Name: Yusake Akimoto

Name Meaning/Nickname: As he would say "Hell if I know." Some people have called him Dumbass or b*****d though. But many more have called him "Artificial Devil" for the sole fact that his right arm and certain sections of his body are metal.

Gender: Male

Race: As far as he's concerned or knows, he's human.

Character Looks: Yusake has a decent height of 5' 8", and still growing. His hair is short, though not too short and quite unkept looking. It mostly falls about to the length of his ears on either side, longer then that on the back of his head and just to the mid piont of his forehead in the front. His eyes are a dark brown color, and carry the look of a rebellious spirit within them, determined and unyielding to others. Yusake's skin is a brown color, appearing quite tanned, but this is his natural coloration. He has a generally lithe and atheltic seeming build, the kind one might expect from a boy between fifteen and sixteen years of age. As for his clothing, the first and only thing people will see when he first arrives will be the beaten, worn, a bit torn up cloak around his body...worn for the obvious reason of covering his metal arm. Yes, he indeed has a metal right arm which appears to be made from pure silver and gold, the gold being the joints of the arm and hand. The metal travels over his shoulder, and is also the same kind of metal which has been put in place of his shoulder bones, the left most side of his chest, his lower right abdomen, left side of the waist, as well as his left knee and ankle. The reasons for why he needed these are as of yet unknown.

Allignment: Good, if you can call him that. Although a pain to deal with, generally ill-tempered and rude, Yusake is actually a good man at heart. He has strong convictions and will actually protect those who otherwise cannot protect themselves. Never the less...he's still an a*****e...

Personality: Yusake has a generally tough and cocky attitude. It actually matches the character by the same name (which he was incidently named after by his now deceased father). Though he is prone to showing kindness...in his own way, he is for the most part a loner and not one who is easy to get close to. He is quickly recognized for being lude and quite mouthy, which tends to get him on the bad side of others or simplly get him in trouble. Beyond that, there is a much deeper side of him that comes from his deep convinctions based very much on the idea that a person should stand firm against all obstacles and never run away.

History: At the moment I will only give details on parts of his history he himself would give to others. There are various details about Yusake that he himself must give away before I make post them up here, so on that note, please bare with me. Yusake lived most of his life in the streets, and became a kind of scrapper, learning to fight or die was his way of life. This is how he lived until meeting with the "Old man" he's now alongside of, Solumone Graves. Yusake now travels with and works for the self employed merchant of whom is a mystery in his own right. Yusake has already made a presence and a name of sorts for himself with his outspoken nature. He hasn't spoken much about his past though, besides the fact that he met Solumone two years prior. Possibly another aspect which, as of yet, is known to only one student would be the strange mental images within Yusake's mind. By pure chance his mind was scanned a young woman named Keila while she slept. His very inner thoughts were read, terrible images of death and suffering of which Yusake seems oblivious too. But those inner thoughts did come to haunt those near him. As of recent, Yusake has been attacked and nearly killed by a gargantuan, white monster. Though he escaped the danger and death, Yusake returned changed. The metal of his body was now black, the joints red as blood. His irises were turned black as well, and so far he has attacked at least four people and injured at least two severely. The reasons for this as of yet are unknown, and whether or not this will lead to Yusake's eventual death is also unknown. Though he has not taken much time in thinking about lately. In fact, he's returned to the life that was meant for him when attending the school, studying! Though he hates to, Solumone has kept him in line by continuing to force his studying on him. It has not always been easy, but it has been necessary. He was even fortunate enough to find a girlfriend, if anyone can believe that. But, with all this studying, the Star Tournament, and dealing with daily life there has not been much time for her!

Any weapons/armor: Ziakesetsu, Yusake's sword which was given to him by Solumone Graves. The sword has a straight blade which reaches about four feet in length, and splits at the center starting from about half a foot away from the point. The split, so Solumone says, can be used to capture a sword much like a knife can slide between the openings in a fork. Yusake just thinks it's something to look cool...and still to this day wonders at which point Solumone actually handed him the sword.

