"Oh, how rude of me.. I truly have lost my senses." Victoria sighed. "King Ashnard, I'm Sister Victoria of Etruria, but... here, just Victoria. I was a wanderer up until now."

Aran was in the main room, just sitting. Ashnard was nearby, so he didn't need to worry about The Darkness. He heard someone come in, and it sounded like Victoria. He got off the chair, and walked towards where he heard her and Ashnard talking. "Miss Victoria, is the fight over? Did anyone die?" The Halberdier sure hoped nobody died, even if Rei was still evil, he didn't want him to die.

Amelia hated making dramatic entrances, honestly. First limping in and leaning on her lance as if it were a cane after duking it out with Tacitus, then coming in half-frozen after the blizzard at Christmas, and there was probably more that she couldn't remember. And now she could add to the list; coming through the front door, supported by both Rhys and Father Renault, with one arm wrapped around her chest to hide any exposed skin from the narrow cross-like slashes and stifle the bleeding, her side stained deep red, legs wobbling, free arm around Rhys' shoulder. She had refused to be carried. She wasn't dying, she could walk. Amelia began to regret it, though; by now her breathing was labored and while she didn't look in danger of dying, she clearly looked in need of a bed, and fast.
Amelia looked up to the main room, taking in deep, raspy breaths. Aran was in the main room, as well as Sister Victoria. Oujay had also made it back to the house, which was good. She could hear clattering in the kitchen, she didn't have the foggiest as to who was the person creating them. She smiled sheepishly over at the three. "H-Hey... Um... someone mind giving these two a break and help me to my room...?" she asked hesitantly, laughing uncertainly. Could use another Heal Staff use, too...
[[We're just going to say that Father Renault helped Rhys get me to the house because he's not been online and Rhys would've killed me without trying if he attempted to carry me the entire way or keep me from falling on my face in my weakened state. 8D"]]

"Looks like I got my answer." Amelia looked to have taken some pretty serious wounds, at least she was alive though. Aran went to relieve Father Renault of his job and helped Amelia get to a bed. There was most likely an extra one in the main room, although Miss Victoria's wounds weren't as bad as Amelias. So if there was only one then she'd have to move.

"I can walk, just get me to my room," she mumbled after giving Aran a quiet thanks. She nodded to both Rhys and Father Renault before slowly going towards the hallway, thankful that her quarters weren't upstairs. Once she had reached the door, she thanked Aran again. She looked into the room, at the bed, then thought of her wounds, probably in need of cleaning off and covering. She looked back to the Soldier.
"I better bandage myself up, and... uh..." Amelia trailed off, rubbing the back of her head as her face flushed a bright red. "I can do it myself... So..."

"Okay, we're in the main room if you need us." Aran walked back to where the others were with Father Renault and Rhys. (Short post is short, not much else to add)

Victoria saw Amelia, Rhys, and Renault pass her. Good, they were safe. Elmine, you know mercy after all. For a moment, she thought that her Saint and Goddess had forsaken her again, but this time, they meant to spare her and the others. She remembered what her adopted father of the abbey told her just before she escaped with the others.
The Goddess and our Saint have plans for you. They've told me. You must live, Victoria, so you can carry out those plans. I'm old. I've done all I can do in the name of the Goddess's will. Your turn will come soon enough.
My turn, huh? Well, living to wander was an eye-opener. And she knew as soon as she was back up to full strength, she'd use the little surprise she had stored away in the house.

"Ah, it's nice to be back" Dropping his bag Chad took in a deep breath while looking at the manor. He'd only been in Learania for a short time and the manor was probably the closest thing he'd had to a home since the orphanage. Chad had been out of the area for a couple of days doing a job, what the object of said job was in the bag he'd just dropped. A bag about big enough to carry a child's head, inside wasn't a child's head however. He was a theif, not some crazy excutionist.
Slinging said bag over his shoulder, he made his way into the house, heading towards the main room, where he noticed a conglomeration of people. None of which he knew, like I said he's only been there a short time, but he recognised some faces he'd seen while wandering the halls. There was the red-headed bishop who, along with another bishop, was helping an injured blonde girl, there was the quiet blue-haired swordsman, who never seemed to get a lot of notice and there was the halberdier in the black armour. Groups were barely ever a good sign and groups invovling an injured party were even less likely to spell good news.
Placing the bag in an inconspicuous corner to keep it fairly hidden, he adressed the group "Hey, what's happening? Need any help there?"

While waiting for Victoria's food to be done cooking, Ashnard went into the common room. Upon seeing the new guy walking in and ask if he could be of help, the armored man wondered who this new guy was. And so he asked, "Who the hell are you? I've never seen you around before, but your looks make me want to kill you."

Chad backed up a little partly due to shock, and partly due to he wasn't sure what this giant of a man might do to him. "My name is Chad. I'm new around here, I was just asking if you lot needed any help with anything." He cautiously and quietly placed his arm on one of his throwing knives on his belt. If the big man attacked him, he hoped it might distract him enough for Chad to get away easier. "You know it's rude to ask someone's name without first introducing yourself. You now know my name so I ask for yours." He backed up a little more, moving into a position where he could quickly pick up his bag again.

Tossing his cape around like he owned the place, the giant man proudly shouted his name, "I am the Mad King Ashnard!" he then turned to check on the food he was preparing. "If you wrong anyone, I will kill you."

Mad King? He refers to himself as the Mad King? Well to each their own I guess. Chad relaxed a bit, not entirely the 'Mad King' had still threatened him, but he moved away from his bag again. turning to the rest of the group he asked "Is he like this with everyone or did I just piss him off somehow?"
The second after his question had been asked Chad heard a couple of knocks on the door. Weird. From what I've seen, these people don't seem like the type to knock. Then, the door creaked open and was followed by a thud in the hall. That's even stranger. 'Thuds' generally don't mean someones as happy as larry. About half a minute later there was a scream of "Oh Seigell!"
"Um... guys. That doesn't sound too good. A thud followed by someone screaming a name? I say you've got a dead... or dying body in your hall. I think we should go check it out, anyone with me?"
