Trent looked up from the dirt, "I'm fine, I can heal myself..." he drew from the energy in the diamond on the end of his sword to replenish his strength as well as heal Dioman and himself. He pushed himself up and jumped to his feet, "My name is Trent Theosis. I do not have a last name given through title, but the name of my mother who died in my arms when I was a small child at the age of 16." he said in a proud voice, "I am also Eragon's apprentice, as Dioman is Saphira's." he finished the introductions quickly and looked to Dioman, who bowed quietly.
Dioman touched his forehead to Canaya's brow, Well met, Rider. his voice echoed through every mind present. It was the first time he had spoken, his voice was low and haunting.It carried to power of dragons and riders past, as Trent liked to say.

Canaya frowned, not exactly sure if the boy named Trent was really okay or not but she decided not to push matters futher. She stood up, brushing off her knees and nodded at him.
"My name is Canaya Mirabel and I am sorry about your mother. I myself didn't know my mother very well..." She offered a smile which she hoped seemed friendly, she wasn't exactly sure, her time wasn't usually spent smiling.
"Eragon hm? I have actually never met him though I've heard rumors of him as well as Saphira." She turned to her own partner who lifted his great head.
I am Omnirok, pleasure to be in your company rider, Omnirok turned to Dioman. And you as well noble one.

Trent smiled, "They are more skilled than rumors give them credit." he chuckled to himself before jumping from Dioman's foreleg to his back, "Come with me. It appears that we need all the help we can get on the island of Vroengard. Currently, only new riders and Eragon are there and they alone cannot hold off the Shur'tugal Konungr." he instructed. His place as Eragon's apprentice may have given more power than other riders, but this was the only time he had used any force indicating his position. He had to alert Eragon and the other riders, besides, the more the merrier as the humans said.
Dioman nodded once to Omnirok, As well as yours, O warrior-of-big-blue-sky. he greeted the other dragon with the traditional dragon-way of lumping every describing word into a single phrase.

Canaya nodded and looked at Omnirok who had been chatting shortly with Dioman. She smiled, he usually didn't have the chance to talk to other dragons so it was a welcomed change.
"Omnirok, let's go then." She looked towards her partner who faced her and lowered his wings so they weren't in her way.
Canaya got herself onto Omnirok's massive arm, he lifted it slightly to raise her up before she swung herself up and sat back down comfortably on his back. Omnirok got up and she felt herself feel the joy of getting up high into the sky.
"Lead the way then sir." She addressed him a bit formally.
My rider and I will follow you. Omnirok said to Dioman.
With a strong wing beat, Omnirok's body surged into the air, stream-lining his body, he shot up quickly, Canaya flattened herself for a moment, wanting to gain speed as they got airborne. She smiled when he suspended himself in the air, awaiting Trent and Dioman.

Trent stayed seated on Dioman with perfect posture as the great dragon run forward and shot into the air, not bothering to rise before flapping. He cleared the tall house in front of him, despite his low altitude, and rose to the same height as Omnirok. Trent's laughter filled the air as the dragon flew through the air he looked back at the girl and the white dragon, with a wave he shouted, "Fly true O Whitescales! Lest Dioman reach Vroengard before you overtake us!" his laughter enchanted animals who had been hiding from Dioman but a second earlier.
Dioman hummed as he flew. It was an old lullaby sung to hatchlings he knew by instinct, and not instruction. It tickled him on the inside and he joined in Trent's laughter through his mind while humming.

Canaya grinned, loving a challenge. She and Omnirok had been together for awhile now and they flew in synch with each other, it was only natural for a rider anyway.
"I do not see that happening anytime soon now sir, you will just have to enjoy the sight of Omnirok's behind." She smiled, urging her partner onwards.
Omnirok if he could would have smiled as he flapped his might wings, shooting the two of them forward with speed. It was a clear day, perfect for flying. Below them, Omnirok noticed the town people watching in awe as the two dragons soared above them.
It has been so long since I have been in the company of another dragon.
Canaya smiled, stroking Omnirok's neck.
I know friend...I know.

Trent continued his laughter at Canaya's comment. It was almost true, if Dioman wasn't larger with even larger energy reserves, he would be passed by Omnirok, "All to true rider, although our roles shall be switched!" he shouted over the wind as Dioman sped up. They were getting rather close to the ocean, which was strange considering their starting position.

Canaya laughed aloud and turned her head to see where Trent was at that moment, they were gaining. Her mouth gaped open, Omnirok was the fastest dragon she'd seen in a long time...where'd this one come from? She turned back around, a smile on her playful lips.
Are you able to fly faster? Canaya wondered.
But of course.... Omnirok answered, he sped up, his limbs tucked in closer to his body, his wings beating with more force.

Trent smiled. He knew that Dioman could go faster than this, but the dragon was waiting until Vroengard was closer on the horizon. He could hear the dragon calculating in his head, Right about... now! Trent thought. His timing was perfect and Dioman shot forward, passing Omnirok. The great dragon tucked his wings in about a hundred yard from the beach and dived. To move faster, the dragon spun in circles. Dioman looked something like a giant, white bullet before he flared his wings and landed in a trot to help stop the momentum. Trent patted Dioman on the shoulder, most of their communication was emotional and through physical contact and not speech.
Dioman let his tounge loll out of his mouth in a large grin. He hummed the lullaby again as Trent hopped down and patted his leg.

Canaya's eyes widened when Trent has passed her and Omnirok in a few short moments. She sighed and had Omnirok land near Dioman, before he'd come to a complete stop, she had already hopped off of his back, landing on the ground with an almost inaudible thumping sound.
Good job friend. She thought to him, smiling.
"It seems I have much to learn then..." Canaya bowed her head slightly.

Trent smiled, "You are rather skilled at this, your dragon is worthy of admiration. As reluctantly as I say this, Dioman was not that fast at his age." he regretted saying this, as Dioman promptly severed their connection and went to humming the old lullaby to keep his mind focused and barred against Trent. The elf chuckled, "And now, the jealous fool isn't talking to me." he noted casually. Trent turned and began walking to the large castle that was the Rider's base and school.
