Well, the Valkyries don't normally use their wings that much, but there's an FMV where they look more natural, but still very ethereal.

And no, in the first game VP/VP:Lenneth she doesn't leave any feathers lying around. I don't know about Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria as I've not played it yet.

Which FMV is that? Do you suppose it could be found on youtube? I gotta tell ya, I looked at the intro for Valkyrie Profile Covenant of the Plume and the wings do seem ethereal like you pointed out so, maybe they've dona that in all the games.

Gee, it's too bad you haven't even tried the second one yet. I have started to play the Covenant game more and it seems to me that this one is more about getting revenge on a Valkyrie more than anything else. Do you get to reap "sin" in the VP game you are playing? Cuz in the one for DS, everytime you deal the killing blow on an opponent, you also get to overkill it with extra blows after the HP of the opponent have lowered to zero. That's one of the things you need in order to finish a mission successfully.

Hey! You know what other wings I just thought of? The ones Mario get to wear in some of his games. You know about Mario bros, right Mel? I believe it was the version for the N64 & DS the one where he got to use wings to fly. However, those wings are pretty weird, not to mention too small for anyone to fly with them, he-he. lol

This is why I said not to play it because it's set further on from the original story. It's about this guy wanting revenge on Lenneth because she used his father as an Einherjar previously, ok? You don't know the back story at all, hence the problem here with you making that statement.

Why don't you look on YouTube yourself and look up Valkyrie Profile movies/FMVs (whatever)?

Sorry Mel, I just don't understand which statement of mine you mean.
Also, I had no problem getting into the story even if I had no knowledge of any previous VP games.

Yeah, that's what I thought... I'll go look some up then!

So, you had nothing to say about the wings on Mario? I guess nobody else does... stare

Lost in a Dream World

So we are talking about people that could fly? (well the fiction idea that they could). so basically we are talking about Angels. Angels are said to people who are...the goodness on the earth right? people who have never get angry, kind, forgiving, basically saints. And there is clearly not enough of them in the world, and the ones who are never ever lasted long thats a proven fact.

When it comes down to it there are to sci-facts that stops the idea of flying with wings. gravtey and the fact that you wont be able to live for long (sucucation). DOnt get me wrong i love the idea since i was a kid but that im older im understanding thats most likely never going to happen

Yeap! That's pretty much it although we can always chat about wings or winged beings here. A while back me and the guild's owner were discussing about Valkyrie profile so we can also talk about games and such that feature winged beings.

I agree with you about sci-facts and how right now we have no way of making someone fly with manufactured wings. I remember seeing some efforts from people in the early 20th century try to fit wings to other people so they could fly and the only thing that has actually worked are the so called "gliders". I think there's even a sport called hang gliding but that's about it. Have you ever seen the Marvel comics or any of the X-men movies? I wonder how they explain the fact that the character of "the angel" can fly by having organic wings attached to his back. I mean, it sounds impossible but maybe if I hear the explanation then might not be as impossible, I don't know.
