Just stopping by to say hello and a Blessed Beltane to everyone. I'm in the hospital at the moment. I had a hip replacement last Tuesday and am recovering. Lucky for me my brother brought me my laptop or someone's laptop so I could check on my Gaia things. I hope that everyone is well and having a good time. Talk to everyone later.

I've been too focused on trying to get things unpacked and getting ready to teach my classes this mini-term to even remember any sabbats...I'm so disorganized right now...

My boyfriend actually took me to the zoo and to a nature park for Beltane so I could meditate and just enjoy life ^.^ it was wonderful. After that, he brought me home and made little cakes for us to leave out with sweet milk for the faeries XD I love him so much, best Beltane celebration to date

I'm not sure what I'll do for samhain... I don't really know of anyone who's past away. I'll draw a circle tonight and see what I come up with.
Even though it's in northern hemisphere, I've kind of celebrated Beltane by visiting the swamp near here. It's beautiful and the ducks are cute.

Beltane snuck up so fast, that I forgot about it. But I would've spent it meditating or just sitting outside on a boulder, listening to the sounds of nature, soaking in the sunlight (or moonlight, rather) and thanking the God and Goddess for all the blessing that They've provided.

Merry Meet Even though I had school the day before i made a few crowns, and gave them out to some friends. They really liked that. When i got home, i spent time with my mom, which was a blessing in itself.

I had a good Beltane. It was my first Sabbat that I was able to celebrate and I got to do it with friends which made it all the more special.

I have a sakura tree in my backyard and it hasn't be doing well so I'm going to meditate before it and communicate with the triple goddess and horned god to bring energy to heal the tree so it can be healthy again.

I'll be honest, since I haven't come out of the broom closet yet, I can't do anything for any holiday. However, I'm starting to write my own spells and I'm gonna try to write one for each of the holidays

I didn't get to celebrate this year. But here's a great recipe:
Beltaine Cream Pie Recipe by Edain McCoy
Prepare and pre-bake a pie shell and have it ready in the pie dish. The pie filling will be warmed but not baked.
1 cup whole milk 1 cup rich cream 1/2 cup or one stick of real butter 3 tablespoons cornstarch 1-1/2 cups sugar 1/14 teaspoon vanilla ground nutmeg
Melt the butter in a wide cooking pan.
In a separate bowl slowly add the milk to the cornstarch making sure it is fully dissolved and absorbed before adding more milk.
When the cornstarch is fully blended add this and all the other ingredients, except the vanilla, to the cooking pan.
Stir constantly over medium heat until the mixture becomes thick like a pudding. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
Pour the mixture into the waiting pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg. Chill the pie to set.
(The above recipe for “Beltaine Cream Pie” is taken from “Witta: An Irish Pagan Tradition“, by Edain McCoy, page 187, Llewellyn Publications, 1993/1994)
It's really yummy.
