An evil grin rolled a crossed her face as she started to tickle more, at least she tried to anyways. It was rather difficult when he was moving around so much! And with that, she kind of fell off of him now to the side of him. Which, in doing so made it a little easier to tickle, though still didn't help that he was moving around like a fish on land. She giggled. "My, someone's very ticklish!" She squeed. She really hadn't had so much fun with another before. Even as a cub, running into so many cubs and adults... None of them could compare.

Dole, now free from being pinned down from above, managed to scoot far enough away on his side to widen the distance between them, just so she wouldn't tickle him anymore. He couldn't breath! Panting, he smiled at her, exhausted, and shook his head scoldingly.
"Now, now," he breathed, "didn't your mother ever tell you it's not polite to tickle someone until they can't breathe?" He hoped that she would soon forget his ticklish spot, or else not remember it so often. The poor leopard didn't know if he could live with that much tickling in his system. Sure, it'd be fun to try, but not right now! It was exhausting!
With a sigh, he flopped on his back with his limbs spread out, looking up to the sky. The paw closest to her making a little beckoning gesture for her to scoot over to him and come closer.

"Can't say she did" She grinned sheepishly at him now that he was too far her to tickle him. It was unlikely for her to forget about his ticklish spot, but she could let him think that she did. Then attack in a few days or so. She continued to grin and giggle at him, he was so silly it was great. "you brought this on yourself.
She didn't wait for him to gesture twice, she moved towards him. Seeing as the tickling was over for today. She'd get him another day, when he wasn't expecting it. Made it so much more fun. She Twitched her tail as now she was sitting next to him. "So, anyways, how have you been?"

Dole groaned. "Well, that's the problem. I can't believe she didn't say that to you while you were growing up..." then he snorted indignantly and gave her a look with a raised eyebrow. "I brought this upon myself?" he repeated, surprised. "How so?"
His outstretched paw tugged her closer, so that she was comfortable curled up next to his side. He trusted her--for now--to not tickle him again, and just be content to have his warmth next to her.
"I've been good. Busy hunting, as usual, and helping out still. What about you? Been staying out of trouble?" His other paw came over to affectionately bop her nose lightly.

"What can I say, I guess I was busy wondering away too much to hear what my mother would tell my siblings when they had tickling fights." It was true, Lulua was always found escaping her family for adventure and hidden danger. How the world called her name then, and even now. Though she was ignoring it's calls for now. She had more important things to do, like s**t here with Dole. "Easy, you started it." She said sticking her tough out playfully. He had started it.
She wiggled her nose at him after he bopped it. "Maybe" was all she said. Not like she had to tell him that she was waiting around this area just to see him. That might seem a little creepy, or cute, which ever. She wasn't sure. Though, she wasn't about to tell him that. No, no, no. That was too embarrassing yet. She wrapped her tail around his belly without even realizing it. "Maybe I got myself into a lot of trouble and hiding out.."

She would. Lulua was just the kind of leopardess to go wandering around when someone was trying to tell her something important. What in the world had he gotten himself into, exactly? Oh well. It was too late to back out now, not that he wanted to in the first place. She was too special, this young one. He felt so comfortable around her, like he could be his true self and not have to worry about anything with her.
"I did not start it," Dole half-grumbled to himself, knowing full well that he had, indeed, 'started it.' He licked her nose when she wiggled it at him, grinning after he did so.
"Maybe you've been staying out of trouble? I don't know if that's a good enough answer or not, missy. What trouble could you have possibly gotten into since the last time I saw you? And enough trouble to be hiding out?" He wasn't about to tell her that he had continuously been patrolling the area where they had first met. In hopes of seeing her again. He didn't mention this for the exact same reasons she didn't mention her secret: fear of embarrassment, for a bad reaction.

She laughed, she couldn't help it. He just made her smile. She wiggled her nose again as he licked it. It felt weird being licked, and she couldn't help. Though, it wasn't a bad feeling, probably because it was from him. She sneezed, after a few seconds but then was better. "Yes you did!" She said with another giggle.
"Oh? And you care if I get into a bit of trouble now?" She asked him with a raised eye brow. She giggled at him. "Well, if I told you, where would the fun in that be?" She asked him with a serious look, though it didn't last long which was followed by a few more giggles.

"Did not. Oh, ew.." he grimaced, making a face at her and brushing his free paw on his side and stomach where she had sneezed. "You're lucky I didn't have my tongue out, 'cause if you had gotten boogers all over my tongue, I would have had to licked you again, and then you would have boogers all over your face." So there. Teach her to sneeze on him again.
Dole rolled his eyes and nudged her cheek with his nose. "Of course I care if you get into a bit of trouble. What if you're in a dangerous situation and I'm not there to help you, hm? And you don't need to tell me everything, but I suppose as long as the trouble you're flirting with isn't too bad, you can still do so. But just be careful," he warned, giving her a truly serious and worried look.
The blue leopard wouldn't know what to do with himself if he somehow lost her. Crazy, he knew, but he was already so far gone with this girl that he didn't even care anymore.

