I've had some pretty memorable decks. One, an undefeated phantom/incarnation deck. I've since then sold my cards, gotten back into the game, and forgoten what exactly the build was.
My nightmare deck won 4 out of every 5 games.
My black spirit craft deck turned a few heads.
And my black demon/ogre won many chaos games.
Lastly, my recent pestilence deck has everyone in my school's chaos games ganging up on me whenever I use it. Which is something to be proud of.

Just kidding. It's not legal anyways and would do less than piss your friends off.
I never build decks. I just pick up a random assortment of cards from my friend. sad If someone ever actually made a retarded deck like that and brought it to a magic tourny Im afraid that I would be forced to pimp slap them for an hour straight .

ive had most fun with blue/white and blue/black
blue/white is landstill which i still have and the blue/black was a discard lock deck that screwed over any draw spells using chains of mephostopheles and so that it doesnt tag me i just got around it with impulse index necropotence and cards like that and to make them discard combo off chains with cephalid colliseum to make them ditch most if not all of their hand but 4 chains is too hard to pick up and i dont want to invest in underground seas again....

ive only built two decks, and im not afraid to admit that my first was a white stinker...but then i found how many awesome green cards i had and hooray! an excellent deck in the making! biggrin

My best deck
(before my 2 year leave) was the prevent damage angels that killed all (pre akroma, back when angel of retrabution kickes a**)
Now probably my turn three kill Fast-horn deck.
Fastbond+horn of greed=happiness. (in a 47 land deck)
Or evene better might be the MonoBlue control that holds down nearly all powerless type one decks. My play gorup would actualy scoop on sight.

i had a deck that i sdotn consider my best.. but it was one of the hardest ones to defeats ense it had nearley every way to win...it had a inf creature/mill combo. it had mill your libary . it had a "I win" card (darksteel reactor). an every turn restart button. the deck couldnt be depleated without someoen being able to remove thoes card from the game.
you name it... this deck had it all... but was way to hard to paly... so i downgraded it so it was simple. yet effective.

the best deck i use is a mono-black which is mostly a deck made of a few monsters with tons of enchantments to boost my monsters + take life from my opponents and give them to myself. the best deck i have played against would prob be a tie between a green and black and a black and white

The best deck I've built is a sliver deck. It has never lost and it has three colors. The second best is an artifact-blue deck. It has only lost twice, to the sliver deck.

Angelic Celestia liz_bliz there is no 'best' deck. That's the point of the game, for every strategy you make you can bet you a** more than 10 another people are out there thining up a way to beat it into the ground. Very true. As for my personal favorite to play with, I'm rather fond of my vintage black discard/stompy deck. And, for fun, I like to use my blue/green faerie deck. actually there is....the old long dot deck is the best....the only problem is everything in it is restricted now

I have a deck that I still use, That revolves around Battle of Wits, Epic Struggle, Mortal Combat, Chance Enocounter, and Test of Endurance. I never used it in a competition because some of the cards were banned. It annoyed a lot of people and was 500+ cards.
