Cottonwood mused about the possibilities for a moment, letting the breeze ruffle his already mussied hair.
"Perhaps we could do it together! I don't see why not." He said suddenly, breaking the small moment of silence.
"I mean to say, if we train together, there's no telling what we can accomplish. Even if we don't make it, or one of us makes it, we'll be at least more appealing come breeding season." Cotton grinned ear to ear. The thought had crossed his mind just then. To be one of the larger bucks in the warren, and to have that sort of sway over the ladies... maybe he'd find a forever mate out of it! As it was, he was sure everyone could see through the large padding he had. Underneath he was no larger than any normal buck. If he built up his muscles, worked everyday with Cowslip, why, they'd both be the better for it.
" I say we do it." Nodding his head.

"It's settled then, we won't go it alone!"
The black and white buck grinned broadly as he groomed a long, splotched ear. This truly did make his day. He had found an old friend, their friendship would remain standing, he was fitting in with the warren a little better each day...
He let out a content sight and shifted himself slightly.
"Well, I've certainly had a day and am full to boot. Going to head back to my burrow. It was a pleasure seeing you again, Cottonwood."

Cottonwood nodded his head. "It was indeed great to see you. We must get together again real soon! I will keep my eye out for you. Though i must say both of us are easy to spot." He chuckled at this, for they did indeed stand out on the hillside. "Goodbye friend."
And with that, cottonwood was off to his own burrow, content with the day's end. He had a full belly, friends, and a place to sleep. An old hutch rabbit couldn't ask for more in the wild. Today surely had been a great day.
