Maya was grinning as she sat in class and she had her pencil float the the sharpener and sharpen before class. She watched as the teacher wrote her name on the board and she grinned as she realised this first class was starting reading a novel, her favourite part of english.

Ryu sighed as the professor lectured about microscopic organisms and parasites. Same thing, different day. Ryu began to wonder if the professor only did this t see if any of the students notice. Unfortunately none of them were actually paying attention. Ryu stood up as the bell rang dismissing the class. He groaned as h rubbed the sleepiness from his eyes.
Walking down the corridor, Ryu ran into a fellow Hunter and discussed what seemed to be a gathering of Lycans they had to attend later this eek. Ryu knew it was he Full Moon Watch.Better to know it early than to just nervously attend with no knowledge of it in the first place. After saying goodbye to the Hunter, Ryu exited the building back into the courtyard. Many Twilight students were out there enjoying themselves. Recess as the Day students call it. Ryu walked over to a nearby wall and leaned upon it while crossing his arms.

Maya walked out of her class with mixed feelings of freedom and dread. She had only met Ryu. She decided she may just see where he is. She smiled as she saw him in the courtyard. " Were you late Mr. hunter sir." Maya teased.

Ryu raised his brow as he picked his head up and looked at Maya. Heh no not today, Miss Stevens." He said with a smile. He took a quick glance around just to make sure there wasn't any kind of commotion then back at Maya. "How was class? Good?" He asked while he took another glance around.

Maya shrugged " English is English. So, don't you ever wonder? You take twilight classes just you and the other hunters are human? I mean I am always curious as to what species people are. Which is probably wierd seeing as I'm not human either."

Ryu raised his brow and decided to explain how Twilight classes worked. "Well, since Hunters are the only humans to attend Twilight classes there presence helps keep other Twilight students in line. Since most hunters are humans this keeps the equality and safety in check since most of the Twilight students are demons or any other creature of the night. Being human kind of helps make split decisions too even though some are too nervous to react sometimes." He said as he caught what looked to be an Incubus boy hovering into the air showing off for a few Lycan girls. Ryu motioned his head to a fellow hunter who broke it up. Ryu looked back to Maya. "I didn't think you were human. because you seem to have Telekinetic abilities. At first I could of passed you off as a Gifted but it is rare for a Gifted to attend Twilight classes for fear of the Twilight students. What species are you?"

Maya smiled " I am...a special case. " I am gifted, but I'm a vampire too." Maya said with a smile. " Which I have to say sucks." Maya openly hated her species, she liked vampires who were nice but she hated what being a vampire made her do and how people feared them.

Ryu felt a tinge of pity for Maya. "It shouldn't be all that bad. i man you have the powers of a vampire but then again now you have to stay away from a lot of things. I take back that previous comment because that really sucks." He said as a bell rang signifying lunchtime or whatever it is called at night. "Well I'll get back to you in the lunch room. First gotta make sure no one approaches the Day dorms for a midnight snack." He then watched as a couple of Hunters escorted students to the lunch room.
Ryu walked away from Maya heading towards the Day dorms. He checked the boys dorm first. He checked the lock and inspected for any broken windows. He then walked off to the girls dorm and checked the door lock. He walked around the building inspecting the windows. It was all secure as he headed towards the cafeteria.

Maya cringed at the word 'snack.' as she always did when used that way, she knew they had reason to believe vampires would do such things and surely some would but she couldn't help feeling lumped into that category. She quickly grabbed a few rabbits and washed her face. She then headed to the caf full and awake. She sat at a table with nothing, one of the major signs in the school your a vampire, you don't eat caf food.

Ryu entered the cafeteria and walked over to a group of Hunters that were monitoring the place. He leaned upon the wall as a Hunter that was a demon approached Ryu and leaned upon the wall next to him. "Where have you been, Nite?" Ryu asked with his head cocked.
Nite cracked his neck and moved his eyes towards Ryu. "Class where else?" He replied as he pulled an apple from his pocket. He bit into it while juices ran down his face. "Is that a problem?"

Maya looked at Ryu and wanted to talk to him wanted to go over and speak. But she didn't think she could in front of all those hunters and the caf. Maya smirked as she dissapeared and went to see what Ryu was talking about.

Ryu frowned at Nite. "No it isn't but I didn't see you patrolling." Ryu said as he shook his head. He was already frustrated with Nite's arrogance. "I understand you are in the Twilight class but that doesn't excuse you from your duties."
Nite tossed the apple aside and pushed himself up from the wall. "Didn't think you were so eager to please daddy." Nite shot back. He then looked out to the students eating. He caught site of Maya approaching. It seemed she was cloaked from everyone else's view. He looked away from her and turned back to Ryu. "Sorry to have put your panties in a bunch." He snickered.

Maya stood behind a column in the caf and was confused at the conversation. Ryu was easy with everyone nice, honest, sweet even. But this person seemed to tweak him. She had no idea what Ryu's 'daddy' had anything to do with this.

Ryu was silent. He was growing frustrated even more with Nite. He lowered his head as the other Hunters grew silent, listening intently to the conversation.
Nite grinned as he knew he struck a nerve. He looked to the Hunters. "What's the matter? You guys looking for a fight?" He laughed as he turned his back and proceeded out of the cafeteria but not before he looked over at Maya one last time.
Ryu followed Nite out the door. "Now that I think about it." He called out to Nite. "I am looking for a fight!" He unsheathed hi katana as purifying energies swirled around the blade. Nite only gave a slight smile as he continued walking. "Don't turn your back on me." He slashed the air as a blade wave flew towards Nite. Nite stopped as his shadow rose up blacking the blade wave.

Maya made herself visible again and ran to Ryu stopping him from fighting further. " Stop it! Your going to hurt eachother and I don't know what the hell you guys have against eachother but your kind of sinking to that assholes level fighting aren't you Ryu?" Maya asked simply. She looked at Nite kind of disgusted. " Your a god dmaned hunter start acting like it."
