Rubae: *curled around her many eggs, Kerani included*
Aito: -comes home after gathering a crap load of food- I brought back some berries.
Rubae: *looks up at him, tired but happy* Thanks.
Aito: -looks down at the eggs and pauses- ........ -clicks- They are born!?
Rubae: *nods* Come meet the kids, daddy. *uncurls from around them*
Aito: -snowly walks over and lays closely to Rubae and the eggs- There are.... so many @-@
Rubae: *giggles* Six: 5 girls and one boy. *nudges the boy*
Aito: -pets the eggs- Looks like this little one, Lex and I have our work cut out for us -smiles- We have to keep all you girls happy -kisses Rubae's cheek- They are all so cute.... thought of any names?
Rubae: Hmm...*pets one egg* I was thinking...Cardine for this. And maybe...*pets another* Rosca.
Aito: Both beautiful names.... I think I like Zytka for this girl.... and for our boy.... Reuben... Since he seems to look like his mommy.... what about the other two though?
Rubae: *pets the remaining ones as she thinks* Shandi and...Miou?
Aito: -nods- So we have our eggs names... -nuzzles and pets them- I bet you are tired.... Would you like to nap? i'll keep an eye on Lex.
Kerani: -sleeping with the other eggs-
Rubae: *nods* Yes, thank you. *nuzzles him and curls loosely around the eggs again*
Aito: Lexxxxxxxxxxxxx?
Lex: *comes in from outside* Yeah?
Aito: Have you learned to swim yet?
Lex: *tilts head* Swim?
Aito: -smiles and nudges him- I'll show you.... to the pond!
Lex: *nudged* 'K. *starts walking next to Aito*
Aito: I'm going to warn you.... it might be cold
Lex: *shrugs* Cold's ok.
Aito: -reatches the pond- Ok.... so swimming huh. -jumps in- I guess it's easier to show you... Jump on it, I'll get you.
Lex: *looks at the water, takes his headphones off and sets them aside before jumping in the water*
Aito: -grabs onto him- Alright so what you are going to want to do to stay floating in the water is to use your paws like this -moves his paws in the swim motion-
Lex: *watches Aito's paws, then flails his own paws*
Aito: Alright, keep your paws infront of you and continue to paddles. -holds under Lex's belly to help his head stay above the water as he lets him doggy paddle-
Lex: *flails more, not really getting the motion right*
Aito: -corrects Lex's paws- now try
Lex: *tries again, exageratedly slow to make sure he does it right*
Aito: There you go... try going a little faster
Lex: *paddles faster, his ears pinned back in concentration*
Aito: -cautiously and slyly lets go of Lex to let him swim on his own, keeping a close eye on him-
Lex: *concentrating on paddling, doesn't notice he's been let go until he realizes the other side of the pond is getting closer. stops paddling in surprise and starts to sink* Ack-bbl!
Aito: Keep Paddling. -starts to swim over-
Lex: *flails, manages to keep his head above water* Pfff! Gah!
Aito: -pushes his belly up- We'll keep practicing. You'll get it and be an amazing swimming.
Lex: *cough* It's tiring.
Aito: If you'd like, we could rest and try again later.
Lex: *nods* Uh-huh. *tries to paddle toward the shore*
Aito: -helps him get to shore then gets out and shakes the water from his fur-
Lex: *is sprayed a bit as Aito shakes off. also shakes his fur ro that some water splatters on Aito*
Aito: -smiles- Ah you got me! <3
Lex: *grins and shakes some more, though not nearly as much water flies off this time*
Aito: -starts tickling Lex- Oh I got you now!
Lex: Ah! *wiggles, giggling, as he tries to tickle back*
Aito: -chuckles as he tickles Lex more-
Lex: *laughs, wiggling more and getting muddy from squirming on the ground*
Aito: -stop and nuzzles his cheek- I love you
Lex: *squirms a little more, accidentally smearing mud on Aito when he's nuzzled* Love me?
Aito: -rubs off the mud and ruffles Lex's hair- Yes... I love my son <3
Lex: *blinks up at him* Love you, too.
Aito: Are you hungry?
Lex: *nods, then looks at muddy paws* Dirty, though. Don't eat with dirty paws, right?
Aito: -nods- you can wash them in the pond-
Lex: *nods and sticks his paws in the pond, splashing them around a bit*
Aito: Ready to go to the berry bush?
