She took it and kissed his cheek. "thank you. I'll find a way to pay you back, count on it." and then she went back into the rain.

Quigly pressed a hand to his cheek as she left and muttered, "What a day..." He picked up the phone to call one of his buds, dialing what he thought was the right number.

A musical voice filled his ears. "Goddess Technical helpline, some one will be right over to take your call, thank you."

Quigly blinked and listened to the phone. "Goddess..." He knew he should have stayed in bed this morning...just knew it...

The phone would give him a sharp, but short electrical shock a moment before the voice from the phone spoke behind him, in his other ear. "Ah, much better. Thank you for calling The Goddess Help line, what wish may I grant for you today?"

She stepped around in front of him, dressed as she is in the picture. the skirt goes to above her knees in front, but continues down to her ankles in back, and she is not holding the harp. She smiles warmly at him. "Any wish at all."

"Then it shall be granted!" she said brightly, clapping her hands. Her head tilted back and the music note symbols on her face expanded slightly and began to glow. a light emitted from the forehead one and arced to the sky then stopped before it got halfway to the cealing. Confusion filled her eyes and she took a deep breath,m closed them and again the light raced halfway up then died. "Why... can't I connect?" she mumbled, confused, and clearly trying to hide that she's alarmed.
