No, it's not. "Wa" is used after the subject. "my name" is the full subject. The "no" makes the "watashi" or "I" possessive, turning it into "my".
If "I" was the full subject, then would be "watashi wa". For example, when I introduced myself, I used "ore wa", which amounts to the same thing as "watashi wa", only far less formal. That's because I was saying "I(subject) am Rock(predicate)" versus her "My name(subject) is Stephanie(predicate)."

Man, it's summer vacation, but with all of this grammar talk I feel like I'm back in school again. And I thought I would be free from this stuff come June. I could go for a drink right about now. XDD
