that's been my hardest issue is finding someone to practice with. I want to learn the language itself without using kanji because I want to speak it then write it. Kind of a this word is apple now this is what an apple looks like type of thing. Any advice on this kind of method?

Well I am actually learning Chinese too and the Kanji is not that bad to learn.

When you have learned the alphabet, I suggest getting an electronic Japanese-English English-Japanese dictionary. It is very helpful for looking things up quickly. They do cost a bit, though (maybe $200?). im still learnin japenese 2,but heres the 1s i no 2 help u out(PS,sorry if i spell them wrong!)
good morning=ohio hello=kow ni chi wa tamago=egg minna=every1 hai=yes(yah) arigato=thank u idaksimasu=lets eats (thanks for the meal) kokoro no tamago=every1s hearts egg nane=what mathae=wait shugo=guardian chara=characters shugo chara =guardian characters(also the anime show)

i know some words but umm i cant form sentences. go to tofugu.com it is pretty amazing and it has alot about culture. if you need alot of vocabulary go to iknow.co.jp okay? japanesepod101.com has many audio lessons and so does learnjapanesepod.com

i've been trying to learn japanese online and by watching japanese anime-english sub but i still don't get it, Once i think one thing means something i find out it means something tottaly different! >.< Is there any sites that can teach me japanese that acctually means what it's suppose to?
