Just a few feet out form the back of my house is wetlands. Right now there are lil green and brown froggies everywhere! I have to be careful where I step as I don't want to smush them. The keeping the light on at night idea is a good one. I always see bunches of them near my porch where I keep the light on decimating the moth and skeeter population. They are everywhere here, and so cute too! We also have these brown backed red/orange bellied newts and salamanders that are black with a yellow stripe down the back. I frequently see them hiding under the mulch, eating any buggies that get in there path.
