"How?" she smiled victoriously. The smile framed her face nicely, rather than the haughty scowl that was plastered onto her face. "You can buy me dinner. I'm quite hungry, and it's probably almost suppertime. That is how you can pay me back." Like all men he was probably thinking something different. And if he said it out loud, there would be hell to pay.
"The beach?" Riina clasped her hands together, excited, "That'd be awesome! And it'd be even more fun because we don't know where it is!" she giggled, her tail flicking excitedly. "Let's go!" she said, starting to march across the field.

Riome looked quite surprised by that. He thought she'd make him do something horrible. He shrugged, looking almost pleased with this, "I'd love to have dinner with you. You didn't have to be sneaky about asking," he teased, grinning, and crossing his arms, "Where would you like to go, lady?"
Liluye smiled widely, and hopped after her, "I heard there are fish taur in the ocean!" she said, excitedly, "I hope we get to see some! Its such an odd idea, living under the water..." she trailed off thoughtfully, staring off ahead of her as they walked.

"Who wouldn't want to have dinner with me?" Palladia continued to smile, "You don't see someone this beautiful everyday." the centauress shrugged, "Just make sure the food is edible. That's all I'm asking for."
"I've heard of them!" she gushed, "I've heard many stories about them when I was a kit! They can sing you know!" Riina looked away dreamily, "I heard they sing like angels! Maybe even better!"

"I'll say..." he said, then brushed it off by looking up thoughtfully, "Edible...hm." He blinked, then grinned, "Does cake sound good? I know where we can get some really good ones," he seemed rather excited by the idea. He LOVED cakes.
She looked wistful, "Oh, I'd love to hear them, I love singing!" She grinned, and fluttered a little bit, singing for a brief moment, then landing again. Being a bird, she had quite the sweet voice. Not quite that of an angel, however.

"Cake? That sounds wonderful, where is the place?" Palladia's tail swished impatiently, waiting for him to lead the way.
Riina giggled, "But, I think you have the best voice! It's so high-pitched and pretty!" the foxtaur leaned closer to the harpy, "But let's not say that to the fish-taurs...they might get angry at us..."

He chuckled, and started walking towards town, "Cake, and maybe some ale," he said, sounding like he hadn't made up his mind. He shouldn't drink at this time of day, but just one cup wouldn't hurt. "Any particular kind of cake you prefer?"
Liluye blushed, grinning and giggling, "Thank you!" she listened to her, then snickered, "I won't say anything to them, don't worry. Don't want to make them jealous," she said, joking of course.

"Anything sweet would be lovely." she followed him, "Ale? At this time of day?" she raised at eyebrow at him, "Shouldn't you wait a while before drinking ale? Or you could just drink cider." Palladia looked away, "What's your favorite cake?"
Riina smiled, enjoying her time spent with her new companion, she stopped to sniff the air tilting her head, "Hmm...I don't smell the sea yet. I guess we gotta walk some more."

Riome looked at her, then shrugged, "I guess I could...I mean, the ale has been pretty weak lately, so one mug wouldn't have any effect at all. But if you'd rather have cidar." He frowned, and looked up, crossing his arms over his chest, "My favorite cake...to be honest, anything with oranges or strawberries in it. Ever had orange cake? It sounds weird, but damn is it delicious."
Liluye giggled, "Well, I could fly up for a second, and make sure we're heading in the right direction?" she offered, smiling widely, "Just high enough to make sure we're heading away from the mountains," she said, laughing again, "That would be counter-productive."

"Oranges?" she rolled her eyes, 'Stupid fruit for a stupid taur.', Palladia smiled, not feeling too polite, "Sounds st-...er. Wonderful." Why was she even trying to be nice to this centaur. The man could barely defend himself from a promiscuous cattaur! Palladia trotted along, "Let's get to this place already! I'm hungry!" well...she was hungry, so she would have to bear with him for a while.
"Yeah!" Riina nodded, "That's a great idea! It would help a lot too!" the foxtaur smiled, tail bristling with excitement. She always wondered how a harpy took to the air. 'It must be graceful...' she thought.

He watched her, eyebrows raised. He sighed, rolling his eyes, but not commenting. She just disagreed with him, for the sake of disagreeing, didn't she? He trotted faster to keep up with her, "Alright, alright. Its not far. I think you'll make it."
Liluye grinned, glad she was able to be helpful. She hopped a little bit away, flapped her wings, then set off at a short, but quick run, before stretching out her wings and soaring up into the air, circle once, to show off a little, then heading up at a sharp angle. She'd be honest, she wanted to impress Riina.

"I better make it." she narrowed her eyes at him, telling him that she was not pleased. Palladia sped up a little, inviting competition smirking at him and tossing her hair back.
Riina watched, her eyes big and wide. She clapped excitedly, cheering Liluye as she took to the air. "...That's so cool..." she whispered to herself in awe.

Riome raised his eyebrows, then smirked and sped up as well, glancing at her every couple of seconds, "You challenging me, beautiful?" he said, smirking wider.
Liluye was very pleased with the reaction, and circled above the treetops for a moment, before swooping down and landing smoothly next to Riina, ruffling her feathers proudly, and pointing, "We have to go a little more in that direction."

"Maybe I am." Palladia winked at him, and sped into a full gallop. "I don't think you can beat me, handsome." she froze momentarily, realizing what she just said. 'Did I really just say handsome?!'. Palladia shook her head, and started to gallop again, faster than before.
Riina continued to clap until Liluye hit the ground. "That was awesome!" she squealed. After she calmed down, Riina looked in the direction the harpy had pointed to. "Let's go then!"

Riome laughed lightly, moving faster to keep pace with her. He looked surprised by what she said, but his shocked look, turned into a grin, "We'll have to see, won't we?"
"Thanks!" Liluye made a happy chirp, then started hopping in that direction, folding her wings against her again, and slowing to her usual bird-walk.

Palladia laughed, trying to shake off her slight shock. "We both know who's going to win." she was side by side with him, a devious thought coming to mind. "Hey. How about the first person that reaches the tavern...pays the tab at the end? What do you say?"
Riina walked in pace with Liluye, not minding how slow she walked.
