Indigo Project Figuren I was at a hafla having a lovely time, and then I was just dancing, aaand I went to my knees and my harem pants ripped. Of course it was on the outside seem, either. Crotch seem tore completely. It was awesome. I didn't have anything else to wear either so I ended up tying a veil over it and pretending nothing was wrong. It worked, for the most part. It was pretty bad, though. I learned after that happened with a costume I made that double-stitching can help avoid that. Once, out of sheer paranoia, I triple-stitched. I had an earring fly off and hit a camera. Thankfully I got it back after. I'll have to re-sew them like that. That's pretty funny, though. A pretty precise malfunction.

I had a hysterical flub up Sat!!
You'll all love this one.
Sat. we had a demo for a local SCA group. I decided I was going to dress all gypsy and wear my dreads....which are...HEAVY...at least 8lbs of fake hair.
We were dancing on grass, which was kinda bumpy and inclided.
Well, I went to do my turkish drop, which went fine, and I hit the nice soft grass and did some arm movements...and then I went to get up...and realized I couldnt...Because my head was at the lower part of the incline, and was being weighed down by my dreads. LOL
I flailed a little and finaly managed to get upright again. So funny. I'm glad we didnt have too many people watching, the demo was really uncrowded. lmao I'm still giggling about it.
