Hmmm.. I prefer Kikyou anytime...but Kagome was cool at the beginning of the series when she would be sassy with Inuyasha. "It's Kagome, Ka-go-meh!" xD But then as the series went on she got ehh...weaker and whined a lot more, my beautiful brat turned into a helpless Japanese schoolgirl T__T; (please ignore me Kagome fans xD) But yeah, she was cool at the beginning of the series.
Kikyou just plain out rocks. I mean she CAN fight, and she almost brought that two-timer down to hell xDD! Yeah, I probably have different views than a lot of you. I like Kikyou when she was alive and now. When she was a b***h and nice XD

im a kikyo fan all the way...i cant say i totally hate kagome but i just find her annoying....yea she was cool at the beginning of the series but then she got all clingy when it came to inuyasha
Kikyo just flat out rocks shes kind (to most ppl sweatdrop ) she can fight and shes not clingy and doesnt complain

Most of the reason why Kagome doesn't associate herself with the fights is because Inuyasha doesn't let her. If you notice in the beginning of the series, Kagome was more involved in the battles because Inuyasha cared less about her. Hence, Kagome not fighting and seeming wimpy is a result of Inuyasha caring and loving her more.

Both Kikyo and Kagome are great characters in the show. Kagome does have guys lined up for her at home, but if she went for them, that would mean the show we know and love would cease to exist. I do not hate Kagome, I just like Kikyo a bit better.

Kikyo is better because is too abusive to Inuyasha with the word "sit", but at least she supplies the ramen.... blaugh mrgreen

absolutly kikyou! she is the best character eva! i luved how she has all these plans and every move she doesnt efffects the person its meant to b as her plan is. i cant say i hate kagome, but i dont like her. i am all the way kikyou.

I like them both, but if I had to choose I would vote for Kikyo.
She is the serious young woman who was already in love with Inuyasha when Kagome didn't exist. Kikyo had to go through bad times, but not even the death could make her give up. She's so strong... I adore her.
Kagome is a nice school girl - she also knows how to fight, but I think she's not as wise and experienced as Kikyo. I don't hate her - why should I do that - but I think she belongs in her time, not in the past.
