He allowed her question to hang a moment, releasing a light sigh as the smile broke to the surface. "You," he replied simply, his tail falling still. He wasn't nervous about putting the single word out there, knowing the expression it carried. Regardless of her response, the honesty he felt in it made it worth it.

Abla closed her eyes waiting for the male to speak... She was very relaxed closing her eyes purring slightly. That was before he spoke, she continued her purr, however she almost jumped, but a blush appeared across her face. It was hard to see but it was there. "Wow..." She chuckled softly before the rolled over, looking at him a smile appearing on her face. She wished she could see him. She licked his nose before smiling even more. "I'm glad really, I'm really glad to see you here, and if your looking for me that's awesome." She grinned.

Red sat up now, the confidence in him growing at her positive reaction. He didn't want to continue if he made her uncomfortable or, even worse to him, she did not feel the same way. "I came here looking for you, because... After returning to my home and spending some time with my closest friend... I realized that as much as I care about her and love her... It's not the same." The words sounded odd, coming out in his rough voice, but they were well-considered, since he had thought them over his whole trek back here. "What I feel about you isn't the same... And I think that after our first meeting, or even during, perhaps..." He took a deep breath, his shoulders relaxed, and his ears dropped a bit. "I realized that I was in love with you, and simply had to see you again."

Abla smiled at him a purr still escaping her throat, and she could still feel her cheeks burn. But it didn't bother her. When he admitted that he didn't really like his friend any more, she couldn't help but to smile a little more. Then what he said next made her swell with joy. Maybe this time she was actually lucky. Oh she hoped so. She leaned forward and nuzzled him with a smile still on her face. "I think I love you too Red."

A smile slid to his maw, and he closed his eye, hearing her words in a similar was that she heard his. "Truthfully, those are the best words I've ever heard."
