Akuma sensed the maids fear as she bolted from the room. Soon after she heard the thud of a platter hitting the wall and the sound of tearing flesh she smelt a pungent iron smell, which she figured to be blood. there was a sudden pause and another distinct thud, as she felt the vibrations of his footsteps nearing her.

'He's bringing me raw meat?'

His steps ended directly in front of her and there was a moment of silence. realizing he was offering her something she held out her hands to politely accept his offering, "Thank you..." she said with a pleasant coerced smile and waited for the bloody mass to hit her palms.

He drpped it into her waiting hands with a wet smack and continued feeding. He peered at her worriedly for a few moments, she didn't seem pleased. He thought for a minute then walked to the window and levitated up an apple. He returned to her side to hand it to her with a hopeful look on his face.

Akuma shuttered at the sound of the meat hitting her hand and couldn't help but grimace. quickly hiding her facial expression she smiled and thanked him again, and waited for him to return to his meal

As she looked in the direction of her hands she sighed, 'I'm a demon, and demon's adapt... we're not like humans... we can eat raw food... At least it's cold.'

She pincered a chunk between her thumb and index finger and slowly teared it off, feeling the muscle fibers pulling apart, and hearing the tear. she shivered and lifted it to her mouth, 'I guess this is one plus to being blind... I don't have to see it.'

Akuma tossed the wad of meat as far back into her mouth as she could and swallowed. It wasn't too bad... But it certainly wasn't something she wanted to become accustom to. as she was in the midst of ripping off her second chunk she felt a thud and jumped off the bed, cursing from the pain in her legs. Akuma fell against the wall and growled, "What's that?!"

Asmodeus decided not to give his new pet apples, she didn't seem to like them any more than he did, after feeding his new ward he spent the night huddled in the chair by her side feeling oddly protective of this slight, broken being.

Her presence was oddly calming to him, she soothed his animal instincts and made him feel almost...normal. He wanted her to stay, he didn't like the beast that took him over when she wasn't there. Ardina couldn't calm the beast he became, no matter how much they cared for each other, she had always been clear that she would not ever want him in that way, they were siblings of the heart, but this woman... Confused him, he wanted to figure her out.

The sun rose on the final day of the weekend, his last day cursed.

Akuma pushed off the wall and fell onto the bed. she frantically serched around and wrapped her swollen red fingers around the waxy skinned apple. her hands lifted it to her mouth and she bit into it, smiling as the juice oozed from the sphere. 'An apple... He gave me an apple?'

using her other senses, she found her host in the corner of the room and smiled softly and said, "Thank you for the food... It will help me greatly in my recovery." she finished her hunk of raw flesh, and apple in alternating bites to disguise the taste of the meat.

He ran clawed fingers through his rumpled hair, and growled in a baffled sort of way as he watched her finish feeding. He felt the curses hold on him slowly weaken as the sun rose higher into the sky. Ardina was beginning to lift the curse bit by bit, by nightfall he would have regained his human form.

He began to restlessly pace the room. He had never been this coherent when hidden away in this secluded citadel. He really wasn't sure what to do with the rest of the day, he usually prowled the countryside hunting....

"Are you alright?" Akuma asked as she stared at whatever was in front of her, "I can't see you, but i can hear your pacing feet." She looked to where she presumed him to be due to the sounds he produced and asked, "Would you come sit by me... I'm rather confused."

His head cleared a bit as he sat next to her, directing the full force of his icy blue eyes at her, slit pupils dilating slightly. He lifted her arm gently, careful not to hurt her with his sharp talons, but they were already beginning to recede back to their normal length. He leaned foreword, long tendrils of black hair tickling her thighs as he gazed into her sightless eyes. he cupped her face in his palm and pressed his lips against her forehead, pressed his awareness into her body. He could feel his lips against her forehead, the iron tang of blood coating her tongue, the pain, he paled under its intensity. Pushing that aside he worked quickly, burning away infection and knitting muscle and flesh back together, and finally allowing his magic to pool in her eyes, soothing burnt tissue and nerves, using what he knew of human anatomy to restore her. When he finally pulled back to gaze at her, her body pulsed with blue light for a few minutes before fading completely and leaving her whole. He could not tell if her eyes had been healed in time (up to you Baz), It would take a few weeks for them to return to normal even after a healing, so grave was the damage done to them. He stood, stretching his aching back, the wings had withdrew along with the tail, leaving only traces of the beast he had been on facials that were already feral and slightly alien. He slipped into the closet and returned a few minutes later dressed as he had been before arriving at the citadel and bearing a warm robe for the woman sitting on his bed.
"Your name?" He inquired politely, his voice was a low sensual rumble that filled the room as he handed her the robe.

