Damian was a bit wounded by his own attack. Still, his will lives on. He crawls towards Jarel and attempts to simply pin the man. Of course, this early in the match would probably result in a one count.

Jarel does indeed kick out at one and rolls to the side, getting to his feet slowly

Damian knew that that was going to happen this early in the match. Choosing to release the pin, he seems to favor picking up his opponent.

Jarel throws a few body shots at Damian's ribs, looking to force him back long enough to stand up

Knowing the amount of pain that Jarel can inflict, Damian covered his gut with one arm once the first few punches connect. He can hardly breathe as the wind is pushed back from the force of the bull.

Jarel stands up and attempts to irish whip Damian to the ropes, looking to follow up with a rolling spinebuster when he bounces back

Damian was swung by the ropes by the sheer force of the whip. He prepares for the worst that if he cannot get a good attack before he reaches his destination. As he is coming back from his flight to the ropes, he hardens himself from the full impact of the spinebuster as he is about to grab and slam over on to the mats of the ring! This is where his judo training might have saved him.

Again, the Rider manages to kick out. It was a bit closer to the win, however.

Jarel stays focused, not getting frustrated with this close call. he looks to push Damian to a sitting position and lock in a reverse chin lock

The vice was clamping on Damian's neck, squeezing out any good breathes of air from coming in. As the vice comes in tighter and tighter, Damian tries to get one leg standing. If that can somehow works, he would try to get his whole body to stand.
The crowd was on their feet as they cheer for the Rider to put all his will into action.

Jarel keeps the hold in as Damian gets to one leg, then manages to stand the whole way up. Now it was time to switch tactics. Jarel switches his grip and tries for a side russian leg sweep

And just when Damian can manage to almost get himself free, Jarel manages to get one step ahead of Damian. Damian landed back first on the mat, managing to only lessen it to a degree.

Damian did not let the pin last no more than a count as he kicks out of the pin. He got to quickly get the momentum back to his side.
