"Ah yes. The garden is a safe haven for most however there are rumors that darker spirits walk amongst us." Sir Anstice shook his head. "Hm... But enough about that. Care to tell me a little about yourself, my lady?"

"Oh, well, there's nothing much to tell... I was a geisha in my past life; I think I was good at it too, though my memory is a bit fuzzy for some reason." Once Fai got started the female continued on and on until she was done with her train of thought. "I remember lots of parties and dancing with the bright candlelight." Her eyes seemed to brighten at the images she was bringing to the front of her mind.
"What about you?"

Sir Anstice blinked a few times. "A geisha?" He questioned. From where he was from, there was of no such thing. At least not to his awareness. "Ah, I'm afraid I do not know what that is... My sincerest apologizes."
He began to think about his own origin. He thought about it for quite some time... Nothing came to mind. He just remembered sitting up upon a mantle, gazing out into a room filled with decorations, children laughing and cheering with joy as they teared open presents. "...I do believe I was nothing more than a holiday figure." He shook his head in disappointment. He was nothing extravagant and his life was dull, only gaining some interesting aspects after the house burned down in which he was placed. There was a fire one winter that engulfed the whole house.
Watching the parents rush about, picking up their children and leaving everything behind... including him... pained him. If only he were real back then, would he have been able to warn them of the fire that caught on the stocking just below?

"A geisha is an entertainer, many mistake us for ... " She paused for a moment and her face flushed but she had to continue on. "Prostitutes but we are not! Professional geisha are merely entertainers, be it dance or art or verse." She whined softly her face still flushed at the thought of being pressured into sex simply because customers had been ignorant of her purpose... but that was all in the past now.
"Holiday figure? You look nothing like holiday figures from where I come from." Fai'Mai chittered softly before examining him a little further.

"An entertainer, as in a dancer? Ah... I see. I do believe I understand. However, pressuring any person into a sexual experience is quite wrong..." Sir Anstice shook his head in disgust at the thought. Why would anyone do that to another person? And by the guess of it... this lovely woman here endured the same fate.
Turing to look at her, Anstice smiled a bit. "Ah, I am more from the Western world I believe... I might be wrong though." A chuckle escaped his lips. "I never put much thought into that. I just enjoyed putting smiles on other's faces."

"Ah, well I have heard of Santy Claws, the younger children often ran around with chocolates shaped like him, but he was an old gray bearded man." She said with a small smile before tilting hr head once again. "That is very sweet though, being able to bring joy to others is a wonderful feeling when its pure."

"Santy Claws? Oh. Santa Claus." He chuckled as he walked along side her. "I've seen him a few times. Though he didn't come through the chimney like all the stories say. He came in through the front door. It was odd..." He looked up at the sky as he thought about it.
It was really odd. Never through the chimney... and never late at night when people were asleep. He just assumed Santa wanted to bring joy to the children's hearts. Boy... was he the biggest child there was. But he was in a way similar to a child since he was around the beliefs of children for years and soon took them in as his own.
Sir Anstice smiled at Fai'Mai. "It is very sweet... You know, Lady Fai'Mai... I wish that I can see you again someday. It would be wonderful. You're a kind and lovely women and I'd like to get to know you better." He stopped and bowed to her, gently taking her hand as he planted a small kiss on it. "Would you grant me that wish?"

Fai'Mai blinked a few times, unused to being treated like a lady (she may have made it clear she was no object, but she was still treated like one by the rough warriors) but she was enjoying it. "Of course, I would love to be able to see you again, that is a wish I am easily able to grant."

Happiness overwhelmed the nutcracker spirit as he smiled up at her. "Thank you... so much." His words were truly sincere. He felt like a child that opened a gift on Christmas day to find it to be the gift they wanted so much.
"I will be looking forward to each day then. And when the day comes where I meet you again... will be one of the best days of my life." He nodded and began to walk along the path once more, stopping to see if she would follow. Sir Anstice didn't realize how odd his words were to someone since he never really conversed with another before in his whole life. Now that he was able to find something - no - someone that made him so happy he wanted to make that person smile whenever he could. And him smiling along the way was just an added treat that he was grateful for.

Fai'Mai giggled a bit at the sweet tone he had taken, surprised by his eagerness but she detected no hidden motive in his words. She hurried her pace to follow him at least until their paths split down the road. "And I shall be looking forward to it as well."

Sir Anstice smiled as she caught up to him. "I'm glad." That happy smile never left his face as he continued to walk with her until the time came when their paths did have to part. When that time came he bowed to her once more and softly kissed her hand as he bid farewell. He knew they would see each other again and he would wait for that day. As he watched the other begin her way back home he sighed with contentment, returning back home as well. Oh how he couldn't wait for their next encounter! It couldn't come soon enough.
