Seiji turns to smile at Zhane before he nods to him "I will keep Sellexi and Nirendra busy. Why not going enjoy some time with my mom?" turning away, he carefully picks up Sellexi as he leads Nirendra down one of the small paths.
Nirendra holds onto two of the basket, her eyes darting around the area until she spot a bright blue egg. Giggling, she tugs on Seiji's shirt to make him stop as she runs off to pick up the egg. Coming back to them, she place the egg in Sellexi's basket.
Tinania slips her hand into Zhane as she watches the kids run off, a smile spreading across her lips. Looking at Zhane, she smirks "I think they will be gone for alittle. Did you want to go look for something to eat and hangout at a table while we wait for them?"

Zhane watched after them a little longer, making sure Seiji wasn't in over his head keeping tabs on both girls in a place that was much bigger than the yards and lakesides of Moon Haven. At last, confident that they were going to be fine for awhile, he looked to Nani, placing an arm around her back.
"That sounds nice" he said, nearly being sideswiped by a pair of overly-eager small kids trying to race each other to a striped egg that sat in a tuft of grass. "...and probably for the best, so we're not blocking traffic." he added, laughing as he started toward the shaded picnic area with her.
"Didn't know you were hungry, did you miss breakfast?" he asked.

Tinania blushes before she nods alittle "Yea, I spent most of the morning trying to get Seiji to put that bow tie on. Have you ever tries chasing after a dragon that can fly as fast as you? Its not easy." pushing a fer of her bangs away from her face, she relaxes against his as he leads them away form the children.
Setting Sellexi down on the ground, Seiji glances around before he points towards blue egg with green strips "Sellexi go grab that one." as he continues to scan the area, she runs over to pick up a bright red egg by small rock near a tree.
Nirendra also found a egg, but this one a rainbow color one. Leaning down to pick it up from under the brush is was hidden. She places it into her basket as she looks back toward the other two. Moving over towards them she smiles alittle "I found one."

Sellexi rose to the challenge eagerly, scampering forward as quickly as her tail would allow her to as she half-crawled half-slithered through the lush grass to lay tiny blue hands on the striped egg indicated. She didn't know what one was supposed to DO with the eggs once they had them, but just having them was good enough for the moment.
"Well if its anything like trying to fish a mermaid out of a pond and then try to explain to her WHY she has to wear a lace dress and hat, I feel your pain." he said. The picnic area was choked with adults who'd all seemed to have the same idea they did. It was not, by any means, a good place to try and have a quiet conversation.
Nonetheless, weaving through the parents and few teens that had come along but were too old to participate in the hunt, eventually they made it to a table with a checkered cloth on it, arranged with a variety of fruit, bottles of juice, muffins, and various other breakfast-type foods that had been generously provided by the hosts of the party.
Zhane leaned in to nuzzle her affectionately. "You pick out what you want, love, I'll see if I can find us somewhere to sit off to the side."

Nirendra glances towards Sellexi, holding up her rainbow colored egg "I got one!" she was so excited to find one, and such a colorful one at that. Cupping it carefully in her arms, she rocks it back and forth like its a little kid. Looking up at Seiji, she smiles to him "We gonna find more?"
Seiji chuckles as he looks down at the single egg he had himself. Looking towards Sellexi, he holds his arm out towards her "Up, and yes we are Ren." hopefully they would continue to find colorful ones.
Tinania smiles as she watches Zhane walk away from her. Looking over the platters of food, she picks up a plate as she place some fruit onto her plate. pausing at the whipped cream, she also add some of that into her plate as she pick up two banana nut muffins.
Turning away from the table, she makes her way towards the dirction Zhane had gone.

It had taken a bit of searching, before he'd simply given up on the picnic ground entirely, finding instead a gnarled out-of-the-way tree that was a safe distance from the others' conversations that they could actually hear one another.
He unshouldered the bag, setting it down beside him before turning to search for Nani in the crowd and offer her a wave when he saw her. He hoped this would be all right. Taking the kids out to have fun was one thing, but he really wasn't in the mood to plunk down on a bench beside total strangers and try to make small talk.
There'd be time for that later...when he was an addled old man inflicting himself on random people in the park to tell his life's story to.

Tinania smiles as she moves her way over to wear Zhane was seating. Taking a seat next to him, she smiles as she looks up in the direction of the kids. She could see Seiji carrying Lexi once more, as he chases after Ren. It seem they were all enjoying themselves, and that was all that mattered to her at this point.
Looking towards Zhane, she leans in to relax against him for a moment "This is nice, I was hoping we would have to share a place to seat with the others." not that she didn't mind, but she also like to have some time with Zhane.

As she settled in beside him, ne placed an arm around her, hugging her close to him. "I feel the same." he assured her when he let go so that she could eat without feeling smushed. "I mean lookit'em all." he said, turning his eyes back to the throng of adults, young and old. "All of them got dressed up in their finest spring outfits to come here and talk about their kids with each other..."
He gave a chuckle, turning his eyes back to her. "Think we'll end up like that someday?"

Tinania looks over at the older adult, thinking about what Zhane had asked her. Turning her head, she looks back towards the child. It seem in a way they were getting to that already. With a light chuckle, she looks back at Zhane as she takes a bite out of a piece of strawberry.
"Yea I could see it, but only if we both want that. I don't want that to happen unless we are both ready." looking away, she place the strawberry back down into the plate before she reaches for her glass of orange juice.

He blinked, having not meant to turn the topic quite in that direction as he cleared his throat. With three kids to chase around as it was, bringing another into the equation anytime soon really hadn't even entered his mind.
....but at least she was of the same opinion of it as he was, as she seemed to be on many things. So that was good to know.
"I'm sorry I was out of touch for the last few days." he said at last, giving her a moment to eat. "Finding a job's been a little harder than I thought."

Tinania shakes her head before she leans back alittle "Its alright Zhane, I fully understand really. These day, its very hard to find a job. I went to talk to my friend back at my mother's haven, but even she doesn't have anything open." pausing, she runs her hand lightly over her stomach before she chuckles "Have you thought about working for a magazine? I bet your pictures would be amazing."

"Its funny you ask that..." he told her, shifting his position to be a little more comfortable against the trunk of the tree. "I found out a couple days ago that while I was gone, my dad mailed some of my photos off to a few magazines...."
He paused a moment, letting it linger there. "One of them decided to use a few of them in an issue they're still working on. Its not anything HUGE yet, but its a start..."

Tinania finds herself smiling as she leans over to brush a kiss against Zhane's cheek "That great Zhane! See I told you your photos were amazing. You should make a career out of it. I bet you would be making alot of money if you do." falling quiet once more, she looks down at her nearly empty plate before looking back towards the kids.
They were still finding eggs, so she wasn't to worried about them. Looking up at the sky, she smiles watching a few of the bird fly by.

"I wouldn't mind it, to be honest." he said, watching her even as she watched the birds. "Its just a hard business to break into. I'll just have to keep throwing photos out to different places and hope one of them actually wants me on a regular basis...."
His mind turned to the bag he'd brought from the car situated beside them, and what he'd put in it while packing it the night before when she had still been asleep.
"Its given me time to actually sort through them all and pick out my favorites. I started putting them together in an album, actually..."