She giggled "I'm sorry, I didn't think I'd have sneezed!" She said honestly. Well, it wasn't like she could help that type of thing. He tickled her nose. she tapped her tail on his side a crossed from where she was sitting. It was as if she was saying he was hers, and no other female better touch him. She wasn't really protective, though she didn't know what would come over her if another female did start hitting on him.
"I can handle myself, I'm a great climber you know." She said with a wink. "Plus, who'd be able to hurt a pretty gal like me?" She said with a wink. Of course there were plenty out there who'd want to hurt her, but she'd never get herself into a situation that'd result in her getting hurt. At least not on purpose. Of course her smile kinda faded with his serious look... Kinda. "I wouldn't purposely get myself into trouble I can't chew."
She wrinkled her nose at him and stuck her tongue out. She hadn't had someone other then her family care so much before. It was an odd feeling, but it felt good. Her dark gray eyes looked at him. "Do you really mean that? I mean, that you care about me?" She had to ask just to make sure. Who knew, he could be a good actor as well as a good charmer.

His tail slithered up to wrap around hers, calming the little tapping that she was doing on his side. Dole didn't mind it, but his tail had always had a mind of its own, and right now, it wanted to hold onto hers. He could feel her tail and her soft fur on his, and smiled.
"Forgiven. And you know that while not many would want to hurt a pretty gal like you," he copied her words, "you still are attractive enough to gain attention. And, therefore, trouble. With a capital T." Ha, she'd chew her way out of trouble? How cute. He gave her a lop-sided smile to show that he was playing around now; the serious time was over. "Yes, I know. For as pretty as you are, you're responsible and I trust you not to endanger yourself too badly. At least, without me here." He nodded to give a finality to the statement.
And then she asked the question that he hadn't really been sure how he would answer it if she had asked it. Even now, after thinking about it, he wasn't totally sure what to say. "Yes," he said softly. "I do care." He lifted his purple eyes to meet her own dark ones and smiled gently at her. Even if she minded, even if she didn't want him to care, he really doubted he'd be able to do anything otherwise.

She felt her body temperature rise as he answered her question. She couldn't help but let a big grin cross her face. Even if a girl didn't like the other, knowing that they cared, was a good feeling. Though, it was a better feeling when she wanted him to care. She cared about him too. "Good, cause I care about you too" She said. It felt so easy to say, yet hard at the same time.
"And I'm sure no one would want to mess with me, when your around." She said with a smile. He was big, in her eyes, and strong. To her, he could take down anyone who tried to hurt her, but she wasn't going to try to look for trouble. She wouldn't be able to bare it if he so happened to get hurt, even slightly.

Dole smile happily and squeezed her tighter to him for an instant before he let go. It pretty much meant the world to him to hear those words come out of her mouth. They weren't those three little words that every creature in the world longed to hear from another, but he knew that with time, they would both soon feel that way. And he was willing to be patient.
"I'm glad. Thank you," he replied, in response to her statement about caring for him. He was really glad, and thankful, that she seemed to care for him as well. He was such a lucky leopard.
"Oh, I'll beat up anybody who messes with you, darlin'," he teased in a slow drawl, half-serious and half-joking.

She laughed, she couldn't help it. He was so cute and funny. At least to her anyways. She'd swoon if it was more like her, but she sat next to him smiling down at him as he lay there. "I'm sure they'd run the moment they saw you and your muscles." She teased him.
Lulua had no clue what love was except for what her father tried to explain to her when she was a cub. She didn't understand what he was saying then, but she started to get the idea now. Though, she didn't know how to go about it. She looked into his eyes, his beautiful eyes. She didn't think she'd seen such beautiful eyes in her life. Even her own where nothing like his.

He grinned and chuckled along. "Well, as long as you think so, I'll make sure to keep on being big and strong so I can scare 'em all off."
Dole stared back into Lulua's eyes, thinking that hers were the prettiest he'd seen. Ever. His were only purple; hers went so deep that it felt like seeing his reflection was looking into his own soul, and that she was watching. Blinking and shaking the feeling, he smiled sheepishly at her and nuzzled her neck.
"C'mon, let's go find a watering hole. I'm thirsty. And I need a bath; you can help."

She laughed, she was a bit thirsty too now that she thought about it. But she didn't know about the bath thing. The worse thing in a cubs life was a bath, or to her. She still hadn't gotten over the slight hate of baths from others, but this was way different. This was a good bath, she thought. Something seemed so good about it anyways. "Sure, that sounds great" She said with out any hesitation.
And over?
