Imum Coeli Kendo Girl Motoko Yup a new -H-I-M- album should be out in October/November and they should be releasing a new single called Under The Roses soon 3nodding I'm not sure a name is officially confirmed but what you call 'Under The Roses' is actually a Ville solo album. From what I hear, it's very influenced by his recent Apocalyptica/The Rasmus encounter.
Meh, whatever Ville wants to do is fine by me. I'd be interested to see him do a solo album, and see if he can make it sound different to HIM. After all, he does write all of HIM's songs and lyrics, so I'd like to see him try something different.

I'm not sure. I was assuming 'Under the Roses' is what you were reffering to as Ville's Solo album. It could be a HIM song, all I know is that Ville is doing a solo album. I think it will be good. Look at how well Linde's solo album turned out. You have a point though. Since he writes all of the band's stuff, it will probably be more HIM influenced than Daniel Lioneye was (which wasn't anything like HIM). From a reliable source, I heard that Ville's solo album will be some what country influenced. That should be interesting. I'm not too worried though, knowing where Ville's musical roots come from. biggrin I think it'll rock.

yeah, the HIM streeteam/eteam site says they're going to be in the studio again this summer. so they should have a new CD soon i guess.
Ville doing a solo album!!!! YAY!!! whee
has anyone heard the Ville/Apocalyptica/Lauri Ylonen song? i want to sooooooooooooooo bad... it would freaking rock.

Well, I had heard last year that they would be coming out with one in 2005 and they have been playing some new songs in concert. So a cd is in the works.

Viselle sent me a song, and they said it'd be on their next album. It's from a concert or something. But we believe it may be called "The Underground" surprised So excited! whee

I don't mean to critize any of the artists, but in my opinion, the song is crap.
I so looked forward to listening to it, and when I did, i was very disapointed, although the video looks good.
If you still haven't heard it, if you have msn, then pm and i'll give my addy and send it. Its worth listening to, but just to take away the curiousity.
The thing thats makes it so bad, is Ville's deep voice, and Lauri's high voice. In the song, at a point, they sing together. sweatdrop The lyrics are good, but together the voices really clash.
I don't mean to say it's a disaster from start to finish, but it is alot worse that i expected of Ville and Lauri. But hey, nobodys perfect.. and maybe my expectations were set a little too high?

I'm on the HIM street team, so I interviewed Mige by phone last week. He said they were already mixing the album and it should be coming out real soon.