Any items: The only item, per say, of which Yusake owns is the pendant he wears. It is a simple, gold circlular design with a thin diamond shaped, clear gem in the center. He refuses to tell the signifigance of the object, and perhaps doesn't even know it himself...not that he would admit to that.


Any battle skills/magical powers: Yusake has an uncanny ability to use his sword. For a man who never has trained a day in his life with a sword before aquiring it, he uses the blade as if it were as natural as breathing. That's not to say he's perfect, far from it...of course, much of his problems in combat could be attributed to his cocky attitude and poor focus. Yusake always wields Light, or so Solumone tells him. This is an ability he is not so capable in, even though he has carefully honed a few little moves out of it. His lackluster use in this power is actually his primary reason for attending the school. Yusake has, so far, only learned new ways to channel his own powers in various attacks. Like his previous attacks, he has named them, and because of his love for a certain form of animation, calls their names out loudly.

Character Flaws: Cocky, arrogant, hot-headed, rash, doesn't pay attention well, doesn't handle authority well or show the best respect to figures of authority. Tendancy to make an a** of himself, as well as gain enemies from his rude behavior. His fighting is rather undesciplined and a bit reckless. Doesn't often restrain himself, whether it be socialy or in battle. Not exactly a 'tank' among men.

Friends in the Realm: The only friend he himself can name would probably be Solumone. Though not incapable of making friends, the great deal of traveling often prevents long term relationships. Not to mention Yusake's habit of being far too loud, and seemingly too arrogant. But, at the very least, his closest friend Maru is still in the school.

Enemies in the Realm: An individual he refers to only as "Faust" of whom he has a great deal of resentment toward. As well as a creature he does not know the name of. This creature was responsible for a terrible event in Yusake's past, something which has haunted him since, something he holds as a reason to kill this creature. Thought not necessarily considered an enemy in the truest sense, Dante is considered a rival of Yusake's, due to a possible encounter they may or may not have had. Yusake's recent rampage has made him at least three enemies out of the people he has attacked, those of which he has yet to see again. There is also probaly the one man he never expected to meet, or even know about...his own brother. Yusake's older brother, Kujiro, is already an enemy, as his contempt for others and cruelty is a trait Yusake could never look up to.

Lover: Yusake has a girlfriend! Who'd a thunk it? The woman in his life goes by the name Reaper, although he has about as many colorful terms for her as she for him.

He usually wears a royal blue top (like musketeer top) over a white long-sleeved shirt. He has green-ish cargo pants. If he is wearing something else at the time, it will be noted.

Allignment(Good, Neutral, Evil,): Good.

Personality: Icarus is pretty shy, but sometimes more open, especially with people he's gotten to know. He's about always happy, and tries to help his friends. Icarus usually likes joking around, but doesn't like pranks, and when he's serious he's serious.

History (if your character has one): Icarus was the son of Daedalus, a large inventor and scientist until recently, who lived on his own island. Icarus was separtated from his dad in a fire at the lab, and was sent off from the island to the mainland. Icarus has been wandering around since that incident several years ago, and now just lives at the school. Follow the story for more, of course.

Any weapons/armor you have(You should not have very much as a beginner, and you should earn more through rping. Same goes for the next two.): Icarus usually has a fencing rapier and a set of bow and arrows in battle, but mostly uses his magic. He doesn't have any armor, but he usually stays far enough away from the enemy that he doesn't need it.

Any items you have: Icarus doesn't seem to have any gear, but somehow he still gets all of his books to class. Follow story.

Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Icarus has some potions and useful items for battle, but he mostly relies on his speed and diverse plant magic.

Character Flaws(You must have at least two.): Icarus isn't that strong in general, and is weak against physical weapons and some magic. His main weakness in battle is fire, though. He's really more of a team player.
He doesn't have much of a grey area in emotions, though he's usually pretty happy.

