" Lady O'Connel!"
With a sigh, the halfling slowed down to a stop - as she turned around to wait for the kid whom has been her companion for the last few days. Granted, the boy that was jogging his way towards her was not a kid by human standards, and he'll probably be more then insulted if he heard that thought - It was just. . his personality at times.
" Webz, Pick up your pace, Or I'm leaving you behind." Her voice was sharp, despite the annoyance that flickered into the set of green eyes that belong to the brunette. Kylie would have pouted if it had been another time - but the sharp turn of directions that were leading away from their original goal destination, otherwords he wasn't fully up to taking a detour. " Yes M'a-" The twenty year old responded only to realize he was being left behind again. In mere moments he caught up to the determind blonde - and while he felt the odd shift of magic, he wasn't exactly quite sure why the halfling was being determind to investigate it.
She was his superior for the moment, who was he to question her decisions? . .. Ha. As if it was ever that simple. Oh well, Kylie figured he find out eventually, and she had to have her own reasons. Feeling the group of people ahead of him, and eventually spotting - he wondered briefly if that was Eliza's destination.

After our little incident with Zeaon, we had decided that it was best to leave that up to Drako.. wherever he may be. Instead, we had continued on our way, my heart heavy, laden with the thoughts and memories of the recent event. Solace was not with me, for none could help, it was something I would have to tough out, and it would be my job to ensure everyone else was safe. This was getting old, but what can one do? I walk withmy eyes closed until I topple over someone. I jump up to find an angel with blue eyes and brown hair staring at me. I open my mouth, but think better of it, these guys always got offended...
"The Wolfgangs?" He asks, and I nod in answer. "I do believe you are wanted, there is, money involved? You are a mercenary group, right?" My whole army was really, but he could say that. I nod once again. "Good, um, there is a group of, well, a group of ne'er-do-wells roaming different planes... And a certain angel recommended you." I knew who that was... "She said that she would pay you, and she said she would help look into the events of the Familiars." Why would Jamie ask us do this, why not herself? I just nod again. "They were spotted in the Nothing's Realm last... Thats why your going." Yep... That explains it! "I will check back in a few to see how your doing... Good luck!" I nod again.
With the angel gone I head for the clearing a couple paces ahead, and open a rift. I wonder what would happen if I brought a group of non Nothings? Meh, I will deal with that later. Thinking never helps me, and besides, I didn't get to be a pilot and a pirate by thinking. I head in with the rest of the family behind me.

" It's curious," Eliza murmered more to herself then anyone else. The group attracted her, and the main reason was not only were they in the attire of shades as alot of the population here found popular, but it was. . a situation in which, to bring non-Nothings in a area like this was rare. Not that she was a expert of this place - being she has not been her for that long of a time as well.
A rip in this dimension was-
" Captain, are we just going to-"
" It looks that way, does it not?"
" Curious?"
" And you're not?"
Kylie grinned. At least she wasn't afraid to follow her curiosity and actually do stuff. Trailing by her side, Kylie unconciously played with the daggers that were sheathed on his hip. He was amused, but his guard was more then over up now.
As the neared the group, the halfling stopped by a tree, her hand resting lightly at the trunk, " It's not often that Non-nothings come by in groups. Excuse me for being curious, but I would like to know the cause of this disturbance." That was blunt, even for her - but they really did just attracted her enough to making her take a detour. Standing by her side, the brunette kept quiet watching the group curiously. The landscape was not all just one-flat ground, as Kylie calculated the drop to where the kitsunes were was a little over fifteen feet.

I kneel down, listening for certain sounds using my ears, keeping me distracted from normal sounds. But when I see a Wolfgang turn to look back and then jump up a small cliff and to someone, I raise an eyebrow. "Devian, look for our group, could you?" He smiles and nods. I hang around a bit closer to Jack, whom was now talking, but still far away enough not to see who he was talking to. I do hear him speak though.
"Ah, I see we have someone, wait, some people who aren't Nothings here too. Heh, wonder why. Anyways, We are here due to an angel, presumably Jamie, our lader's daughter, wanting us to take care of some poiple here in Oblivion, She has certain, circumstances, so tells us by Vinny, that she can't come in here. Anyways, I deem it fit that tats All I can tell you. Take it up with the boss if you want to know more, but um, he is busy, and he is edgy because something poisanal just happened." Good ol' Jack and his weird speech.
and there is no mistakes in his language, he actually says That tats, instead of that thats, and he will say tats that...

Not moving from her spot by the tree, even when Jack met them on the higher ground - While Kylie was toying with his daggers, a way to show that he was on guard - despite placent expressions on his face, the Halfling didn't bother to move from her spot. That was easy. Lifting a brow at the first words that came from the Kitsune's mouth, the Halfling was starting to grow a little bit more incredlous - at the information that Jack was sprouting. By the time he was finished with his speech, Eliza had already moved pass him and the brunette, and was half-ways down from the small cliff.
Kylie on the other hand was surprised at the abrubt movement of the angel and even more so of not hearing the rest of Jack's speech. Moving to the edge of the drop, he looked down seeing the halfling touching the ground. " Lady-"
" Vincent!"

