A young man in semi-soiled black silk staggers forward, whispering hang-overishly to himself, "I got me out of the last one, it's your turn."he then stopped, apparently listening for something no one else could hear, and after an especially quiet minute or so, he sighs audibly, sitting down on a fallen log mumbling, "interesting to watch my rear-end...no offense, but i am having difficulty imagining why your laughing so hard, and if your going to do it, go to someone else's head for a while? please?" And with that, he moans, and cradles his head in his hands.

As he passed calmly through what he considered to be a serene forest, a tall and elegant man happened across the hung over young Torvelion. He paused, cocking his head to one side, silver hair spilled across his shoulders and in front of his face. After a moments contemplation he started forward again, kneeling before the unfortunate young man, he gazed at him with his pale blue eyes, and a musical voice intruded apon Torvelions reverie. "Pardon me, do you require any assistance? are you lost? I live nearby, and I am a healer, might there be anything I can do to help?"

Torvelion, looking up from his misery, answers the silver-haired man, saying, "yes, you can help me, by talking a little more quietly, and providing me with a prairie oyster, if you know what it is. and yes, I am lost, where am I? and what day is it?" he then turned around and wretched noisily on the other side of the log.

Leo suddenly found himself somewhere other than where he had been a moment before. Being native to Matri, he didn't give the anomaly more than a moment's thought but shrugged it off as bad luck. Leo glanced around and finding nothing but trees began walking around slowly looking for any recognizable land marks.
After a few moments Leo caught sight of something through the trees. Upon closer inspection Leo noticed two people talking to each other. One appeared to be drunk and both were obviously in the same predicament as himself. This could be fun! he thought to himself. Leo then crept forward then burst into the clearing calling out in his loudest voice "People! Thank the gods I've found people!"

Cringing, and clutching his head, torvelion yelled, "AAGH... if you don't shut up, at this rate my head will explode." with a flick of his wrist, a knife embedded itself in a tree noisily, slicing a few hairs from the side of the newcomer's hair, he then resumed his whimpering, and clutched his head muttering, "that woman had a hollow leg and a hole in her boot, i swear." Torvelion then stood, somewhat unsteadily, announcing, " alright Mr. healer, I need SOMETHING, as long as it helps, and I need to get out of this...strange, forest," noticing the weird foliage for the first time. He then picked up his silver bladed quarterstaff, and looking expectantly at the silver-haired man.

Illusor turned to the newcomer, as his face shifted away from the young Torvelion his lips twitched in amusement. but he quickly recovered his normal control. "Greetings, my name is Illusor, are you lost as well? I live nearby and I know the area, might I be of any assistance?" He smiled at Leo, before glancing back at Torvelion and reaching into a pocket hidden in his robes, he pulled out a small bottle, a cup and a larger bottle with pale grey liquid in it. "This should rid you of your ah...hangover." He said with an ironic smirk. "I am not particularly familiar with these 'prairie oysters' but I can assure you that powdered Kanethi leaves and Sacri wine is sworn by in these regions." He then opened the smaller vial, sprinkled a small amount of the powder in the cup and filled it the rest of the way with his 'wine'. He handed this concoction to Torvelion. "Give it a try, it should help."

"Oh, do you have a hang over? I'm terribly sorry. I was so excited at seeing people that I didn't notice. And yes, as you said I am quite lost."
Leo came closer to the two in order to be at a more conversational distance. "Again I must appologise, I have not yet introduced myself. I am called Leo. What are your names?

Torvelion, takes the concoction, and gilps it down, then sighs noisily, wiping his mouth with the back of one hand, " I am Lucian Elvern, I am a trader of sorts, I need to find my way back to Archglen, do you know which way I need to go?" as he spoke, his rumpled black silks became quite cean, and well pressed. Torveliom then muttered a soft oath, then watched to see if either of the others noticed.

whether or not Illusor had noticed Lucian's clothing transformation was debatable, he simply smiled at Leo's soft-spoken question, bowed slightly to them both and said in a calm and even tone, "Why certainly, Lucian and I had just been preparing to travel to my abode, you are welcome as well." and with that he began to depart as elegantly as he had arrived, transversing the thick foliage with the ease only a Matritian wanderer could.
((PS. just a reminder, but Gryphons have an innate truth spell, although leo is only a quarter gryphon it still makes it hard to tell partial lies and impossible to tell blatant ones in his presence. Leo is only SLIGHTLY more immuned to this affect than other people. Just so you guys remember.))

The three figures who now wandered deep in the forest at the southern border of the continent of Tarin. Near the eastern edge of the town of Parte'. Meanwhile, north of the scourge Plains yet still well south of Dracatopia castle, a remarkably quiet dimensional portal appears, and the young Chimera-prince Erevek, stepped through uneasily onto his own home soil. he glanced around breifly, and with a quick gesture tossed a small chain over his own neck. with a glitter of magic a black-haired human now walked quietly and unheralded into the forests of Matri.

Drakian groaned feeling the splitting headache that the dawn of every morning brought to him after a night of flagrant alcoholism. He reached his hand over the side of the bed feeling around for a bottle with some liquid sill within it, he knocked over a few more empty ones, but they went unnoticed, as the rest of the room was so full of bottles, in varying degrees of fullness and whole ness, that the carpet was no longer visible even through the glass. A few thoroughly shattered piles were now made into buzzard dragon nests. The man himself had fallen to a new low. He had no clue when the last time he shaved or had a hair cut, as proved by his chest length beard and waist length hair, it was filthy, matted with dried food, vomit and somebodies blood. In fact his entire room was redolent with those three scents. He finally found a full bottle and took an eager sip, and then began to choke. "Who mixed tequila and tabosco sauce?" he asked no one in particular.

Leo followed the two, more out of curiousity than any feeling of obligation or necesity.

((Okay since it does not appear as though Torvelion is going to post...))
Illusor lead the two newcomers neatly through the forests of Matri, the deep almost jungle-like foliage stretched up nearly as far as the eye could see. sunlight rarely seemed to filter through the thick canopy. yet despite this lack, as they walked it grew uncomfortably warm. Illusor passed through bushes, and by plants with seemingly little adverse affect on his attire. Yet when Lucien attempted to do the same the thick branches snagged at him almost as if they had a will of their own. The insects that seemed to awaken at their passing, and also had an unnusual tendancy to ignore the silver-haired healer, did little to soothe the nerves of the travelers. Nor did the fact that Illusor seemed to be the only person absolutely certain they were not traveling in circles, and that the endlessly similar trees were indeed different ones...

The gadmir slammed into the earth face first deadly maw wide open, spewing its acidic venom. Andrea Jamie Wayfarer smirked then leapt nimbly out of the way as acid sizzled the ground behind her. "HYAA!" She sliced cleanly through the serpent's neck, then reversed the direction of her blade, pinning the partially severed head to the ground.
"Whew, this one was a smart one, almost snuck up behind me." She sighs in releif stretching her lithe form. Then she draws a mid sized dagger from her belt and begins expertly disecting the fallen serpent. Keeping parts of it for sale, food, and supplies. The bounty was high on this individual, it had been attacking the small town nearby incessently for three months. She had heard that in the old days, such problem creatures were reptorted to all local bounty hunters as soon as the first fatality surfaced. But ever since Fubrant took power the status of things declined.
She sighd again, remembering what she could of her childhood. She had traveled with her brother and grandmother. Sometimes she'd even hang out at the castle with the Prince Backdraft. That brought a much less pleasing thought to mind. Anyone even mildly associated to the crown was discovered dead. Murdered in a myriad of ways. She hated to think what might have become of the young ponytailed boy.
