As she walked up she watched the last person waiting get on. Thankfully, someone had noticed her and the bus waited. She collapsed into the first free seat with a sigh. She wasn't sure her legs would ever move again, but she at least made it on time to catch the bus. She was slouched in the worn vinyl seat, her legs awkwardly bent to have her lower legs cross over each other. She seemed comfortable on the bus.
It wasn't all that far-fetched of an occurrence. The same people live at the same places and work at the same place day after day. So if they take the bus more than rarely the other people who ride it to work at that time each morning would begin to recognize him/her; and him/her them. While the ride back might be a different group of people the concept applied. The people that commonly rode this bus at this time on weekday mornings had become familiar with the thought that a woman at that stop would be just a yard away as the bus was ready to pull out.

Aditos sighed as he and Diana met up at the basement floor or the foundation. They walked off the elevator into a massive room that could fit a small country if needed. In the center of this place was a large ship outfited with the company logo on the side. There were many workers running around taking equipment to the loading bay and working on the ship. Aditos and Diana walked past a few people who nodded as they past by. These workers were not allowed to tell anyone about the secret facility under the fonudation. The Babylon II was set to launch in a few days, its mission was to find the missing space station Aurara and anything that could lead to there father.

Lillian perked up as the bus neared her stop. She could almost instinctively time it by now. Her breathing had settled and she was approaching being ready to get some more exercise, almost, when it was her stop. She got off, and paused, looking at the building she worked at. It was across the street and a parking lot away, there were even some fast food places on this side of the parking lot, but the building was still easily seen.
She walked to work, coming in the doors short of breath. She had retied her hair twice on the walk, and not particularly well. After greeting the person at the front desk she headed to her office and work area. Her work area was an enormous room that was basically a mech garage.

He takes his job of protecting any building, ship, station he is assigned too very seriously, and does so efficiently and thoroughly. He is a cold man, having lost his wife in a raid by the Chaos faction, and finds the need for social niceties trifling, at the best. He devotes himself to his job and his mech, rarely showing any emotion other than anger and disdain. He hates failure, mouthy subordinates, and the Chaos for robbing him of one of the two happinesses in his life.

His hair has greyed prematurely from the great stresses of his life, and his grey eyes are as hard as his heart and features. He rarely shaves, but only ever seems to grow that salt-n-pepper stubble he is known by. He vows, in addition to finding the long lost space station his faction is searching for, to rid himself of the cursed Chaos and all of it's followers

The Thunderhead was a mess. After that last engagement, Strakhov was suprised he hadn't scrapped the electrified wreck, but the old girl had grown on him. He had brought her here, because he could fix her up a bit, but he knew that no one could repair her like Mech Engineer Saire could. He was working on stabilizing the core of the mech, the Storm Chamber, when he caught sight of a disheveled looking Saire entering the garage. He sarefully removed his thick rubber gloves and stood up with a slight wince at his stiff muscles twinging. He walked briskly over to the approaching woman, pulled of a formal salute and said gruffly, "Ms. Saire. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to maybe getting the Thunderhead back into fighting codition. She seems to have picked up a few scratches in the last engagement, and I would be ever so grateful if you would put your reputation on the line to save my old clunker." He looked above her head, staring at some unseen point on the wall, face dead set in a look of indifference. His tone was formal, business like, and most of all, respectful. He smiled inwardly. That was him. Follow every rule, to the letter.

Lillian barely heard a word he said. She had been oblivious of the man's existence until he approached her, but after looking Strakhov over, she glanced behind him at the pile of crumpled metal. He breathing was almost normal, but the pace of her breathing and heart rate hadn't quite normalized when she screamed, mostly at the man before her, but without really aiming it at him.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THAT MECH!?" The raised intonation that would signify that the sentence was a question was buried by her shock. The usually sounds of the morning were mostly mechanical and wouldn't stop without a power outage, but the ((NPC))) people in the area winced and stopped to look at the scene.

Strakhov's eyes narrowed, but his tone stayed the same. "Please, Ms. Saire," he said levelly, as if she had not yelled into his face, "Let us not distract these occupied men and women. I must also request that you no longer elevate your voice to that particular decibel, for it may not only raise and alarm, but damage the surrounding hardware." It was his feeble attempt at a joke, and he new it, but it was either that or be nasty, and he needed her help. He decided on smooth indifference.
"If I could persuade you to walk this way, we can discuss the events that led to my mech's current state," he said civilly, turning and gesturing towards his machine expansively

Lillian turned, rolling her eyes, and began to walk swiftly towards the mech. A brief falter in her stride just after passing Strakhov, is explained by her arm, holding one end of a wrench, swinging backwards, toward the base of the man's skull. Whether it hit or not, as long as the man didn't manage to catch her wrist, she would let that hand fall to her side and continue towards the mech. Her pace had no intention of even pausing for the attack, and the slight disturbance was mostly just because it was too early for her to pay enough attention to prevent it.

Strakhov flinched back in suptise, but instincts took over. His hand snapped out and gripped the wrench, and with a rough twist, yanked it from her hand. With obvious difficulty, he restrained himself from retaliation, and said through clenched teeth, "Another occurrence like this, Ms. Saire, and I will have you incarcerated for assualting an officer." With an icy glare, he stalked of to his mech, and as an afterthought, tossed the wrench down at her feet. With an angry grunt, he pulled himself on the mech arm, and began to remove one of the many coils studding the Thunderhead's arms for maintenance.

She stumbled when grabbed, and quickly turned to glare at him. She made a grab for the wrench with her free hand before he spoke. She knew the difference between stupid and stubborn, from experience. With him angered she stood rather still, without any verbal response. She waited several seconds before moving to face the mech, and the man. She jumped a little when she saw the wrench thrown, but let it slide to her feet before leaning down to pick it up.
'Tentacle sucker scuffed my wrench.' she thought, as she inspected it while standing back up. She stood for 3 second before doing anything. In those three seconds she let a blink last a minute and a half, and inhaled very slowly.
"RANDALL A NEW MECH CAME IN." she shouted out to a tech, that was assumed to be around the garage, somewhere. She inhaled quickly, threw the wrench as hard as she could at the 'new mech' with her exhale, and walked to her office, slamming the door behind her. A couple things fell from previously precarious positions on both sides of the wall.
Her strength the throw something is not all that impressive, and coupled with the distance it was unlikely to make but a slight mark if it even got to the mech. Her aim was terrible, so the rafters and support beams were more likely to be the direction it hits anyway.
