Hearing a slight rustle, Mauja flicked his ears back. "Eh?" he whirled his head around, but could see nothig but trees from where he stood. Brushing it off as nothing, Mauja twirled again, headed off towards the illustrious trees, hoping to find one big enough to gain altitude from. "Soooo......" Mauja enlongated his speech pattern, trying to lead the lonely hyena to a tree with him. "have you been feeling fairly sad recently? I've got just the remedy for downer hyenas like you!" he turned, smiling wickedly at the small hyena. "If you're nice, I'll show you~" Mauja smiled and winked, seeing if he would follow him further into the forest.

With nothing better to do, the Hyena followed the Cheetah, hoping he wasn't going on a suicide mission. He was already in enough pain as it is - physical and emotional. He took another step after the dark colored cheetah, dark ears flicking and black nose twitching.
A dog? He scented one near by, the scent carried on the slight breeze. He, however, didn't comment on it.

Unnoticed! Twana felt like a super dog, dodging the eye's of bad dog's. though whatever they were, theyw eren't dogs and didn't appear all to evil. She giggles again and curiously watches the pair. And then it happens.
That first little tickle just at the tip of her nose startles her. No! Her eye's widen. the curious couple were closing in and she.. ah.. hah.. hah CHOO! She howls in a slight pain at trying to hold back the sneeze she had to know would be loud no matter her attempts. Instead of stumbling out all frightened or running she sits there. Pretending like nothing happened. She nearly even had herself convinced atht nothing had happened.

Nothing could have hidden that. Mauja knew he wasn't hearing things, and narrowed his eyes, searching the treeline for the sound's source.
Gotcha.
Licking his lips, Mauja ran at top speed towards the small dog. He skidded to a screeching halt when he came within two feet of it, wrapping his long tail around it so it couldn't escape.
"And what do we have here?" Mauja smirked at his new plaything, thinking of what fun he would have terrorizing it.

Xx'ami followed, curious as to what the sound was as well. He figued it was the dog he scented earlier. How curious though. It probably ran, though, after give away its position. Upon realizing the dog way young and inexperienced - it didn't run. Xx'ami gave a sigh. Was he this stupid when he was young?

Twana wasn't afraid of the 'oncoming traffic' more startled and quite intrigued with how quickly those legs moved. "A wild dog!" She says proudly, answering his 'what do we have here' she didn't take in the fact of his tone. Nor that she'd just been captured. "Hi, I'm Twana!" She says, her tail attempting to wag beneath the pressure of the larger cats tail. That's when she spotted the other one. What was that thing. At least he could tell this one was a cat. She gives it a weird look and then smiles back up at the cat.

Nuzzling Twana on the top of her head with his nose, Mauja felt like playing games with the small pup. He began so slowly lick her head, in a grooming sort of way. His attention was now totally focused on the small pup, instead of on the hyena that had previously been stalking him.
He shifted his gaze momentarily, although he never stopped licking the pup's head, up to the hyena. "I never...." he paused in between licks. "did get your name, stalker." he ceased the licking briefly to nibble at the small pup's ear. "I'm Mauja, by the way." he whispered softly into her ear, biting it playfully once more.

What in the name of the Gods?
This cheetah just got creepier and creepier as long as he followed the strange cat. He seemed like he knew the small dog. Twana. Twana was the pup's name. Faintly aware that he was addressed by the strange cheetah, he answered "Xx'ami-da," He answered simply, not elaborating and further.

Twana giggles thoroughly enjoying he 'bath'. It tickled a little and sent gentle shivers up and down her young spine. She opens up a single eye and gazes at the funny looking pair. "Ma-Maujah." She barks in a small voice. feeling rather tiny next to these big animals. Had she done wrong by leaving the Peke Na grounds to visit her prior home and run into these animals? She gazes at the other animal, standing behind the cat-like creature licking her forehead. "X.. X?" She asks, not wanting to even try and pronounce his full name.

Mauja pouted momentarily, not enjoying the fact that Twana had diverted her attention away from him. Raising his large paw to her face, he turned her head so she now looked only at him. "Don't give that guy the time of day." his frown quickly turned into a smile. "Besides, don't you like me?" he leaned in rubbed his nose against hers.
Every once in awhile, Mauja shot wicked glances over towards Xx'ami-da, who remained in his spot the whole duration of Mauja's 'grooming' of Twana. Bored with his lame character, Mauja rose to his feet, lifting Twana up in his jaws and started to wander to a more 'secluded' part of the forest, where they wouldn't be bothered by the silent figure.

Almost resigned, Xx'ami-da dashed after the crazy cat and the pup he had practially taken hostage. The poor pup would get manhandled and such by the crazy cheetah if he didn't follow, he was sure. "Wait for me," He said sarcastically to himself and let himself keep at an even pace to follow the, obviously quicker, cheetah and the pup he had gripped in his jaws.

Twana was forced now to look at the cheetah. She didn't mind for the moment, he had a pretty face. Simple brown with a lighter fur just above his nose and dots just above his brow. His eye's were also a captivating orange. Who couldn't resist such a mix. She didn't understand much of anything when he'd stated ' the time of day' but, she did like him. And stated that. "Of course I like you!" She speaks lightly to him and gives a soft happy growl. then her nose and his were touched. It was a weird feeling having another nose against her. She reminded herself to try that with her other male friend.
It was but a few moments later that Twana felt the beast rise and take her into his jaws. Where were they going? She pondered. But, the question never came out. She'd never been carried like this. It was strange and unusual her Mum had never laid a tooth on her in fact. Was this a cat way of transporting their cubs? Were they unable to walk on their own at young ages? She kept pondering this but, stayed quiet.

Pretending to ignore Xx'ami-da's request, Mauja danced about between the trees. His eyes lowered a bit to look at the small pup, trying to imagine what kind of things he could do with her. He wasn't used to being around those younger than him, let alone pups. After all, he used to raid dog dens just for the fun of it, transporting pups to other locations.
He felt strange; it was a similar feeling to when he first sees a female. He shook his head, trying his hardest to show some restraint, especially since this was a dog. He had little scruples about being with someone so young, but a dog? It was simply unthinkable, the combination. Maybe in a few years, he could consider it........
Returning to his path, Mauja flung himself at a large tree, ladden with branches. His movements looked strange and contorted as he climbed the trunk, gently crawling onto a branch and laying there momentarily. "You should try to fly with me!" he set Twana down, yelling down towards the hyena.

Well...
Once Xx'ami got to the tree, he gave a sigh. Gods, he couldn't climb! His maw pointed up towards the branches, looking at the dog and the cheetah with a strange, almost, interest. He was curious as to how this would play out. Red eyes gleamed in a sense of fear for teh little pup. She ovbiously didn't understand the magnitude of the sitation.

Twana was unstable on the tree branch and yipped as she almost falls making her body sprawl onto the branch and she grips it tight. She gazes up at the cheetah. There was no fear. Just curiosity. "Fly?" She asked. Her head cocking just to the side. "Like a bird?" Her tone just getting more and more curious. She didn't realize how seriously hurt she could get.