Race: berserker (a cat-like creature that transforms)

Character Looks: Izzy has black hair and one green and one blue cat-like eyes. She has long pointed ears and long canine and insiscor teeth. She has a tail as well. She's very tan and has a good muscle build for being young. She's not very tall, about 5'1". She has a short torso and long legs. Her hair is short barely hitting her shoulders. And she has many freckles on her face. In her transformed state she is roughly 7'.

Allignment: Chaotic Neutral

Personality: Bouncy, bubbly, easily angered, a bit cocky. She's relatively friendly and she's got a chip on her shoulder.

History: Lived with her parents and extended family as a child and was trained in martial arts and with tonfas. Her mom is a human while her father is a berserker that had a history of eating people, except Izzy's mom.

Her eyes are a very deep sea blue and her hair is blonde, and falls just past her rear end. She loves Christmas and is wearing her hair in white and red fuzz pony-tails and red and white striped gloves that reach just past her elbows, and socks of the same design that land just below her knees, and a red dress landing just above her kness, and lined with white fuzz

Personality: Bubbly and fun-loving. Although she can get very sad or mad if nessery.

History (if your character has one): Lily had a torn soul, one soul in two bodies. The story behind why is yet to have been revealed, but Darius's love for Lily beat her curse and she is now one whole person again.

Character Looks(Hair color, eye color, etc. Try to give as much detail as possible, please.):Uwasa is about 6 foot 4 he has silver hair with black streaks running through it.His eye's are silver witch is very odd. He is quite muscular of build, he almost always is wearing the same cloths he just has copies of all of them. He usaully wears a long black leather trentch coat a black short sleeve button up shirt, black jeans and black running shoes. Also he never goes anywear with out his black sunglasses.

Personality:He is a nice guy until you make him mad then he can be the worse person in the world. He hates people who enjoy hurting others and usaully sticks to himself. But he is easy to get along with and most often will offer to help just becaus ehe likes to.

History (if your character has one):His history is a long a troubled one he grew up being the youngest having one older sister. When he was born he was chosen to be the next savoir because of his hair colour. His race almost died out so there where no cities his race just live among humans so his father sent him to a normal school. He made freinds even with his strange hair but there was one person who was jealous. They used dark rituals on them selves and became a powerful force. He destroyed tyhe entire school killed uwasa's sister but was chased off by uwasa's father. Uwasa blames himself for that and always wants to prove he will never let it happen again. Two years later he came to ria high.

He has seven copies of his out fit so it always looks like he wears the same cloths. He does own a cell phone though uit barely ever works. He also owns some interesting sculptures he collected while in europe


Any battle skills/magical powers you have:He has power of shadow and earth, but he also has two other forms one allows him power over fire while the other grants him a strange silver version on his shadow energy.

Character Flaws(You must have at least two.):He has a strong weakness to sunlight thats why he always wears sunglasses because with out them he would not be able to see. Also he cannot eneter an anti-magic feild because it would make him ill and paralyzed.

Character Looks(Hair color, eye color, etc. Try to give as much detail as possible, please.): As pictured by avi. Jet black hair with luminescent orange eyes. Lean muscular body with flaming claws covered by gloves. He wears black and orange clothing and appears mysterious.


Allignment(Good, Neutral, Evil,): Neutral

Personality: Khalen is a loner and only talks to those who talk to him. He tends to show up in the middle of things and try to help the best he can. He is intelligent and superior in the fields of all Martial Arts and Jutsu's. He is also skilled with the Bo Staff he names the Ketsaiga which he gained from his mother. Though he seems shy and strange, he can be very outgoing and loving. He keeps to himself and doesnt want anyone to get hurt. He's said to be quite flirtatious.

