"Then catch me if you can, Hitilafu." She grinned, tail swishing as she leaned down to touch her nose to the cubs before quickly bounding in the opposite direction. Her movements were quick but nowhere near what they could have been were she up against someone her own size. This was but a small lesson, after all...

"Okay!" She exulted, leaping forward once the game was on, her over sized paws thundering over the ground as her stumpy legs took her as fast as they could after the older lioness. She was all laughs and had bright eyes, giddy to have a chance to play. Her dad wasn't much for playing, though he did sometimes let her bat as his tail when he was sitting nearby.
She was having a bit of difficulty keeping up, stumbling as she tried to get her run to match Dunia's. She lacked the grace, but she was definitely trying her best. Little realizing her playmate was letting her catch up, she honestly thought she was going to win this game of tag.
"I'm catching up! I'm going to get you!!"

Her laughter was warm as it rang through the air, mind drifting momentarily to thoughts of enjoying moments such as these with her own cubs; carefree moments once all of this nastiness was through. Joy and youth... Things that she had thought little of in helping Nukta with his scheming.
She turned on heel at the last moment, tail swishing as she struck a 'pouncing' pose as if ready to spring right back after Hit once the cub managed to 'catch' her. "Come and get me! I'm ready for you." She grinned.

Hitilafu saw the older lioness suddenly stop, but her little paws kept going. She let out a squeal of a laugh as she barreled forward, managing to bounce on her paws just early enough to avoid running straight into Dunia. Instead, she ended up jumping on the other lioness's face, clinging to her in what was essentially a face hug.
"I got you!!!" she giggled excitedly, making sure to hold on so that was very obvious to anyone who might be confused by the turn of events. Because Dunia had been so low to the ground it had been easy for the cub to get into this position, but maintaining it was harder. Her little legs didn't want to grip anything without use of her claws, but she didn't want to hurt Dunia!
She let go and plopped to the ground, rolling over onto her back and kicking her little feet in exuberance.
"You have to catch me now!" Though, considering she was rolling on the floor, laughing, it probably wasn't going to be that daunting a task.

She nuzzled the youngster, laughing as she nudged Hit's exposed belly. This warmth was something that she desperately wanted on her own. Daughters; beautiful, playful daughters who were willing to learn... And a son, for Nukta.
"I'll let you have a bit of a head start." She grinned as she stepped back, lifting her head to scent the air to make sure that they were still safe. "Back to my den so we can be closer to home for when your father comes looking for you."

'Okay, okay, head start!" she pawed playfully at Dunia's face before rolling herself to her feet. She bounced then got a playfully serious face as she focused on her task, "one two four go!"
There was another number in there, and she knew it, but she was so excited she just skipped on over it and took off running.
She thought herself a speed demon. Tearing across the ground toward the den as fast as anything that had ever run in the whole wide world. She pushed her little paws as fast as they would go, and felt a weird tickling in her ears as wind rushed over them.
Of course, she really wasn't getting any where in a hurry. It wasn't very graceful, and she stumbled because she was giggling too hard. Still, she thought she was being amazing so it kept her happy.

She watched the youngster for a moment, shaking her head with a soft laugh as she took off after her. Once she caught up to the cub, she leaned down, touching her nose to Hit's shoulder before running on ahead. "You're it!"
Still laughing she let herself go, racing along with the breeze as she stretched out legs that needed to get more use than just during her hunting trips. She needed to stay on top of everything... It was time to start training again, no doubt.
Once closer to the den she let her pace slow to a light trot, eventually stopping to glance back over her shoulder to see if the little one was coming for her.

Hitter let out a high, long giggle when Dunia caught up to her. Just luck! Hit would totally get away next time. She rolled over and batted at the lionesses nose before taking off after her as she ran away.
Puffed out, the run a bit more strenuous for the cub since she was all flailing paws and constant laughter, she was all but walking by the time she caught up to Dunia near the den. She bumped sleepily into the older lionesses back leg.
"You're it!" she announced. Then she curled herself inconveniently around Dunia's back leg and sighed, holding on to her as she felt sleep washing over her. She was purring.

She leaned down, nudging the youngster gently off of her leg so that she could flop down beside her, shifting closer after a moment to curl up with her. One day she would be able to do this with her own cubs... One day... But until then she and Hitalifu could rest until the males returned; one to claim his daughter and the other to return to his mate.
