Pharaoh Ramases First off, what are all the categories? This game might be kind of fun. Second off, I'm making a couple of picks. Best Revival--Pacific Overtures. Saw it and it was very well done. Best Actress--Eden Espinoza, Brooklyn. Unbelievable voice in the perfect role for her. Best Musical--as said, most are coming out soon, but as of right now, Brooklyn. In a couple weeks, I'll probably change that. Best Costumes--Brooklyn. Where else can you see dresses made out of trashbags and coat hangers? i want pacific overtures to win, but fat chance. i really want to be wrong, but i'm thinking it's going to la cage...not to mention there's still chitty chitty bang bang and sweet charity (even though the latter looks HORRIBLE). brooklyn might get the best score for a musical, but with all the stuff coming out, it's too early to say which will get best new musical. and if i'm not mistaken, i think costumes go to the DESIGNER, not the show. it's time the designers get credit. but i agree, tobin ost should get the tony for brooklyn.

I knew they went to the designers, but I didn't know the name off-hand. One of my teacher's who went to NYC with us actually knew the director. So, we got to go look backstage and actually got to meet Eden!!!!

As much as it pains me to say this… but the only award Brooklyn MIGHT have a chance of winning is “Best Featured Actress in a Musical” for the Ramona.
It’s a fantastic show that many people love, but the critics hated it. I will really be suprised if it stays open long enough to reach the Tony's. If you look at the reviews, the only thing anyone said positive things about was it on was Ramona, saying that she stole the show.
"Spamalot" and "Dirty Rotten Schounrals" are gone sweep the awards. With Sutton Foster taking her second Tony for "Best Leading Actress in a Musical."
I don't know all the categories off hand, but you can find them at the Tony Awards website I think.

BentoMaker_Yung-I sutton foster's the only incentive for the public to see little women, i think. I don't know. All the reviews I read were good. Then again, they all say that Sutton's performance to be at the same level that Idina's was in Wicked.