History (if your character has one): Khalen was born illegitimately by a werewolf raping his mother who was a Child of the Phoenix. His mother not having the resources to raise Khalen as a kid, abandoned him at the age of 4 on the side of river in a desolate village. Khalen was found and adopted and raised. Soon, he became a danger to the society when his Werewolf instincts sent him acting ravage and killing the village population. He was exiled and hunted out of the village. He struggled to survive on his own and traveled from city to city looking for care and resources.

At the age of 16, he found himself at an inn with an owned name Krystic. She lent him a place to sleep by the fireplace and he preformed odd jobs to pay off his stay. One night, he found himself mesmerized in front of the fireplace. A outline and shadow of a Phoenix sat in the flames. He became entangled in the site and reached out for it. The spirit in the flames was Khalen's dead mothers soul. In it were her powers. Khalen's body was changed and he inherited the family line of Child of the Phoenix. With the power to heal himself, he gained the power to control fire and travel at speeds that left him invisible to the eye.

Khalen ventured far and beyond and coincidently, he found himself at the log cabin he used to live in as a child. He went inside and looked around for any source of his mother. He found himself face to face with his mothers Bo Staff. It was covered in tribal art and its color resembled that of a flaming orange. At the ends were miniature statues of Phoenixs sharpened at the beaks. Khalen honed his skills with this weapon and became a force to be reckoned with. He did dangerous jobs as an assasin and club fighter earning a rep.

Khalen now finds himself trying to fit in with people and live a normal life. He plans to attend a school to learn about the world and share his story with the rest of society.

It is vibrant and depicts the tribal art from the Children of the Phoenix. At the ends of the staff, there are miniature statues of Phoenix's which are sharpened deadly at the beak.

Any items you have: A ruby jewel which contains the essence of Ifrit the Fire Beast himself. Khalen has not found a use for it yet, but plans to in the future.


Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Martial Arts (Karate, Jujitsu and Tae Kwon Do. Street Fighting. He is able to manipulate fire and also create it through hand movements. (Fire Sorcery) Healing Recovery (those of a Phoenix)

Name: Rene Gekkou

Gender: Female

Race: Human? (She's at least Half Human)

Character Looks: Emerald eyes, brown hair of medium length, fair skin, height 5ft 7 and 3/4in weight 107 lbs

Allignment(Good, Neutral, Evil,): Good

Personality: She ranges from hyper and very happy (which usually means someone gets hit or beat up) to shy and quiet where sometimes she goes into transes. As an Empath who picks up mostly bad feelings such as pain, anger, depression etc, she recieves those emotions and they can become her own.

History: When Rene was born something went wrong with her. In order to save her life her father, a magician, gave his life and somehow through this process Rene became connected with the Earth. Rene has a younger brother (less than a year younger than her) named Kurai, yet he has a different father.

There had always been a tension between Rene and her mother and step-father (although she always loved her brother) and at one point Rene ran away from their mansion. On her run she was surrounded by people dressed in black and was attacked. Oddly she was saved by an enourmous monster who was her father in a different form. The only thing Rene remembers of the event is being covered in blood when she was found by Aili the Priestess of the Villiage.

At the age of 13 Rene and her brother Kurai where forced to leave their village and their friend Ky. The two were sent to work on a farm (where Rene secretly used her elemental gift of earth to help the plants grow slightly better.) Only after Kurai started visiting Ria High did Rene join because she was too lonely by herself. At one point Rene went on a field trip for her mercenary class and ended up back at her village that had been massacured shortly after the sister and brother left. The only other people remaining that Rene knows of are Ky, who made his way to Ria High but then dissapeared (Rene tried to find him but failed) and Aili who is a priestess at the school.

Mint, a robot created by Joy and given to Kurai as a sister and Rene claims Mint as her sister. Last Rene heard Mint was missing.

Rene hardly ever shows up at school, she blanks out alot and finds herself in strange places.

Any weapons/armor you have: A jeweled daggar with the biggest jem as an emerald in the center of the hilt.

Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Earth Element, Empath (more so to anything bad)
