that would not soon be leaving. So Mas prayed. having Tal here certainly eased his concerns that Micarreth might try something in his blind animosity. Mas led the way from Tal's chosen room and he continued their walk around the circumfrunce of the floor until they reached the stairwell that led down to the lower floor.
"This next floor is dedicated to the Raiders. There are private training halls for them as well as rooms for each member." Mas paused on the landing and peered down the empty hall. "Normally it's a bit more full of life and activity. The Raiders serve as a secondary measure of protection against attacks. It's empty now though as I've sent both groups to the surface. Micarreth was gaining too much favor with the captains and I am little inclined to replace men with established skills and respect. I did not want them present when I finished cleaning House. As it were. Would you care to skip this floor? There's not much here really that I find of note. The third floor is far more interesting."

As they walked through the corridors Taliesin took note of everything they passed, committing everything to memory. After all if he could remember dozens of spells down to teh last syllable and gesture, he could remember the twists and turns of a few corridors. That kind of information could prove vital if he ever need to get about quickly, or make a quick and quiet exit. Still Tal was a little distracted as he walked. Like most Drow he wasn't exactly affectionate, yet realised he had taken Mas's arm in his own, in a very public display of affection. He told himself he could relinquish the hold at any time, it didn't really mean anything, he simply chose not to. But why not?
Lost in thought, Tal brought up his other hand and gently stroked Mas's forearm, sensing the warm and soft flesh beneath the delicate fabrics. Warmth, that was it. Tal enjoyed the warmth Mas's body offered, it was the same as when they shared a bed together. It was comforting in a way Tal couldn't quite put his finger on. Glancing sideways Tal caught a glimpse of Mas's eyes flashing in the faint light of the torches they passed. As a smile skipped across his lips Tal realised he was blushing and quickly looked away, pretending to examine some tapestries that decorated the wall, while he waited for the blush to receed.
When they reached the Raiders floor Taliesin stood still for a moment as he starred off down the corridor to the Raiders rooms, his golden eyes vacant and his lips pursed as he momentarily lost himself in thought. As he understood it the Raiders were a key asset to the house, but if any of them fell under Micarreths sway they could become liabilities, acting as informers or worse, potential assassins. Tal doubted he could rest easily here if that blasted brat held a foothold here, truth be told he wouldn't be entirely happy anywhere until the pest was dealt with permanently.
For now though Tal pushed thoughts of Micarreth from his mind and returned his attention to Mas and the matter at hand. Shaking his head slightly, he nodded towards the stairs again and urged Mas to continue on, giving his arm a slight squeeze. "No, that's alright. Lets see the rest of the house." As they started walking, Tal still had a slightly vacant look to his eyes as he put together a plot.
"Forgive me if I'm overstepping my bounds here, but might I make a suggestion? When the Raiders get back after you've 'Cleaned House' You should kill one of the captains. Preferably one of Micarreths favourites. You need the Raiders support if any coup is to succeed, the best way is to remind them of the fact you are a mage. Nothing brings loyalty like the fear of an agonisingly slow deaths magic can inflict. Oh! And money. Once you kill one of the captains, richly reward the others. Maybe promote the surviving captain over all the raiders and promote Lieutenants to fill the vacancies. With gold in their pocket and new ranks on their shoulders, they'll associate their own success with yours or at least fear crossing you. The carrot and the stick..."
With that Tal seemed to trail off again, going over whatever other plots were forming in his mind, a slight smile on his lips. Eventually he tilted his head a little until it brushed against Mas's. "So? What do you think?"
