'Umm... Yes, I'm sure, or you'll get used to me,' Xiang replied, 'And very nice to meet you.' She added.
As Anika turned away, Xaing's ears began to burn, a catch alight. She quickly covered them, but couldn't properly put the flame out.
Oh great, the one time I can't control it, and I'm with someone...
She covered her ears tightly, so the flames would suffercate themselves.

Raya looked up at the dove and smiled. "Hello there. You're no normal dove are you?"

Anika could smell burning? This wasn't right. She quickly turned around and saw Xiang covering her burning ears.
"Xiang?! What's happening?"

Richard flew over and landed on the other bed, changing back to himself, the other dove landing on his shoulder.
'Sorry about that, just wanted to get to know you before we spoke.' He explained still admiring her wings. 'So, do you change into birds too?'
He was hesitant as he did not know how she would feel about him watching her, but he tried to act as normal as possible.

Raya was silent for a moment before she burst into laughter.
"Wow that's amazing! You can turn into birds!" She settled down a bit.
"No I can not turn into a bird. I was born with these cursed wings." She ruffled them slightly.
"But wow... I have a guy for a room mate? This could prove interesting." She looked the boy over. He was cute and appeared to be her age.
"Oh! I almost forgot! My name is Raya by the way," she held out her hand to him.

Xiang let go of her ears, and the flames disappeared.
'Uhhh... I don't know,' She giggled uncomfortably and quickly added 'Spontaneous human cumbustion?'
What would she think if I told her about my power?She thought She'd call me crazy, and I'm to young to be in an intitute!
'I should get some water...' Xiang ran into the bathroom

Richard took her hand, and shook it once before returning his focus to her wings.
'Yes, it could,' He said almost apatheticly, then abit more admiringly 'Your wings are beautiful, why call them cursed? They are truely amazing, better than any of mine...'
He strocked them gentally, with the back of his hand.

This is getting really weird...She thought as Xiang ran into the bathroom. She's got something going on...Is she like me? I don't get this feeling just from her, but through the walls, outside, from the other students... I wonder...
Anika strolled towards the bathroom door and knocked hard on it.
"Hey, you know you'll have to come out sooner or later. Also, you'd be surprised about what you can talk about with me." Anika paused for a second before continuing. "There's something strange about this place. And everyone in it, including me. So is there anything you can tell me?"

She blushed slightly.
"Well it's just... They've gotten in the way of me living a normal life. Walking around with wings on your back makes you a freak in this world.." She looked down.
"Not to mention the fact that my parents think I'm some sort of demon cause they're black..." What is normal like anyways? She thought to herself.

The door handle turned and Xiang pushed the door open.
'I don't know about everyone here, but what's so specail about you?' She looked up, not meaning to sound offensive. Xiang sat on her bed, still looking at Anika, 'Why are you different?'
'How far can you walk?' Richard smiled, 'Any further than a corridor and you beat me. I've never been able to play sport, or walk with people. In elementary school I had to have just my wings out all the time. If you really want I'll show you, but I know what it's like. And my parents. If my sister wouldn't have got squirrel hair in all the food, they would have hated me too.' He laughed
'Don't worry about it anymore, this is your fresh start, and anyone tries to put you down again, come straight to me, ok.' Richard smiled at her, as small white wings extended from his back.

Anika gave a sigh and spoke. "I can channels spirits of the dead." She then gasped and put her hand over her mouth. "I must sound so stupid..But it's true, I'm telling you!"

Xiang looked up, 'Wait? You have one too?' She looked very surprised, and then mummbled 'I shouldn't say this...' She looked up and spoke monotoniously, 'I control fire, water and earth...' She rubbed her arm, 'Or rather I control water and earth, I'm not good with the fire thing, so sorry if we're ever running from this burning room...' She giggled, alot more comfortable than before.
'Not really,' Richard sighed disappiontedly, 'unless you count this,'
He summoned a wand from his pocket, and took a top hat from his bag. He tapped the hat with the wand three time, I'm soo Clique He thought to himself before a flock of doves poured out of his hat and flew in a white river, out of the window. He smiled, and put the wand in the hat, and laid it down on the bed.
