i'm not offended. Just wonder who's trying to pass off row-boat pushups as marine corps... i actually take alot of pride in the Corps. My grandfather served in WWII as a marine in the Pacific, my brother is currently a US Marine, and i have two close friends in the Marines. and now that my graduation is coming up, i'm considering joining the Marines too...

I had an uncle who served in the Marine Corps. He got to 1st LT than quit cuz my aunt said she would divorce him razz My grandfather also served in the Cuban Army during the revolution. Took a shot to the head, survived, couldn't afford the plate implant so now he has a soft spot (and an indent) on the corner of his forehead.

Yes. I swear I hate PT. Well not really. Just this past Fridays. Since its been raining we had to run the stairs... Ten times, thank you. And you have to run up two flights to get to second floors, run around this building, and then run down another two flights. Add to the fact that I'm going up stairs all day. My calf muscles are killing me. I was at my friend's house and its three stories... It hurt to walk up those stairs today and yesterday. I'm still sore

Any workout is a good workout! they're building you up! next thing you know you'll be running up those stairs like you're running downhill! PT is a reward, not a punishment. (although that's what i use it for [pushups]... <_<)
take everything they give you and give it back to them. Among the leadership is a rule, "Do not push those under you any more than you can push yourself."

what an odd schedule... Still though... i should PT you all into the floor... <_< for your benefit! LOL! xd
i miss PT! and my little recruits! i always hear about how first year cadets are such a handful... I mean sure their sloppy and rough around the edges but they're trying. They're not so bad later when they know how to do it...
or maybe i'm just good at it! biggrin lol, jk!

The PT at my school is pretty hard core too. We do ALOT of exercises. The instructor always shoots to give us muscle failure xd But I love. It's challenging, and I love a challenge. blaugh

My PT sucks... seriously they make us do ridiculous ammounts of stretches, on top of running 2.5 miles.

I think we got it laid back ... a couple of stretches then a 1.5 mile run around the track ... then some more stretches ... tho we do like 80 sets of flutter kicks when the days said and done ...
