The trip towards where the dorm building was supposedly located was quite...interesting, to say the least.
They had passed through the courtyard area, with its stunning array of fruit trees, they'd passed by a few people who looked to be conversing with each other, as well as two other people, one of them a werewolf looking person, downstairs in what looked to be a living room or den of some sort.
When they had walked through the courtyard, Tiamek had passed by Axel when he'd stopped for a moment, and they had to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to the roof.
The kitsune knew she and Tehuti could handle the stairs, but she wasn't so sure about Axel, since he had said he was blind, which meant stairs wouldn't be as easy to climb for him.
He seemed rather frustrated though, before saying something in a rather angered tone, but, after a few moments, managed to climb the stairs relatively easier than before.
Upon reaching the roof, Tiamek shielded her eyes a little from the brightness of the sun, allowing her eyes to adjust a little to the change in light level, as she heard Tehuti ask if it was quite impressive.
Lifting her hand away from her eyes, the kitsune gasped aloud in amazement at how high up they were, and how much there was to see all around from here.
She took a deep breath, delighting in the myriads of scents that drifted up from several areas of the school, the sickly sweet smell of fruits from the courtyard where they'd passed, cooking food from the dining hall, and there were quite a few smells that interested her, though she wasn't sure what they were.
There was the faintest hint of blood coming from somewhere on the campus, which made Tiamek ruffle her tails a little in agitation, but shook her head, trying to tune it out and focus on the more pleasing scents.
She glanced towards Axel as he came over, frowning a little as she noted how tired he was, as he tapped Tehuti's footpaw with his cane on accident, and apologizing for it.
Tiamek was about to ask Axel if he was feeling okay, but she turned her attention to Tehuti as he asked how the view from the roof compared to her view from her castle.
The kitsune smiled, a light blush tinting her cheeks, she wasn't sure why she seemed to get this way, but, perhaps it was because Tehuti was a lot more like her, his mannerisms seemed much more refined compared to Tenshi's, whom she knew his manners all too well.
" Lovely, it's very lovely~ There is definitely a lot more to see from here, I can say, the castle view mostly looked out into the garden, but this is much more interesting~" she said, not even hiding the awe and wonder in her voice, as her gaze momentarily strayed over towards a rather unusual looking structure that seemed nestled somewhere far back in the forest (the Abandoned Factory).
Her gaze lingered on it a bit, trying to figure out what it was, but shook her head, taking a deep breath again, just letting all of her negative thoughts spiral away into the atmosphere as a soothing wind ruffled her ears and hair, and she reached up, absentmindedly adjusting the kitsune mask she wore on the side of her face, since it had started to slip a little out of place.
" But yes, it really does calm the nerves, definitely something I needed~" the kitsune added, her voice sounding much more chipper than before, " Have you come here a few times before, Tehuti?" she asked, wondering if perhaps he had come up here a few times or so in the past, since he had said he'd been here for a good long time, compared to her and perhaps a few others at least, including Tenshi.
Her eyes slid over towards Axel momentarily, seeing him looking a little...spacey? Thoughtful? It was a little hard to tell with his faded pupils, or so it seemed, at least.
" And you, Axel, how are you feeling?" she asked him, not wanting to let him feel too left out of the conversation, even though she couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking about.

Tehuti hardly even registered the tap on his paw, but at Axel's 'sorry' he looked down to see the cane moving away. Had he hit him? Either way it was cool by him.
"Hmm? Oh no no, it's quite alright Axel.2 he replied. It must be inconvenient being blind, and while Tehuti could probably make up for it with hearing and smell, not being able to see the colours of the world, or focus carefully on your prey, that would annoy him...

While he had been up here a few times, it wasn't his favourite place, however his favourite place was probably too far away to get to... Well he assumed it would be, he wasn't sure how fast or easily his two companions could move.
"I do not frequent this area as much as I used to. However it is still a nice place to unwind." He answered quietly, looking down over the edge of the barrier surrounding the roof.