She felt his energy pulsing through his body and didn't even begin to question how he had made it through her mental defenses, but couldn't help but becoming slightly aroused by the gentle touch. she had felt her eyes to be normal, but was still unable to see.

The robe brushed the side of her arm and she jumped up and took it in her arms, "My name... A-Akuma... My name is Akuma Kami Kessaku..." She stammered as she slipped into the robe, "And you are?"

He gazed at her gravely for a moment and then seemed to have come to a decision, "Asmodeus." He replied slowly and began to pace the room again, "You are not from here are you...?" He turned to look at her again, "Who did this to you? And why....?"

Akuma shook her head, "I don't know... but apparently they have something against my grandfather... but I don't know why they took it out on me, since my father cut ties with him long before I was born." she sat back down on the bed and looked down, "And I don't know where I am, so I could not tell you If I've been here or not... We move around a lot so I am never from a particular place."

(You should probably post something for the Golden Throne too dear... )

He muttered a few choice expletives and growled fiercely,
"This is the kingdom of Anaphar, or rather just outside its borders. We're in the mountains surrounding the castle, this citadel was previously abandoned, it is now a location secured by the lady Ardina for my use during my...illness."
He looked away, his mouth twisting in a grim line.
"I wonder if they threw you into these mountains purposefully or on accident? The...creature would have shredded any other human in its domain to bits, especially when it, or rather I, was out hunting, fortunately I was able to break through the mental restraints enough to exercise some self control."
He laced his fingers and examined the long black tinted nails with forced intensity. He feared her reaction...

"Hmm, I Believe I saw Anaphar on a map at the Academy my father used to teach at in Nictaros, but unfortunately I am not familiar with the area..." she smiled and stood up, "A creature, huh... Well you sure didn't seem like a creature to me... You had a few animal characteristics, but you sure cared more for me than my husband does..."

Asmodeus carefully adjusted the cuffs of his shirt and jacket, He felt much steadier that morning than he had in a long time despite the occurrences of the past few hours, he felt steadier, but not rested. His sleep had been broken by vague dreams and flashes of disturbing memory, but he couldn't remember what they had been.

His smile was deceptively mild, his eyes looked ancient as he looked down at her, he traced the outline of her jaw with one long nail, "Don't be so quick to trust sweetheart, I'm not a safe man to be around under any circumstances." His voice came out in a silky croon, but there was a painful catch in his throat as he spoke the words, he wished more than ever that he was lying, he didn't want her to fear him, dreaded seeing that all to familiar flash of terror in her eyes. Craved someone strong enough to face him for what he was. He looked away before she could answer, he would allow himself to pretend for now he decided, until he got her to safety. He didn't know what her fear would do his temper, or to his predator instincts. He stood and offered her a hand.
"we should get you back down to civilization Akuma, this place is not a suitable resting place for you to heal, the castle of Anaphar however should do quite nicely."

She felt around for his hand and took it, "Alright," she sighed as she rose from the bed, "But I no longer require much healing... I just need to restore my energy..."

As she followed the only set of eyes she had, the thought of how she looked crossed her mind. Did she still have her wings, Would one of her horns be ripped off due to the horrible fall? and worse yet... did she still have a tail? (Her tail is the most sensitive part of her body, and if she lost it... It would be a while before she could properly function... on a mental level.)

The thought of losing something so valuable reminded her of her son. What if they went after him in Enthelda? she paled instantly, her skin becoming cold and clammy, and she fell to her knees, eyes dilated in fear, "A-are... we near... Enthelda?" she managed to whisper as she began to tremble at the thought of her son going through what she had.
