if he's dark and has a painful past, definatly! they're the most interesting, but only if they're on the good side. i liked sasuke from naruto until he turn to the dark side, and now i just think he's anoying. but if you mean bookworm know it alls like glasses man from ouran high, i'm not too into them cuz they dont have much character.

btw, now i like neji, cuz he stoped being a jerk. and now that i think on it, he's a serious character too! xd
it just depends on who has the most character, who's most interesting, who looks coolest.

pokemon was pretty good though. sure everything else they did sucked bad eggs, but i liked their pkmn, and yu gi oh wasnt bad. it wasnt good, but it wasnt terrible. one piece on the other hand...
but yeah, those are my only 4kids experiences. i would have to say true, except for pokemn.

They did Sonic and Hoshi no Kaabii too.
Pokemon was the only good one.
Otherwise, they fail EPICALLY.

The first FMA anime was terrible! i hate it! it stole everything from the manga then flipped it inside out and threw it in the wrong direction! i love the manga, and i was so angrey at the anime. and now they're making an anime that will actually stay faithfull to the manga, but now they have to change everything to keep it interesting because the first anime stole so much! i'm looking forward to when they separate, so that they wont have to worrie anymore. but seriously, fma was a terrible anime! just agree with me, or i'll eat your pets.
ok, its got nice art, they did a good job at telling their story, and i understand they couldnt wait for the manga. but still.......

Otherwise, they fail EPICALLY. sonic x? i never saw the japanese version, but i gotta say, i dont think i would like it either way. sonic advance battle two was such an epic game i thought someone would make a movie out of it, but no, they just stuck it in the middle of some low budget show. that was the only part of the show i watched btw, and in english too, so i dont have much to judge by

they killed one piece crying
good thing they can't no longer do it, one piece is now on another production house. The bad bit is that 4kids screwed the beggining, and now the new place will struggle to make everything return to the history

i read the manga, but after the epic crocadile arch, i sort of burned out. its hard to keep going. its really good though, i just like reading it in hard copy form better than online.
i've seen the first episode of the jp anime. its pretty good.
but yeah. what in the geck did they do? the japanese already were missing lots of blood where there should have been blood. then 4kids erases all the blood! well, i guess i gatta give them credit for trying to make a completly unchild friendly show into a child friendly show, they were destined to fail.