Axel's mind was a million miles away from the roof of the dorms. He barely heard Tehuti said about it was alright. Images of the past four years flashed before him. Smoke, coughing....darkness.....the foreign smell of the leaves and blood.....the smell of the hospital...the beep of a life support machine.....being unable to move most of his body...... Axel's body seemed to respond to his thoughts. Slowly Axel's body changed from his very cat-ish form to his human form. Ears laying back and hiding in his hair, the fur seeming to recede from his face as it took a more human shape, paws returning to bare feet, and claws retracting. Only his tail seemed to stay, slightly twitching. Axel gripped his cane a moment, before Tiamek's voice snapped him back. He flicked his head towards her; his pale jade eyes seemed to be dilated. Although they seem to contract even though there was no reason for them to contract or dilate.

"Oh...ummmm yeah I’m alright...Just thinking about what it must look like from up here." Axel said while scratching his head. He didn't want to lie to Tiamek, but he didn't want to tell the truth either. His past was his past and not theirs to worry about. He smiled awkwardly as he looked back out towards the imperceptible scenery. Axel was trying not to slip back into the memories of his past. He would much rather stay here with Tiamek and Tehuti than go back there.

Tiamek's ears flicked slightly as Tehuti didn't seem to be paying much attention when Axel's cane had tapped his foot, but said it was alright anyways.
Her eyes had momentarily wandered to the strange faraway structure among the woods, just sitting there in the trees, like a huge, imposing monster about to make a leap at an unseen enemy, or something of the sort.
A faint trickle of curiosity came to her mind, wondering if maybe she should go to that place, see what exactly was there, if there was anything of interest to see there besides the structure itself.
She looked towards Tehuti momentarily as he answered her question on if he'd come up here in the past, saying that he didn't come here as much as he used to, but it was still a nice place to unwind.
Smiling, Tiamek nodded to him in agreement, the high views and the wonderful feeling of just being away from all of the earthly burdens was making her feel more relaxed and calmer than usual, she momentarily thought back to the area with the willow tree, where she and Tenshi had been relaxing, before they had met and saved Axel from that crazed phantom girl.
The kitsune realized too little too late about thinking those types of thoughts, her ears flattening and a frown coming upon her face as the images of the conflict in the forest came to mind again.
Her eyes glanced back to Axel again, watching him as he transformed back into his human form with a certain interest, remembering he had said how Bastets were able to control the extent of their transformations, and, when he had finished, the only cat part of him that remained was his tail.
When she asked him how he was feeling, he seemed to snap back from the daze he had been in, and looked to her, his eyes dilating and contracting at random intervals.
He said he was alright, and that he had just been thinking about what it must look like from up here, giving an awkward smile before turning to look towards the view from just over the ledge.
She frowned a little, feeling bad inside that Axel wasn't able to enjoy the sights and beauty of the world around them like she and Tehuti could...
Reaching out, Tiamek gently touched his arm, a sad smile forming on her face, " Do you...ever wish you were able to see the world around you? And, perhaps, maybe if not with your own eyes, then, maybe through the eyes of another?" she asked softly, wondering if perhaps it was possible for him to be able to see the world through the eyes of others, though she wasn't sure if his ability to read energies would allow him to.
She momentarily looked over to Tehuti, and spoke, " Though, Tehuti, may I ask you if you know what that odd structure is over there? It... seems to be catching my eye a lot, and I don't believe I've ever known it was there until I saw it from here..." she asked him, lifting a slender finger and pointing with her free hand over towards the monstrous structure among the trees in the distant forest, he had said he'd been here for quite a long time, perhaps he knew what it was?
She wasn't sure, all she knew was that the odd, standalone building seemed to radiate a strange aura, foreboding and desolate, with a hint of mystery to it... whatever it was, her mind seemed to want to plague her thoughts with questions of what it was, and most likely wouldn't stop until she got answers, one way or another.

Axel transformed? Well, it certainly wasn't something you see every day that's for sure! Tehuti stood a little bemused at the sight for a while, but quickly snapped back to reality as Tiamek spoke up about the abandoned factory.
"That? In all honesty I am not entirely sure. It is known around the school simply as the 'Abandoned Factory' though I have never learned its true name. I used to hunt around the perimeter of the building. It had quite a nice population of rodents... however, recently, there has been very few, and I have no idea why..." Tehuti divulged as he looked over the trees. The factory was just one of those places, forgotten by most of the world and left to crumble.
"May I ask, why does it catch your attention?" He asked quietly looking back over to the dainty (well compared to him anyway) figure of Tiamek, taking in the mask perched on her head while he had the chance. IT looked vaguely canine, that was all he could tell.