I was in mid turn from inspecting Jake when I hear my name, and then figure out who it was using it. "Eliza?" I turn rapidly, and look at her. I tilt my head. "You didn't leave? You know how I am sure!" I move towards her, and then stop, remembering my parting words, and then slow to a stop some feet from her.

" I know how," The halfling assured him, her mind not dancing with his parting words, unlike his. " And I did, I just. . .managed to make it back here." Which was the truth. And how she managed to get Kylie as a potential stalker. " How are you doing?" She questioned tilting her head slightly, it hasnt been -that- long, but it has been awhile since she saw the Wolfgang. Meanwhile, Kylie wondered if he possibly missed something. It was very convienent that his superior's superior was here. His captain seemed fine, but he kept a eye out incase he was needed, or was called. Yet, normally shouldn't he drop down by her side, and showing Vincent his respect?

I forget the words, and run to her, hugging her hard. "I have been fine! Besides an incident that just happened involving me and Zeaon... I have been fine! We are here on a mission actually, as Jake must have told you. Oh I missed you!" I let her down and re fix my jacket. I should be wearing my robe in this place... I look down and in a flash, my clothes are gone, replaced by my robe. The light fades, and I look at Eliza. "What have you been up to, I would have bet you wanted to get back to your home?"

Kylie was at a bit of a lost. Sure, He joked about it - but. . really?
Meanwhile, the halfling didn't pry into the incident that just happened. Instead she laughed lightly at the tight hug, mentioning something about the motion - as her feet touch the ground again. " I missed you too Vincent," She said lightly, but sincerly. Because, she really has. Being let go, as the Wolfgang now donned the robe - the blonde shook her head at his question, as his ears were now drawing her attention. " Not to stay though," At least for the moment for the comment about her home, as the angel found herself tweaking the new set of ears.
When. . did this happened?
The halfing was a bit dazed.

My hands go up to my ears. "Oh, these, not long ago actually." I look at her. "I would, um like to talk to you in private actually..." I had things I wanted to say, burning emotions that seemed to want to come out, but these emotions held secrets too, secrets that could not be told here among the general public." "Care to um, go somewhere more private? Please?"

Not to long ago, He says.
It shouldn't be too surprising since he was back to his original form. But the halfling certainly was not expectiing this change at all. Tweaking his ears for one last time, Eliza nodded, her hand slipping past his ears to the red strands of hair. It was not a simple change.
" My Lady, Captain Wolfgang." The voice stirred her attention away from the Wolfgang, and on Kylie whom finally decided to join in. Watching the brunette, even despite his low bow to show his respect, Eliza antici particpated exactly what his thoughts were going to be voiced out in seconds.
" Kylie Webz, You are instructed to stay here." Seeing his green eyes flashed, Eliza stepped away from Vincent " Meaning no sassing me at all. I am you're commanding officer, you are not my body-guard, I am commanding, not suggesting that you to stay put or either go to town in which I will find you later."

I look at the young man. "You think? I-, I am amused actually! Eliza, she, well, she could best me in battle if she put her mind to it, she needs no bodyguards, or I would have assigned one to her!" I smile, though, to show the young one I meant not chastise to my words. "Though please, I would hope you could leave." I turn to my men aswell. "And that goes for the lot of yous aswell! I will be unkind to any who think it is wise to tread upon my secrets!" They all scurry off to do whatever they thought wise. Not out of fear, but out of respect for freeing them of an evil man, two actually, though one I recieved a huge help from Drako. "Your lead." I kiss Eliza on the cheek.

It was not that he did not trust the captain, of course not, Vincent Wolfgang is a great man and a leader. Just. . .fine. It wasnt like he could disobey this direct order. Especially since it wasnt from just one of his commanders. " If you need me, I'll be in town." And then he left.
Kylie was not to happy with her. That she was aware of. Oh well, He'll get over it. Vincent's words would have boasted her ego, if it was not for the way he said it. With a sigh, then a smile - especially due to the kiss, she tugged at his hand leading him off a opposite direction from town and towards the place she found a little ways back on her way here. " Bodyguards can be bothersome, You know." She remarked lightly, looking at him - it was still rather different to see the kitsune ears, " Thankyou, Vincent." For his words.

I scratch my head with my free hand. "I said only, the truth?" I was puzzled by the way she said it too. "Okay..." I let her lead me, and then, after a while, I stop her. "I also, have to say something else. We are entering a dark, dark time, Eliza. I need to know you stand behind me as an ally, not just a lover..." I nod into deep thought at this, my hand on my chin, whlie the other supporting it. "I also want to know, if I could possibly throw out the truth to what we actually did and come out with it, the whole, you know, what happened before, and with me going crazy, and what happened before that. Its getting annoying holding up with this charade." I bow my head in thought again.

The halfling didn't say a word during his little speech, as she watched his own movements curiously. Tilting her head slightly, charades could be annoying after-awhile, but to be honest, " I'm actually a little surprised." She finally said, both of her hands hooked behind her, " I still had not seen you in a few days." With a slight snort, she reached out lightly tugging the red strands. It was. . .still a little different. " And you should know the answer to that Vincent. Yes, Yes to all of it."
